I ordered some electric tooth brush heads online from Currys and seven days later they arrived. They were not the ones advertised on the web , they were completely different from what I ordered, no use whatsoever, so I took them back to my local store , a 30 mile round trip.
I couldn't get a refund from the store. The manager stated that he had to send them back to the internet sales dept and I would receive an Email telling me what happens next.
Another 5 days passed and I finally get an Email telling me that my "claim" is being "reviewed".
Like I am at fault?
The only fault of mine is that I trusted this shambles of a company to send me something through the post.
I will never use Currys or Dixons or PC World ever again and neither will my family and friends !
I'm not one for writing reviews usually but if you're looking to buy something from Ask Direct online then I hope this might help. I recently placed an order online at 3pm for a new Laptop. Apart from being the cheapest anywhere (I saved 20% off list on a Toshiba A660- 14c) they also offered free delivery of 1- 2 days. So I went for it. At 9am the next day I received an email from Ask saying that my Laptop would be delivered between 11 and 12 !And so it was. Brand new security sealed and perfect in every way. Can't tell you how massively impressed I am with this company. The best I've ever used in over 15 years of buying online. Oh BTW diid I forget to mention that I also saved £96 on a 12 month free subscription to Lovefilm as well??? Nice!!
