Unless you want an influx of ads and targeted marketing from apple and/or other major technology and online media players, never give positive feedback on anything. No good deed goes unpunished.

NEVER BUY APPLE ONLINE!!!

I have had a shocking experience with the apple store in Australia. First the order came 5 days later than expected although I paid for express postage. I found that the order was coming China and not locally. I wrote an email to customer support to say I needed it earlier as it was a birthday present. After weeks I have still not received a reply.
Then instead of arriving at my elderly parents house as a birthday gift, depending on where your look- Australia post, the courier or apple it is either stuck somewhere far from the home address for the customer to pick it up ( my parents are in the 80s) or it says that the delivery address could not be found.
I received a mail saying I would receive a refund and I have still not received it.
This is horrendous service. NEVER BUY APPLE ONLINE!!!

I purchased an IPAD back in 2021 and it will now not power on or charge at all. Apple did a test and don't know why this happened and found no sign of misuse. They offered me a replacement at $400 and I refused as it is only 3 years old. I took it further with APPLE and they rejected it. So they basically told me that 3 years is reasonable durability for an ipad to last. I paid $646 for this product and I would expect it to last a lot longer than 3 years. I know people who have older Ipads that still work. If this is there attitude then I will re think purchasing another apple product in the future.

I bought a 9th generation for 450 a year later the screen broke and I was quoted 440 to fix it. This is to force people into. Buy a new ipad just to fix it. I guess if they can get their coltan from Congo where women and children. Are dying what would I expect. Horrible human beings who are left to dry you of every cents.

Disappointed with Apple

Firstly, I requested a battery replacement for my iPad Pro, which goes flat within an hour of normal use. Despite this clear performance issue, Apple rejected to replace the battery because it did not meet their criteria of <80% performance. Dodgy diagnostic programming by Apple here...

Secondly, I was shocked to learn that replacing the batteries for my AirPods costs $80 for each side. This only forces you to reconsider buying a new pair as replacing the batteries for both AirPods is $160. Apple is pushing customers towards buying new devices through planned obsolescence, which is simply a strategy to rip people off. The new devices they release now lack any real technological or innovative advancements. They merely come with a new name and shell, at a higher price.

Lastly, I’ve experienced poor compatibility with aftermarket accessories, which do not work well with Apple products. From connectivity issues, intermittent charges pauses or things just don't work, Apple is programmed to not work well with non-Apple items so that customers are forced to buy only Apple products.

Overall, my experiences with Apple have been disappointing, and I'm done buying their products after 14+ years of loyalty (or stupidity). Judging from all the reviews I've been reading here and other platforms, a lot more people feel the same. Time to retire Mr Cook!

My iPhone 15 only lasted a few weeks.

My iPhone 15 only lasted a few weeks.

Then started getting increasing problems with the jack connection. Music would just stop playing on headphones. The phone would stop charging when plugged in. Problem getting worse and worse.

Went into the local Apple Store and they said I’d have to leave the dodgy phone with them for 2 days while they ordered the part. They just didn’t care when I said I used and needed the phone.

Solution is to pay a non Apple repairer $250 to fix the phone promptly.

Left with feeling my iPhone 15 is poorly made and Apple after sales warranty service even worse. But Apple just does not care selling bad products or offering bad service.

Apple gift card for everything is not true

I bought Apple gift card because they advertised that The gift card for everything Apple. But when I want to use for paying on Apple Care it is not allow, I did contact Apple support they informed that the gift card is not for Apple Care. I am so disappointed now I feel I am cheating by their ads for Everything Apple, Apple Care is belong Apple not the third party but not valid.
Maybe I will contact ACCC Australian Consumer Commission for customer rights when Apple ads is not true.

Technician sold on Apple products.

I own an iMac, MacBook Pro, iPhone SE and Apple Watch. I worked for 10 years maintaining, building and repairing computers, PC and Mac. Today, as an arts professional, I wouldn't use anything else. There products are top class, hardware and software, and they look after their products if they happen to fail. For Graphics, Photography, Music and Film, you can't go past an Apple product. They are not cheap, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for.

Where are negative stars?

Where are negative stars?
Apparently the phone support isn’t aware of the in-store service policies…!!! The phone support sent me to the store for fixing the issues with my Beats Fit Pro but the technician without even looking at them said that,”we don’t fix them here & will need to send them to the service centre”. When I asked him that why did the call centre not tell me that, he replied that they are independent of us and may not be aware of this. His attitude was very cocky while he did that. He was like this is our policy, take it or leave it. What a waste of time.

Apple may be one of the largest companies out there but should remember that it’s customers like us who make it that large. I guess it’s time to return to Windows & Android.

APPLE....DOES ANYONE REALLY NEED YOU???

Recently noticed numerous "in app perchases" on my Apple account located in transaction history from two months in 2013 for AUD$1189.60. Numerous calls to Apple support (Australia) whom were very sympathetic but they were quick to handball back to my bank ANZ and then to the app developer (in Europe) who when contacted and supplied with transaction receipts handballed back to Apple & then my bank...! Its a huge loss for me and reinstated my lack of trust in any transaction when no one will even put their hand up & claim responsibility let alone negotiate any remuneration whatsoever! I deserve better and you most certainly do! BE VERY CAREFULL....APPLE WILL ONLY REFUND UP TO 60 DAYS NO MATTER WHAT!!
IM ASHAMED OF BEING SO LOYAL TO THEIR COMPANY...

Future purchases include the Airpod Max, an iMac, and an upgrade to the M1 iPad Pro 12.9 "conceivably the following-generation iPad Mini for travel; iPhone 13 Pro Max (tough I may wait for the next gen).
