Wow, how does this happen? Spend so much time selecting all the parts for your new ride, super excited to get, and then... waiting waiting waiting, 10 days, OK, maybe something is wrong. Go track it down on their site, N O T H I N G. Shoot them an e-mail, N O T H I N G, give them a call, N O T H I N G. I think I have made my point. Don't waste your time with these clowns. If they had any sense they would close their site, erase their answering machine message and move back in with mommy and daddy. Hope to at least get my $150 back from Paypal, I'll keep you posted.
Update. So, the morning after writing this kinda over-the-top insulting review, I get 4 phone calls and 1 message left in the 7AM range from some man from A1 Skateboards. Message: "calling about your order, call us back", that's it. OK, dick move, call after 9AM pllllease. He does call back at 9AM and I answer. He never gives his name says, "I have all your parts in stock, should I mail it out or cancel your order?"
I am thinking, "are you kidding me, it's been 11 or 12 days now and you haven't put my board together and I have asked for a refund 3 times." I politely request a refund. "I'll get right on that." I hear, CLICK.
Wow. still. I DO get the refund via paypal later that day, but man, how does that company stay in business? So, I decided after the fact to check these guys out on Better Business Bureau website. They have an F rating. 34 claims, 27 of them unanswered. Seriously go see this for yourself:

Shocking. I think I have nothing more to say other than friendly advice to A1. Work on communication and friendliness. Consider giving your name when you make a phone call to customer. Consider being apologetic when you drop the ball, maybe offer an explanation; e.g. "One of your parts wasn't in stock and we have been swamped over the holidays". Oh yeah, BE ON TIME, your an online company.
I don't thrive on being so harsh and seeing people's companies fail to do the most simple things to survive. I hope they get their stuff together, they have a great website that is easy to use and some good products. Good luck to A1, avoid them until further notice.
