Still waiting for a refund
Still waiting for a refund. The state of the order in the web shows as change/refund, not closed order even though you had the shoes back on the 27th of march, almost a month ago. I did not have a email confirming you are refunding me and your costumer services are ignoring me in all your platforms. I have the screenshots and the emails to prove it. If you don’t want to refund me I want my shoes back, worth 110.85£. I am gonna report the case to the french SignalConso and also here in the Uk to ECC, I hope it resolves soon.

Delivery by UPS is terrible all other…
Delivery by UPS is terrible all other are able to deliver. UPS not, you have to collect and they do update u when the pacy is available for pick up… please use dhl for delivery in Germany

Terrible. Charged for the boots and delivery then expected to pay £92 import tax. This should be clear at time of purchase / advertised. It is not so false advertisement. Be warned

"As of January 1, 2021, VAT and administrative fees apply as follows:
- Orders under £135: Local VAT is paid directly when ordering on our website. Only administrative fees may be charged (£5 for DPD and £11 for DHL).
- Orders over £135: Local VAT must be paid upon delivery to the carrier, along with additional administrative fees (£5 for DPD and £20 for UPS)."

Scarpa Hiking boots
I ordered a pair of Scarpa Ribelle Hiking boots, and was slightly sceptical at first, having read many negative reviews, but also many positive reviews. However the price was superb, and I aso considered paying with PayPal and the security and protection being in place. The website is very comprehensive and a lot of small print. Do your research on any additional import taxes. My shoes included everything in a total price, so no additional import charges.
I ordered the boots, and had an order accepted receipt and PayPal receipt, which was helpful, however I went 7 days without hearing anything, other than order was going through quality control. This seemed unusual, as order was accepted. On the 7th day, order showed out for delivery with carrier, so this was all reassuring. Order finally delivered on day 12. All in all, very happy just had to sit tight. But yes I would recommend

Beware of shipping to the US
The original shipping estimate was $52.36, and I had to pay an additional $44.00 to UPS when it arrived. The Supreme court declared the tariffs illegal so I'm not sure what this charge is for and why it wasn't included. In total it cost $96 in shipping for a small box that weighs than 1 kilo.
The order was processed fast and sent fast.

"Since August 29, 2025, the exemption from duties and taxes for shipments to the United States under $800 has been suspended. A 15% customs fee is therefore automatically applied, in addition to a $20 customs clearance fee charged by the carrier."
Your order totals $231.84, so the customs fees are correct.

The shipping to abroad was not set up properly
The shipping to abroad was not set up properly on the website; it even showed as free, although in the end it could only be ordered for an additional fee. As a result, the actual processing of my order was delayed. However, they corrected the error once I reported the issue.
