Hostelworld

Great for finding hostels, intransparent about how much money they take from hostels though and some fake reviews.

Hostelworld is great for finding hostels in any place around the world and the booking software works without problems so that even some hostels use them on their private homepages. This makes looking for and booking hostels an easygoing thing to do. What I dont like about them is that they are quite intransparent about their revenues. Despite the service charge of 1.50EUR they also keep the 10percent deposit which I think is way too much.
