It is a nightmare having to go through this firm to buy a property. Totally disappointed with the solicitor I am using! No documents received associated to the property which completed a year ago, still chasing after my solicitor. Yet I was told everything is done electronically and shouldn’t be getting any hard copies which is a BS. Land registration...title deed....nothing!!!
Axiom Stone have been the sole and root cause of possibly the most pointlessly stressful experience of my entire life. Moving house is already difficult and they have turned it into a hellish nightmare. They have been immensely unresponsive, barely answering the phone and only replying to emails after multiple day delays. They have also displayed a stunning lack of planning bordering on incompetence, having not prepared critical legal paperwork until well after it is far too late to meet deadlines. They have personally cost me significant sums of money by missing these deadlines, with no excuse given whatsoever as to why they, with ample warning and weeks to prepare, gave no indication whatsoever that these deadlines would be missed. They need to be chased for every minor update, never volunteering information on their own. Even on the very rare instance of actually talking to them, they are actively unhelpful, obfuscating critical details to give themselves more time to waste. For these reasons I would heartily recommend that you never even consider giving them a penny of your money, as the service I have seen then render (such as it was) has been extraordinarily sub-par.
