I have done all my online PDI training with knowledgeablee instructor training and found it the most helpful. It’s full of information, easy to follow and a course at your own pace. I have also completed a in person workshop with Mick and Lee and found it the most helpful. I highly recommend Lee and Mick for any kind of instructor training!

The understanding your learner course is great value and well structured. It is easy to follow and comes with a full workbook and downloads making it easy to reflect and apply the learning to my lessons. The course challenges you to look at things in a different way and has taken how I deal with different situations to a higher level allowing my pupils to become better engaged in lessons. I have already started to see pupils responding differently and I have a much clearer understanding of why they may do things on lessons. This course was a no trainer for me after attending the standards workshop and the excellent part 3 rescue workshop. I fully recommend them

Really good. I would struggle sometimes to diagnose why a fault occurred. The course has helped me find the reason for a fault and ask in such a way which involves the learner to explore themselves why it happened. It is helping to improve the driving lessons.

I wouldn’t have passed my part 3 test without the help of Lee and Gordon on the Rescue KIT course.

I recently attended the Rescue KIT course in Motherwell earlier this month. This not only prepared me for the Part 3 test, but also helped improve my ability to deliver better Client centred lessons for my clients.

The Rescue KIt course was amazing, the course is well structured and is complimented very well with a mix of theory and in car training.

Gordon and Lee were very knowledgeable. It also gave us a chance to practise the skills as well as see other PDIs and ADIs practise these skills from the back of the car. This also helps gain perspective from others and look at different ways of doing things.

I couldn’t recommend this course enough if you have a Part 3 or SC coming up.

Even as an ADI i found there is always room for improvement. Some of this course i wish I knew as a PDI! Excellent instructors and a great 2 day working knowledge has really made a difference.

I have done other courses on the topic, but this was helpful and gave me a deeper understanding of what I am supposed to do with my learners. Thank you, Mike.

I have just completed the Understanding Your Learner online course which is ideal for instructors wanting to learn more or refresh knowledge and understanding about why their learners 'do or don't do things'.
Broken down into easy to follow video presentations with work book and sheets to support you on your journey.
Great value too.

I am currently training under Mick doing some 1:1 training. I've enjoyed everything from day one, Mick has helped me to achieve so much so far, towards hopefully being a one day qualified driving instructor, I highly recommend Mick and this company, very friendly/professional people with a passion to help others succeed in the industry. It's very good value for money, the tailored work book helps me, they have a video hub to which I am subscribed to, for a small fee per month there is endless hours of videos/content to help instructors, all categorized neatly within the hub, easy to dip in and out of and take onto lessons to be the best possible instructor. I will continue to seek CPD from them once I pass. Thanks Stephen.Atkin :)

I attended Mick Knowles’ two-day Train the Trainer workshop with Knowledgeable Instructor Training Ltd in Goole (09–10/03/2026) and it was excellent.

Mick created a relaxed, approachable atmosphere, answering all questions and providing clear guidance.

The role play, commentary driving, and comprehensive resources made learning practical and enjoyable. Understanding how to structure training for new PDIs with up-to-date industry guidance was especially valuable.

A productive, informative, and enjoyable two days - I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to enhance their training skills - ADI Gary Hughes.

I attended the Standards Check workshop in Exeter in February 2026 and I would highly recommend any training provided by KIT. Both Mick and Lee are incredibly knowledgeable, they make the training easy to understand, interactive and fun. They are brilliant at bringing different scenarios to life. They are both extremely passionate at what they do.

I qualified as an ADI a year ago and attended Lee and Mick's SC course in Exeter. I come from a police training background and this was an excellent workshop. There are so many useful techniques and models to help me improve as an instructor to deliver the best lessons I can. I was aware of the Grow model but to have it broken down in how to best use it in a lesson was so useful. As was the SMOOTH model. I have started implementing both to really work on a top down approach. I would highly recommend KIT....I will definitely be back.

The best instructor out there, after so many trials and not being able to pass, Mic showed me the way. I was able to tailor my expertise and mic showed me how. I was not only provided with hope but a sense of confidence with the knowledge I have and it was greatly enhanced due to the clear tutorial's.

I genuinely recommend everyone to use!!

Mick, made the workshop very interactive and enjoyable. I will be attending more of these type of zoom workshops in the future.

This time last year I was embarking on a new career as a Driving Instructor. I had done my research but had no idea how challenging the journey would be!

In July I successfully sat my 2nd attempt at Part 3 two days before my first pink licence expired ……

This would not have been possible without the fantastic training from Mick and Lee at the CCL and SC workshop in Blackpool, the KIT Video Hub, in car training from Mick in Bristol and an amazing ‘rescue’ call from Lee the day before my Part 3 when I was having a wobble about the test (Mick arranged this whilst on holiday - which was above and beyond any of my expectations 🤩)

I engaged in training from a number of providers and there were many positives and a few negatives along the way, but the most supportive of all, were undoubtedly Mick and Lee.

Thank you for going above and beyond to help me reach my goal of becoming an ADI in 2025!!

I had many different courses which cant even compare to this learning style and strategies. Massive knowleadge and outstanding quality. I'll higly recommend.

I had trained instructors previous and when returning to this area of work, I found many courses and packages.
I opted for KIT Train the Trainer.
Great choice. A very informative 2 day course which helped reignite my fire for helping PDIs be the best they can be.
The package they have written is also comprehensive and covers a fully integrated curriculum from Part 1 to Part 3.
I'll be recommending the package to potential PDIs and to ADIs looking to be trainers or expanding their knowledge and understanding

A really great training session, as a new PDI and yet to attempt my part 3 it was full of lots of useful information and presented in a fun and friendly way. Would recommend.

Attended a workshop yesterday in Northampton, so much guidance and information from these guys. I took alot from it, would definitely recommend this if your struggling at all.

Never came from a teaching background and got dragged into the say it see it sorted method.
Really wasnt working so i joined their facebook group , 7 passes in a week shows how much they changed me. Now i dig into the pupils mind and use real life scenarios to get my point accross.
Truly outstanding advice from Mick with clever techniques and i have definitley improved and offer much more value for money.
