This company has been a complete waste of our time, we have been strung along for months trying to purchase our first house, with little to no communication (unless we called them) to be told yesterday by email, that the company is closing and they wouldn’t do any more work to help finalise the purchase.

Sam and her team made our house transfer really easy. They were always able to be contacted and were all really helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a good solicitor. I was informed of all the pros and cons of of my particular situation and was put at ease immediately. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

Do not hesitate to use Brooks and Partners for your legal requirements. In particular Sam Cornell and her team for all conveyancing matters. We received a first class service both in the selling and purchasing of our properties. We were dealt with so professionally and courteously at all times and made to feel it was very personal to us. As with all house sales and purchases it is fraught at times and it was then we most needed Sam and her colleagues and they dispense not disappoint us.

Wow! Samantha Cornell dealt with our first house and made it all so straight forward easy and relaxing for us! Samantha went above and behond to get our first house done and! Samantha made us feel reassured and calm when asking any questions about the house even if we felt it was a silly question! If you are looking for a solicitor you need to run not walk and get in contact with her! Everything done in a month!! I'll be going straight back to them for any other solicitor needs!!!!

On the whole we were more than happy with Brooks & Partners who dealt with our selling and buying process.
There were a couple of things that we didn't like, but it was then, and still is now, a Covid world, so we feel Brooks & Partners did a very good job.Our contact was Samantha, we felt happy and comfortable dealing with her,all we needed was explained, and she did everything she could to help us with the challenges that arose.
We did feel communication could of been more forthcoming, we would like to of been contacted a bit more often, but we had to call once or twice a week to see if there had been progress. This may not be a single person's responsibility, as they use a system called Hoowla, a software programme that should keep you updated ,but of course this needs to be updated by someone. We completed our sale, and purchase in December, earlier for our sale, but the Hoowla system still shows unfinished or incomplete items, this concerned us a bit at first as we don't move often, and didn't know if we had do do anything, but we can now see, it just doesn't get updated or filled out. On the whole we are happy with Brooks & Partners, and what they achieved in the circumstances, and would certainly recommend their services to all.

We used this firm in a recent property transaction mainly as they have been our family solicitor for decades. They were friendly, professional and efficient throughout the transaction and their fees were competive.

Sam was professional throughout, she was attentive and thorough, and although clearly busy she responded to my requests promptly. On a more personal level, she was fun and a pleasure to work with. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

In response to that initial query and simply out of courtesy, I was swiftly emailed a crucial Land Registry document that I'd been unable to find.

Five years later, on seeking further advice regarding the same issue, the Brooks team obligingly resumed our email conversation. Their various responses were again prompt, detailed and courteous, with enough volunteered information to enable a good understanding of my legal situation.

House Sale for Deputies
I am a deputy for my mum who suffers from Dementia and have had to sell her house to pay for her care. Nitasha was just great - especially under the current conditions and the sale has gone through much faster than I expected.
