Avoid! Expensive and painful.

Had a flight to China on the 1st of Sept and needed 2 PCR tests before departing from Copenhagen Airport. As an European I was allowed to get out of the airport and do the tests elsewhere as the prices imposed by this "clinic"(I don't think we can call it clini) we're ridiculous: ~$550 for 2 tests?! Really?! When in the city centre or other lab in Copenhagen is at most $150 with the results in 4h.
So, I did them elsewhere and with 2h before the flight, the Chinese embassy didn't give me the Healthy code because I didn't do the tests with "their doctor" - I'm gonna explain why I say "their doctor". On the embassy's website they tell you what info you need on your tests (passport no, name, gender etc), the approved clinics and the interval (48 and 24h before the flight). THEY DON'T MENTION THAT YOU MUST USE THEIR EXPENSIVE DOCTOR. So, I had no choice other than to go and use this service that everyone try to avoid it: guess how much was 1 PCR test? $400🤣🤣🤣. Finally I got the PAPPER certificate and I was allowed to board on the flight BUT they took the certificate off me in front of the gate and damped in a basked where there were many other certificates: from the same doctor🤣🤣.

Please, be aware because I checked the other clinics in the airport (Flick) and now they don't comply with the embassy requirements any more so, you need to use the airport doctor which from my point of view is a conscious THEFT.

Airport Doctor is unprofessional

Airport Doctor is unprofessional and not trustworthy.
August 2022. My 14 year old guest went once to take a Corona test. The test wast positive. During the following 4 days she made self- test every day at home, which were all negative and she did not have any symptoms. She went again 4 days later to Airport Doctor and got a new test. When she came out from the test room, she was bleeding badly from her nose and she was in pain. The staff at the clinic did not offer any help. As a matter of fact, instead they tried to make us leave as fast as possible, so we would not scare other potential clients. To make matters worse her second test was also positive. Obviously the personnel taking the sample is not properly trained. We were now suspicious. So we went downstairs to Falck Corona Test Centre on the ground floor. Falck was about 35% cheaper and 30 minutes later she got the new result. Her test was negative. Next day she flew home.
No explanation was given by Airport Doctor, so be aware. Poorly trained staff and dodgy results. Do not trust Airport Doctor. Avoid at all cost.

Very bad customer service

I have had a bad experience with "airport doctors" regarding a much delayed covid-19 test result. I have tried in a very polite manner to contact management and get a dialogue about it. I receive no reply on my emails (four emails sent), nor return on my many telephone calls. Very poor customer service.

My case:
I got a PCR test at "airport doctors" at 24/12 in order to confirm a positive rapid antigen test, which I got at a testcenter. It was important for me to get a quick answer (including documentation) since I needed to cancel a planned vacation 25/12 in case of a positive covid-19 test.
I received a telephone call from airport doctors with the test result after 2 hours, however the "paper documentation" I needed was not available before 26/12 at sundhed.dk, that is 52 hours after the test was taken.
I payed 1800 kr (rather expensive) for the test, but didn't get the documentation with the test result within an acceptable und usable timeframe for me.

This is a final try to reach out to the management and get a response and the refund I find appropriate.
The staf in the reception and test personal are very professional, but I would highly suggest improving the handling of customer complaints. I hope the lack of response is due to a busy Christmas's period for you, and that we can end this case with a good solution for both parties.

Looking forward to here from you.

Best regards
Karin Bilde

Awful business praying on desperation

Awful business that charges extorting prices for PCR tests to take advantage and pray on desperate travellers whose test got rejected. The prices are handwritten on a small post-it, similar to what I have seen in developing countries. This is a real shame.

— just editing this after Airport Doctor’s reply: I have not misbehaved in any fashion towards the staff (I actually did not make any comment about the format of the price list at the time — I think I was too much in shock about the actual price point — DKK 3,500), so clearly the poster must be mistaking me with someone else and perhaps should moderate her judgements towards, after all, a customer. If anything, that just proves my point about how much consideration is given to customers.

I still find the price point appalling and not driven by economics (I cannot think of any tangible factor that would justify the time to price curve these prices seem to imply), but indeed by greed. So actually I would say my reflection is developed from a pretty mature analysis of what constitutes a fair price point :).

— editing this again (this is becoming ridiculous). For the last time, I barely interacted with your staff. I would never refer to anyone’s cultural background and tie it to a third world country, or any country at all for that matter. You are taking this particular remark out of context, which was referring (in my review, and not my interaction with your staff) to the transparency of your business practices — although I concede this is not a most appropriate phrasing.

You are clearly mistaking me with someone else, on the basis of a review I am posting on Trustpilot. You should be very careful when making statements about “investigating my case” and “reporting me to the authorities”. These are rather hazardous and surprisingly unprofessional threats to issue on a public forum, and particularly at CxO level — again, on the basis of a review (!). But that seems to speak to the quality of Airport Doctor’s management.

Hello Bryan,
Thank You so much for the remarks - it truely means a lot to promote a better service in the future. Due to Your grown up remark about the yellow note our staff mentioned how badly You acted towards them in the clinic. But it actually resulted in a better note. For that we thank You. The other thing You mention is that we pray on travellers - most travellers actually find our service pretty good especially when they get rejected at check-in. So our service wasn´t your cup of tea but please stop this bad behavior online and grow up. / Sandra

Additional reply from the Management team:
Hello Bryan. Thanks for taking the time to interact. We have now investigated further on your case. General information to You: 80% of our staff is with multicultural background. When You refer to a third world country You are actually discriminating our staff. Also we found out that You verbally abused them. Our Company has a zero tolerance policy and we are very close to report You to the Authorities and to The Airport. We understand You have an issue with our prices but just to underline that You have several options to get tested at the Airport. The free public center, Falck, Eurofins and us. You don´t have a clue about our expenses or anything else why would You attack our staff and verbally abuse them. We urge You to be civilized and write a normal email stating that You are unhappy about our prices and what else You think might improve the clinic for the next traveller! But Your behavior is totally unacceptable and poor. /Behroz CEO.

I do not trust them anymore.

I do not trust them anymore.
I wrote the following feedback with one-star on 12 November 2020 on Google Review, but it turns out that my review and comment was hidden to any other googlers. Now I get why it shows a 5-star with this Airportdoctor on Google Map review. What a cheating!
Wrote on 12 November 2020 on Google Review:

"So far I have four cancellations of prepaid bookings pending with Airport Doctor for confirmations and refunds at a total amount of 7200 DKK.
On 06 November 2020 I prebooked a number of RT-PCR incl. certificate and Antibody test and certificate for my family for flight onboarding purpose on 17 November 2020. I then cancelled my bookings on 10 November 2020 morning due to a flight cancellation.

Right now it has been two days after my cancellation but I have not got a complete confirmation of my cancellation. I want to know when I can receive the refunds of my payments, but I could never reach Airport Doctor by emails or phone calls. To my experience, Airport Doctor never answers phone calls, and only replies emails from those who show a tendency of making orders or payments. This really upsets me!

As it states on its website that 'cancellation less than 48 hours no refund' for the prebooked items. I hope that Airport Doctor will eventually fulfill its commitment.

In addition, it is observed that Airport Doctor at CPH Airport has greatly benifited from the latest travel policy that is required by one of the countries abroad, where it requires that passengers must obtain dual-certificates 48 hours before departure. Monopoly has braught supernormal profits to Airport Doctor, since passengers would pay them in order to secure smooth onboardings. However, the price is much cheaper for the same aintibody test conducted by Falck Health Care or SOS, who use the same Roche Diagnostics test method for the antibody tests. For instance, SOS offers Antistoftest (antibody test) with certificate (within 2 hours) at price of 385 DKK, but the price is 1,200 DKK with Airport Doctor."

Hello Wu,
No actually Your false remarks were removed! If You care to mention that You actually had Your refund even though it was delayed since You only provided half the information we needed for the bank transfer travellers could actually use the information trustpilot was meant to be "a support for all travellers" incl. me :-).
I know for a fact that the testing in the UK for China is much more expensive.
Regarding the pricing - we are a private clinic with no public funding. I´m happy that You mention the other clinics and since it is a free country nobody forced You to get tested at our facility. So please be real in Your description and promote good online behavior. / Sandra
