They introduced monthly fees without informing customers or obtaining their consent. Run away from this company if you don't want to lose your money one day!

We sent you various emails announcing the launch of the subscription model and providing instructions on how to cancel your account if you did not wish to subscribe to a plan at this point in time. We have provided a 1-month notice before the billing cycle started as per Airwallex's Treasury Management Terms to ensure customers could review the plans and make a decision in regards to the status of their account.

Very very very Unprofessional

I have never been doing business with such an unprofessional company. You guys keep putting me under holds for no reason. I have a 0.37% dispute rate and been a client for 4 months now. I have over 150k USD on hold and have a 55k OUTSTANDING SUPPLIER BILL. You guys are afraid that I don’t ship my goods to the customers BUT because of this I INDEED CAN’T SHIP. Please help me.

Account suspended with no notice and no reason.

Account suspended with no notice period. Be ware of this company. Despite repeated requests for reason for cancellation, no explanation is provided. If you are a business, just stay away from them. I am off to AFCA to lodge my complaint now. This company was a such a disappointment to deal with.

They are flat out ignoring me

They are flat out ignoring me. They are declining all of my charges without explanation. I've set up meetings with Richie Lawson to get on his calendar and he just flat out ghosts me. Incredibly unprofessional company. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.

I have never experienced worse service…

I have never experienced worse service than with Airwallex. The support doesn’t respond, even after sending over 10 emails. You wait weeks for a reply, and my account has been under review for over a month.

Meanwhile, my entire balance is withheld, and there’s no clear information about when I’ll have access to my funds again. These delays are unacceptable for a business that relies on its money to cover operating costs.

I cannot recommend Airwallex to anyone. If you’re looking for a reliable payment or banking solution, I suggest finding an alternative.

I see that you reply to other reviews, yet you still haven’t replied to me, neither through support nor here. If my case is resolved, I will update my reviews, but for now, I still have no response or solution, and all my money is frozen.

The support from Airwallex is terrible.

They take 2-3 weeks to respond, withhold your money for long periods, and don’t reply to emails. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. For businesses, this is absolutely not workable. If you make more revenue than expected, they will withhold your funds, ask for documents, and even after you provide them, the verification process can take an extremely long time—sometimes up to 3 months. I have never seen such poor service from a financial institution. I cannot recommend Airwallex to anyone. They are unreliable and can severely disrupt your business operations.

They blocked whole account

It was a great service, I had really no issues with Airwallex but recently they have suspended my whole account without even a notice. Support remains unresponsive and provides no info to what exactly has happened with just general responses that it will notify us for any further developments

This is just unacceptable and now our funds are frozen and they've supposed to be already moved into different places

But now we're stuck and we don't know when it will become active

This is crazy!! And unacceptable to treat small businesses like this

Run away from here

Good service until one day they suddenly suspend my account and freeze all the money I have. I contact support, and at first, they give me no explanation. Now, after two weeks, I’ve opened five tickets, and they haven’t responded to any of them. I have service expenses to pay, employees to take care of, etc., and I don’t have the cash flow to do so. My business is at a standstill because I trusted this bank. I worked very hard to earn my clients, but now I can’t continue offering my service, so I’m losing everything I worked so hard for this year. I’ll have to take out loans and go into debt until these useless people decide to unfreeze my money.

I'm doing e-commerce for 4 years with…

I'm doing e-commerce for 4 years with 6-figure revenues, but I'm not good enough for Airwallex apparently since they rejected me with no explanation. I just wanted to check if I can hook up a BNPL service to my stores. Just wasted time.

Suspend Company Account without consent…

Suspend Company Account without consent ,
Applicant beware this company.

I dial one of their customer service center and can't get though , now i have to wait for support chat to reply.
I never had that kind of bank service ever.

Well , will update if problem got solve, vary bad experience so far.

Time wasters

This business claims to unlock growth but in reality make it very hard to open an account. Fair enough that they follow KYC procedures but that should not mean that you can be wholly un-transparent with regard to your decisions, not have any appeal process and for no apparent reason decline accounts.
Faceless business, hiding behind internet walls so nobody has to accept any responsibility. Making life difficult for people wanting to be productive.

Go to a traditional bank and leave these type on so called providers well alone.

Dear Airwallex Management Team,

I am extremely frustrated with how my case has been handled. For 20 days, I have been waiting for an update regarding my restricted account, and I have received no response. I have contacted support daily, but I am being ignored.

Account Details:

Account Name: Molex Ecom Limited
Balance: Over €18,000, which has been frozen for 20 days
Background:
My account was restricted 20 days ago. Within 2 days, I submitted all the requested documents in full.
I have not conducted any improper or unauthorized activities with my account.
Despite contacting support every day, I have received no response or status update.
This delay is causing severe disruptions to my business:

Supplier invoices remain unpaid,
Operational expenses, such as advertising, cannot be covered,
Employee salaries cannot be paid.
My Demands:
Provide me with an immediate and clear update on the status of my account.
Share a specific timeline for when the account restrictions will be lifted.
Inform me if any additional documents or information are needed to expedite the process.
The way my case has been handled so far is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. I trusted Airwallex and have recommended your services, but this experience has severely shaken my confidence in your platform.

I urge you to treat this matter with the highest priority and provide a swift resolution. It is critical for my business to access these funds to meet my financial obligations.

I am extremely disappointNo response for over 20 days – very disappointinged with…

I am extremely disappointed with Airwallex. My account was restricted without any clear reason, and there is over €13,000 in it. I was asked to submit documents, which I provided immediately, but I have received no response for over 20 days.

As a business owner, I rely on this account to pay my suppliers, employees, and operating expenses. This delay has severely impacted my business. My suppliers are threatening to terminate our partnership, and I am unable to meet my obligations.

I understand that verifications are necessary, but waiting over 20 days without any update is unacceptable. I have tried contacting support multiple times, but I have not received any answers.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Airwallex to anyone under these circumstances. I hope the company finally addresses this issue and resolves my problem soon.

I made an online payment to Alipay paid…

I made an online payment to Alipay paid with an Airwallex card which was blocked during processing. I repeated the payment a second time and it suddenly blocked again without explanation. Airwallex took the money from my account without my money being sent to the recipient. I reported the problem to airwallex and they have not yet given me a precise and clear answer. I want the money that was improperly taken from me to be returned to me. Payments with Airwallex are not secure. I don't recommend doing trades with them.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. air walled australia suspended my account without notice and held my funds without permission. They then blamed the experience on the company name not having a pty Ltd in front of. This account I have transferred to zillions of times.

Once I challenged them, they told me I needed to invest in the increased subscription model to have the use of my account back.

Very shocked - account will be closed now and will take business elsewhere.

Airwallex will really put you in debt…

Airwallex will really put you in debt because of their unreasonable holds on your funds. Never use it. They have a lot of my money on hold. Their support is horrible—it’s like speaking to a wall.

They keep talking nonsense, saying they can’t provide the reason behind the hold, even though I have a 0% dispute rate and 0% fraudulent activities.

I advise anyone reading this comment not to open an Airwallex account. You probably need a bank or a processor and think you have a shot with Airwallex, but you will get screwed.

Airwallex support is nonexistent

Initially, Airwallex seemed like a great choice. However, the introduction of a monthly fee that was too high for a small business was a letdown. This led me to switch to Wise Business and close my account.

I've sent them three different requests to close my accounts down without a response. It's like they ignore my emails, or their support is nonexistent.

They keep charging my account with monthly fees. I've emailed them to close my account, but there has been no response. I've been trying to close my accounts since October.

For Australian customers, the only way to reach Airwallex is through a support ticket. There's no option to call or chat with them, leaving me no choice but to resort to leaving a review with my support ticket numbers.

Don't sign up with Airwallex; they have stupid fees!

Lousy, no-nonsense customer service

I have had my business account blocked for 3 weeks and every time I ask them to explain, they tell me they can't give me the reason because of privacy. They basically throttle your company money, they decide how and when to block it, without giving any explanation. I will never know when they will be unblocked, really bad experience, be careful.
