Just a suggestion for Albertsons' management: Would it be possible when hiring a new employee to do a 15 minute training session on how to bag groceries. I am tired of my bread being smashed & my egg... See more

Albertsons just screwed their customers…

Albertsons just screwed their customers again. They changed their rewards system June 1st. They have removed the 1,200 points gets you a $20.00 off a purchase and now give $10.00 for 1,000 points, no warning. Made a special trip to the store to get my last 23 points just to find that it was a waste of gas and time. Blindsided by Albertsons. I'll be shopping at their competitors from now on.

There app doesn't load promptly

There app doesn't load promptly. Sometimes it doesn't even load at all. Which I find off since their website works for the most part ... It's a shame the app doesn't function properly. Using that app would be more convenient and efficient.

the app has to be, at least, borderline fraudulent

The app loads on to my Android 7 phone that hasn't had an update since 2017 but is not available for my ne I pad, android 15. Obviously my ancient phone is going to have problems running it. So I go online on my PC and it just sits there refreshing the page over and over. If I get lucky enough to get in, I try to add something to my list and it says "session expired, please log in". So I do. Then I try to add something again and it does the same thing, over and over and over. The Albertson app is a hoax and likely, at minimum, bordering on fraudulent. Their prices insinuate they believe their products are lined with gold. $3-$5 more than anywhere else. Where I live, I only have 3 choices to shop. It wants me to put a specific date but this has been an issue for a long time.

Albertsons for U coupons scam

Been shopping at Albertsons almost exclusively for 5+ years since moving to Idaho. They dominate the area here. Was aware their prices are higher (Fred Meyer matches them), so became a member to take advantage of coupons.

Noticed recently, although I clipped their coupons on their site, it was not included at the register. Last week a coupon offered $10 off $10 or more of purchased produce. Thought it a mistake so I went to customer service and asked. They said it was legit. Get home, look at my receipt, it’s not there.

I truly believe their coupons are a scam. Will not buy from them again.

CRIMINALS !

I had groceries delivered one time and accidentally somehow pressed a fresh pass button the charges me $12.99 a month and has been doing so for over a year I've never used it since the first time I've counseled it at least four or five times yet here I just find out I'm still being charged $12.99 every month. I don't understand why such a large corporation has to be such a rip off and steal money this way they obviously have their fresh pass button to join in a place where it can be accidentally hit as many websites are designed this way purpose and to cause confusion to customers pretty low life way of doing business. I do not recommend this store due to their business practices and their lack of morals.

HORRIBLE 1601 S Melrose Dr, Vista Store Delivery

At the 1601 S Melrose Dr, Vista store - HORRIBLE delivery and refund experience!

I placed a grocery delivery order on 12/22 for a dinner party on 12/24. The delivery arrived without the main item—the standing rib roast. As a result, I had to place a second order the following day just for that missing item.

I requested a refund for the missing item ($89.97) on 12/24/2025. I was initially told to wait one week. When I followed up, I was informed that the refund had been approved and was “pending store approval,” and I was asked to check back again the following week.

As of today, 1/16/2026, the refund is still pending—nearly three weeks later.

I have been using your delivery service regularly over the past few months, but this experience has been extremely disappointing. A missing main item and a three-week delay on a confirmed refund is unacceptable, and it has caused me to lose confidence in continuing to use this service.

ATROCIOUS!

I moved to Oceanside in June 2021 I’ve…

I moved to Oceanside in June 2021 I’ve been shopping including delivery for 90% of my shopping 1500 per month.. emphasis on Oceanside location have fabulous crew. They’ll go extra mile for their customers.. stark contrast to corporate. They refuse credit 3 hour late delivery plus am incomplete order. I told corporate they would be nowhere without store personnel. I advise people go straight to the store if they were to be treated with the courtesy and respect, they deserve. I certify
this is true and correct.Josiane Breton.

On October 18

On October 18, 2025 I had ordered a hefty amount from Albertsons via the app. As they’re “approaching” with my order, I can see on the map thing on the app that they’re having issues either finding parking, or they realize I don’t have a car so that mean I don’t have the key for the gate therefore they’d have to actually park their car and bring in my groceries in the front of my apt. Instead of calling me like Albertsons has you leave your number and any details needed for the driver to be able to find exactly where I’m at… they panicked and they literally dropped it off to the apt #41 that’s down my street. I’m disabled. So when I talk to customer service they tell me that my refund request is denied and to go around my neighborhood and literally ask if my order was dropped off there. I talk to customer service AGAIN a couple days later and they said they approved my refund request. Nothing. I STILL haven’t received my 187 dollars back NOR my groceries or even an apology for their crappy service.

The company is rotten

The company is rotten. They hire staff for new stores and hire people who are told they are full time, which is what people need. Then after a few months they start cutting hours 40 turns into 35. 35 turns into 20. 20 turns into 10 or 5.
They kill their morale, run off the glue and talent they hired on. And leave their department managers left to fill in all the holes they created which is unrealistic. Then the highest paid person in the department ends up working 60 hours a week in an attempt to keep their department from falling apart due to half the hours being sliced. Then they blame the managers for A. Working too many hours and B. For the problems and lack of consistency in their department when everything was to their standard before they butchered peoples livelihoods.
Albertsons will also cut these hours through ALL departments , even the departments whos labor is well below projections. Their logic is the stores labor is too high and instead of focusing cuts in the departments whos labor is high they cut across all departments. So if for example, the meat department and bakery department have 20% or less labor on average, but stupid starbucks has 75-100% labor costs, they ruin the parts of the store that matter to carry crap no one cares about. This kills the customer experience and the exact reason I drive an hour to shop at HEB when im 10 minutes from Albertsons. This company will always be third string with the leadership the corporate office exhibits. Happy employees make happy customers.

Online delivery never arrived

Online delivery never arrived, went to bed hungry.

Friday October 24th

At 7pm, the driver is about 5 minutes away. So I go outside to wait for the driver. At 7:14pm I get an alert that my order has been delivered and I am still outside waiting until 7:30pm.

My kids pretty much went to bed Friday night hungry because albertsons was a no show.

Shame on the albertsons driver...

I will have words with the manager Saturday morning now I see why albertsons has so many bad reviews.

It's 5:15am and we have nothing to eat.

I love the store and the people

I love the store and the people. The app sucks. I can't even count how many times I have clipped a coupon, cashed in points, or saw a discounted item on the shelf, only to find it at the standard price on the receipt when I got home. Going back to the store to get my $3 off eggs or $1 off a loaf of bread, or my free 24 pack of water, is a hassle, but I have done it, just because it irritated me so much. How about just give the discount if you have a phone number in the system, Is that too hard?
