Dont reserve with AutoEurope!
We had the worse experience on car rental in Portugal and even worse with customers support. We booked a car via their site, but our flight was cancelled and we reached the morning after (our car was booked for 11:30pm). We tried to reach them multiple times via phone, but not autoeurope neither the supplier picked up (even if was still in the office opening hours).
When we reached (10 hours after original time) we got to know that they cancelled our prepaid booking, and the contact center of autoeurope told us that they could not reopen the existing reservation, but we should PAY AGAIN the same car we had already paid, but NO WORRIES, it was only a Technicality and they would for sure reimburse the original booking. We trusted them, big mistake, they are now refusing to refund us with any type of weird and not applicable to this case answers. (Just To list the last one they are saying “you should have cancelled 2 days before booked time” ). Spend something more but book with a more professional company.
