THIS HAS BEEN A DAMN NIGHTMARE.
-Everyone is right. You spend so much time filling in the gaps he never tells you or trouble shooting his issues. This is not a problem with people being unable to follow his directions. The issues come up even after following everything he does exactly. Not only that but it is so out dated. Even the out-dated Linux is way better. ACLOUDGURU IS LITERALLY HORRIBLE. They spend so much time trying to teach you things outside the cloud cert as well, and even those don't run properly. Please save your time and money and use a different resource! Shame on ACG. Fix these issues!

I signed up for a month to month plan this past year (before realizing how outdated the material was) and was surprised to find that they had also signed me up for their annual plan (I am positive there was no user error on my end). So my account was allowed two subscriptions at the exact same time. I tried to get support but no luck. Then, without refunding anything I lost all access to the site. Not to mention that another person in my household also uses the site on their own account, having logged in once on the same computer. Which account you were logged in as changed depending on which page you went to even after making sure to log out time after time.

All of this and the UI was terrible, the content was outdated, and the price is a bit steep for even good content. Plus the site is sluggish, with pages 'loading' and then another few seconds before the app actually renders.

The content of the AWS Cloud Practioner is totally irrelevant to what is actually needed to pass the exam.

Also, I received a Roal Mail fee to pay, and for my surprise, it was a "gift" that A Cloud Guru sent to me which I am never going to use. It was a RIDICULOUS sock.

You guys really need to rethink about your content and your definition of gifts.... I am not sure if I cry or laugh, very disappointing experince.

Passed the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate with ease in August 2020 thanks to their course, lot of content was updated during my month-long study, all seemed up-to-date and since then I noticed a lot of updates in this course since I finished it. I also enjoyed that their was a lot of hand-on labs. The exams simulations were slightly more easy than the real ones, I would recommend purchasing additional exam dumps elsewhere to be sure to pass.

The first couple of courses were great AWS Solutions Architect and AWS Developer but since then pretty terrible. The AWS AppSync course was bad and the AWS Alexa Skill Builder was probably the worst course I've ever taken. They craft one huge app, write some PowerPoint from the docs and then just read it all to you. Unless you have a photographic memory you won't retain much because the learning experience is so badly executed.

although I used acloudguru to pass the aws cloud practitioner, I can not recommend. The presenter usually just reads word for word off the slide, with no real world use case or explanation. I am now going through the associate solution architect course (AWS) and it is proving very difficult as there is no real explanation, just reading off the side. I expected much more. Very disappointed.

Impossible to do labs for an AWS training.
The environments provided don't allow you to to labs wich is very frustrating. Old Linux academy was very good at that but for that part, Cloud Guru is a peice of crap !!!!!

AZ-301 - The material is never explained from a problem statement perspective, or real use case. It always starts with Click Here -> New -> Type ABC -> Click OK. Done. Next module 2. The narrator has the most monotonous voice in the world. I find official sources from "microsoft learn" a diamond in comparison to acloudguru. The material from microsoft always starts with a context problem "As a XXX, suppose you need to YYYY, and you have ZZZZ, you've heard about ABC but you're not sure. ". I suggest these guys follow the example

Terrible! Most of the courses on here are well out of date... Not worth the money at all, I would advise everyone to stay away.

I have used acloud guru almost daily since about September 2018. I have mixed experience overall. The first course I took, AWS CCP, was excellent. I felt well prepared and passed the AWS CCP exam.

However, the AWS Big Data specialty course is way out of date and felt significantly lower quality then the first course I took. The labs were very few and almost useless. No exam comprehensive practice test to enhance learning and build the experience and stamina of answering questions quickly for the exam. Very few lecture quizzes with existing quizzes being very small.

I have no doubt in technical knowledge and experience of the instructor, but his ability to present, engage, explain is somewhat poor and low quality. I had to replay parts of lectures many times trying to understand the instructor's words and intonation.

After completing the course, I feel that I need a different course. Those who are well experienced with AWS Big Data stack, MIGHT be ok and could use this course as a refresher.

Those who have just some familiarity with AWS Big Data stack should steer away from acloud guru.

I'm writing this in March 2018 and the Cloud Guru Solution Architect Associate course is hopelessly out of date, isn't comprehensive enough, covers only around 60% of what is needed to pass comfortably, probably 50-55% if you want to pass with a very high mark. Practice exams are useless.
No responses on the messaging boards. Avoid.

Passed my AWS Solution Architect course. Some videos were filmed in 2015 but that was ok because newer videos were updated as required.
However dropped a point for their AWS cloud formation course. I thought that was poorly filmed

Purchased the AWS SysOps Associate Exam Prep course, read the comments before you buy, lots of people including myself have noticed that the videos are WAY out of date, filmed in 2015 for a 2017 course! Asked what videos had been updated to 2017 and was met with a defensive and uncooperative response to what is a completely acceptable question from a paying customer asked in a polite manner.

They have basically just changed the date on the artwork and added a video at the start claiming to keep it updated but this is not the case according to their support so beware.

I have no confidence in their work now, as do a lot of other people who have asked the same questions in their forums and not received a reply, which is probably why they are being so defensive.

I paid for a 2017 course and this was filmed in April 2015 with no updates! This is being mis-sold and mis-represented by the totally misleading bolted-on intro video added this year to give the impression of a new or updated course. From their unhelpful response basically refusing to let me know which parts had been updated this year (as promised in the intro video), it is clear that it is neither. Awful. Why would anyone want to revise from something filmed 2.5 years ago.
