Bech helps us to keep our accounts Up-To-Date and at the end of the year we get our yearly report to submit to out Auditors for final tax preparation.

Really seamless experience. Bench is the software to go for if you are looking for a completely hands off experience in bookkeeping. The team takes great care in ensuring that everything is top notch and accurate. I'm beyond happy with my experience so far with Bench. The customer support team and bookkeeping team are super responsive, and usually get back within the same business day, unless the request is really complex. I would recommend Bench to everyone!
Love the technology integrations with all major banks, so that the bank statements and credit card transactions get imported automatically, without needing to manually upload these every month.

This company has made my tax year pretty much completely stress free for the last 2 years. Prior to this, I experienced handling things on my own with a private bookkeeper and CPA. They were both quickly overwhelmed with the abundence of Amazon documents, the amazon platform, and how all ecommerce platforms link up and share data and spreadsheets with one another. Bench has a team that specializes in handling this and this type of activity does not phase them in the least. I have had organized P & L's delivered to me at the end of each year, and all my tax filing is taken care of by them. I know that in the rare instance that I get audited, I have this team behind my back as proof that I did things properly. Absolutely worth the stress free headache.

It is such a relief to know that my books are being taken care of. In the past I have had poor experiences with people who were “book keepers” but had no idea what they were doing or did not complete the task in a timely manner. I love the quick responses from my team at bench and it is so easy to get documents to them. I was hesitant at first because of the price but it really is worth every penny.

I have worked with several Bench reps since I opened my account and so far, they have all been very helpful with my requests. My particular business handles foreign currencies and multiple bank accounts and they have been able to handle them all. They have also made the process easy and quick to identify business transactions which has been super helpful for me as I don't have to invest lots of time and effort in ensuring they do a good work. Definitely recommend.

They are very easy to communicate with and let you know what they need and when they need it. Sometime the information is not up to date and takes a long time to present accurately. For the most part, it is going well and they will be extremely helpful once tax season rolls around to help us with all of that!

This has been the most horrifying experience dealing with this company. I’ve gone through at least 4 book keepers who have all in some way or form made significant mistakes on my books which I have pointed out time and time again. Book keepers are always “leaving” which speaks volumes. I signed up for their new promotion since I was an already a member and I waited nearly almost 4 months for them to start my conversion process and nothing had been done. Im so frustrated with the way I’ve been treated and feel they really don’t care. I am just another number to them. I do not recommend this company going forward. They might seem nice and pristine on the outside but their services are not! Please take your money elsewhere!

Our current Bench bookkeeper is incapable of keeping the books current. We're nearly 3 months behind now. It's become a disaster for us, and there's no easy way to report these types of issues to managers at Bench.

Paid the subscription for an entire year and the additional fee for the catch up service. I was promised complete catch up in 6 weeks. It took nearly 10 months (subscription started September 29, 2022; reports were emailed July 6, 2023). I honestly don't know when or if I would have received my year end reports had I not kept asking for them. The lack of communication made me think Bench was a scam.
There were numerous "bookkeepers" assigned to my account. Lots of excuses from "bookkeeper" why it was not yet completed (sick, husband sick, baby sick, I'm new, lots of entries to go through). Asked them to make notes to my account so they would not keep asking the same questions or for certain documents. This would have saved them and me time ... they did not.
This was supposed to save me time. It ended up being a nightmare. Cost me more time, an enormous amount of frustration, not to mention, the money.
As a result of the poor service received, will not be renewing my subscription.

The first year I used Bench I was very happy and had no doubt’s I would use them again. However, this year I have been so stressed and frustrated. There has been a lack of communication, my first agent left at the beginning of tax season, incorrect information including my address on my tax return, lost paperwork (I had to download documents multiple times), promises made and then not followed through with. I spoke with an about canceling and I am going to broach that subject again. I have no faith anymore and plan to use a program on my own.

Bench Tax has been fantastic for me. I have a small business and file my personal return jointly, so my taxes are fairly difficult to work out but I don't have the budget for an accounting department.
Bench Tax solves that problem: they're very responsive to questions and updates, despite serving a large, remote clientele. It's perfect for somebody with a small business, or for someone who does a lot of freelance work.

Really solid option for small business owners. I get pretty up to date books and its far less than hiring a bookkeeper in house or even as a contractor. Tax time is easy peasy with a nice, detailed financial package you can go to your CPA or just use TurboTax business like I do!
