Not happy

I made a single booking with Ferryonline.co.uk on 08.07.2012 for 17.07.2012: Liverpool-Dublin @ £119. Ref: #121900001524, ticket # 80348913. On the webpage it stated that I could change the booking at a cost . It has come to my attention that there was an error. A booking was made and I was charged £199. I called them up and explained to them, they didn't want to know. They informed me that the price is correct and they told me that I couldn't change the booking.

Dear Mr Kelly,
Thank you for your review, we value all reviews good and bad.

But in this case we really need to make clear that our system pulls ALL ferry prices in real time and the prices pulled are from the ferry supplier(s) own system and is the correct price at the time of the search and is the price that you would be required to pay if you wish to proceed to payment stage.

I dealt with you personally regarding your purchase during both your telephone calls, and while you were on the phone we looked at every alternative ferry crossing this week with P&O Ferries at the time stated where ALL prices quoted are still £199.

We have looked into the back end of our system for your search queries and at NO TIME were any prices quoted as £119 for the route and time that you have booked.

We have offered to change your booking for a different day or time, with no amendment charges by us and found a cheaper crossing, but you felt the saving was not worth the inconvenience of a 03.00am departure time. I also offered to speak with P&O Ferries if you were able to give us the example of the lower priced fare.
