Waste of time and money.

About a month ago I purchased a key reel for my boyfriend's birthday since he had asked for one he could use at work. Since he works in an industrial environment, the materials in the product were important. I opted to buy the sekurikey heavy duty keyreel from ebuyer, advertised on the website as being "tough nylon coated stainless steel cable". The product arrived quickly though I paid a lot for postage. However, when I opened it, the product was actually made with kevlar cord, which despite being a durable material was not suitable for my boyfriend's work environment. Following 8 enote exchanges with customer support, during which the difference in materials was acknowledged, I was told that this did not qualify as a misdescription of the item (it being made of a completely different material!) and that they would raise a return for me but I'd have to pay expensive postage. This to me seems very unfair, since I'd already paid a load of money to have a wrongly described item delivered to my house. In the end I got sick of arguing my point, and the item remains unopened on my desk since it isn't worth my while to return it. Further to this, the product remains on the website with this incorrect description unchanged. Not very pleased at all, I won't be using ebuyer again and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anybody else.

Edit: Since posting this review, I contacted the person who responded to it, who promptly looked into the case and offered me a refund with free collection. Although it's a shame it's taken so long to get to this point, I am very pleased with what I have been offered, and in view of this have revised my rating to 3 stars.
