Great service for shipping, but very disappointed with the product !! Ordered explorer shoes specifically for their waterproof quality, but turns out they are far from waterproof !! After 30 minutes walking in wet grass with my brand new shoes my feet are already wet as water infiltrates the shoes from the sides... I really don't recommend this product which is pretty expensive considering...

I received my shoes two weeks ago. I should have bought 1/2 a size up for more comfort. I am intrigued that they are are made from hemp and algae. I have worn them daily to walk the dogs in the local forrests. So they were tested thoroughly. They appear sturdy sofar. The soles have a great grip. Considering what I said above they are comfortable. Looking forward to seeing how they hold up over the next years.

After using my trainers for just half a year, they are completely worn down and coming apart. The quality of the material is definitely subpar, they are coming apart at the heel and toe so you can see the plastic bag that was used the "waterproof" the shoe. This plastic bag approach also gave the shoes the sound of crackling plastic while walking. I love the idea of vegan hemp shoes, but this was sadly not it!

I've bought backpack by 8000kicks to and I was amazed by first minute I've received it! I was patient with this review and I'm writing it after more then one month of wearing it. Bag became my very good friend which is suitable for almost every ocassion. Material and style how it's made is simply perfect. I have nothing to complain about. I can recommend it to everybody who is considering this beautiful product.

i am an old customer... started with a backpack, and now second pair of shoes... love it... light and comfortable...
and wanted to add that in my experience they have one of the best customer services out there. very responsive, friendly, and helpful. got exchanged the last pair of shoes for the bigger one without any problems or questions...

Very well made, very comfortable, breathable and look nice. Delivery was quick too. Highly recommend. Please note I am only one month into wearing them. So far I dare say worth the price.

Brilliant communication from the team and customers service! Unfortunately the shoe ran a bit small for my wide feet, and if I could think of an improvement, I'd would be to make the lining in the shoe more organic feel.

I ordered a pair of shoes for my boyfriend. The design is cool and the shoes felt very high quality, but unfortunately they did not fit the shape of his feet.
I was really happy about the customer service experience I had, when returning the shoes. Patricia was kind, helpful and replied very quick.

Great shoes, can’t say enough!

I have been getting Kicks for years now and they always fit comfortably and they have a simple look I love about them. I hate having a ton of decals on shoes and just want practical shoes and am a big fan of hemp which is natural and growing it sucks up CO2 like a sponge. The ethical business practices are a plus in a world that is increasingly becoming more toxic.

I've worn them a few times (maybe about 8) and haven't done anything crazy while wearing them. No hiking, no major stressors to test them out, nothing overly unusual and my left boot is already coming part. The right boot looks nothing like the left one does and is in perfect condition. To add insult to injury, it rained today and the hole in the left boot allows water to get in making my foot wet. After reaching out to customer service my options were to get a replacement product available from their website (but not a replacement boot!) or get a refund. Customer service said they are aware of this issue but “don't have enough boots to replace and we are not considering this now. We can send other new product from our brand or refund the price of the pair of the boots.”

I spent a long time looking for a durable lightweight waterproof boot for work and was so excited to come across something that said it would last and wouldn’t be heavy only to suffer this utter disappointment. Definitely not worth the wait or hype from kickstarter and will not be giving them another chance since the boots are coming apart after less than a dozen wears.

I loved their boots so much I had to get a second pair.

Got 1 pair ~2,5 year ago and I wore them till they wear down. Recently I ordered 3 more pairs (during awesome valentines day sale) and they are still amazing, I’m reccomending them constantly.
