After 8 months the bed has broken in two separate places!
After two weeks of sleeping on the floor this has still not been resolved.
It has been a nightmare to speak to anyone.
Emails I send 'go missing' calls are not returned.
All in all probably the worst company I have ever had to deal with.
When trying to make a complaint about this the 'Manager' I spoke to asked why I would want to make a complaint?
Terrible Products and Awful customer service!
Had a delivery from this company yesterday, I was at work so a card was put through the door saying they had called but with no further information about if/when they would call again.
Called the number on the card got through to an automated system which wouldn't recognise the reference number on the card and asked four times before it would put me on hold to speak to someone.
Eventually spoke to someone and asked if i could pick up the package from the depot the next day. I was told this was fine any time between 8 - 6. I took time off work the next day and travelled to get the package. When i got there i was told it had already been delivered to someone. After waiting around they managed to find a 'name' of the person (was infact random letters and not a name) As i've just moved to the area had no idea who this was supposed to be. After more waiting around eventually was told the address of where it had been dropped off a few houses down my road.
Massive waste of my time and left my parcel with complete strangers and now have to wait until they are in to collect my package. Joke of a company, I i had a choice would never ever use again.
This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I have never felt the need to write a review on a company before and always take bad reviews with a pinch of salt, but this company is beyond terrible!! I ordered a set of drawers that came quickly which I was pleased with however they were damaged (the had obviously happened prior to packing and was sent anyway as the packaging was not damaged) I contacted the company several times each speaking to a different person who had no idea what the previous person had said and had robotic responses and gave conflicting information. Over email was no better with replies that ignored questions I asked i.e. can you just send replacement parts rather than the whole lot to avoid new damage? had to send 10s of emails. I have eventually got a replacement delivered set (not parts as requested) today (meaning taking another day off work) and the damaged one was collected and after opening it find it is more damaged than the first!! I have given up now and will just have to write this £150 off by the looks of it. I also ordered other parts of the furniture set from another company at the same time, this unfortunately also came damaged, however this company delt with it excellently, apologising, send new items out with speed and continuity, all staff I felt were competent, they also let me keep the damaged furniture to get the best parts from both and to avoid hassle of sending back and apologise for the inconvenience. Worldstores however is a complete joke! I was planning on purchasing a bed though them but would not even trust them to deliver a pillow undamaged without problems! World stores awful awful company please avoid unless you enjoy wasting time and money.
I've been waiting for a call back/email from the company all day and then when I write a review I get a response within the hour. I think this highlights how much of a poor company they are that it takes a negative review before they get back to you. (Still waiting to hear from them directly and still not resolved)
After posting this review the service I received was excellent and came to a satisfactory agreement for money off the damaged furniture. If the service I received after posting this review had been consistent throughout this would be five stars.
