I found flights24 very helpful when booking flights. In principal you can find out the airfares from hundreds of airlines in a matter of seconds and they also state whether the airline is a 'low cost' no frills type of airline or not. The prices we paid were reasonable even though we didn't go for the cheapest flights and opted instead for a more comfortable airline because we were flying with our son.
Everytime I look for something in particular, I always check in amazon.com, even if it's something I found on a retail shop, because the most of the times it's cheaper. You can find really big deals in there. Anyway I like to compare different prices and references, but this one might be my favourite, I guess.
A good friend of mine recommended me this website and I found it quite interesting. In this world of social media and brand new communities anywhere for anything, it had to be also one dedicated to readers and books. It works as any other community of its kind, you can rate books, upload your "shelves" and tell the people what are you reading currently. A funny thing, they sent me an e-mail because I took so long to upload about a book I was reading, so it kinda preassured me to finish it, but of course, you can always unsubscribe to shuch e-mails.
I have have a long term relation with BH. Ever since I visited some relatives in NYC and went to the shop there (12 years ago!). Nowadays I'm glad I can buy online on the website, where everything went fine to me so far. Shipping, costumer service and quality are therefore good. I still prefer, but, to visit the real shop a couple of times in the year.
