Two weeks Bachata holidays in the Dominican Republic with full immersion to authentic culture, music and dance. In comparison to bachata festivals, bachata camp has a family feeling. We work in small groups up to 15 people, leave together, travel around the country, pay a lot of attention to the quality of education and the results that our students reach. But the same time it is fun and full of new experiences! In BailaMar Bachata Camp program: * About 30 hours of dance classes: bachata, merengue, bolero, music etc. * Paradise beaches! Fabulous dance camp experience
Fabulous dance camp experience. Maria and Alex are the perfect hosts. We enjoyed a family style life, living and dancing together in a tight knit group. Teaching quality was diverse and excellent. It was super fun and educational, for dancing, dining, beaches, and social connection. Highly recommended. This has been my THIRD camp experience. I had to come back!

Great way to soak up some sun while also immersing yourself in the culture
it was a really great experience to be able to immerse mysel in the dance culture and explore the island. The organisers provided a really welcoming atmosphere and had a very good knowledge. The groups were not too big, which allowed for a very personal feel and building genuine connections with fellow dancers.

Amazing Bachata holiday!
I found Bailamar on Facebook in 2022 while looking for Bachata events in the Dominican Republic. They appear to be the most consistent ones, running 4 events a year. I followed them on Facebook and Instagram during their October 2022 camp, and it looked to me that participants were having lots of fun. So I took the plunge and registered for the February 2023 camp. It was one of the best travel decisions I ever took! We were a group of 15 people from all over the world, different ages, different cultural backgrounds, but what united us was our love for dancing! I learnt so much about the Dominican culture, the dances, all the little details you can only learn from an experienced tour guide. And Maria was amazing - knowledgeable, patient and caring. She made sure that each one of us had the best time. I can’t recommend Bailamar experience highly enough, it is once in a lifetime experience, but be quick - their trips get fully booked.

Authentic bachata experience, like no other!
I had the absolute best time at the 26th edition of the BailaMar bachata camp in February 2023! From the wonderfully handmade traditional, delicious meals every day, to the intense bachata (and some other dance styles) classes, the experience was unforgettable. Maria ensured that the group enjoyed the best the Dominican Republic had to offer, and I am so grateful to have had her on this trip. I would highly recommend this camp for anyone that is interested in learning traditional bachata, as well as understanding the culture behind the music. Looking forward to coming back and doing it all over again!
