Somewhat mixed feelings but overall positive shopping experience
It’s was an overall interesting experience. I’ve place an order for a sigma 90mm f2.8 on 5th Dec, and the noticed that the latest Trustpilot reviews were 2 yrs old.
I couldn’t find any shipping time on their website so I was a little bit worried and I tried sending them a message through their website and calling them, but no response.
On 7 Dec, the company reached out to me and asked for proof of address via bank statements or utility bills due to “ Your payment has been flagged by the processing company due to an issue with your payment card or a mismatch of data supplied with the order.” (not sure if that’s a common practice but it’s my first time receiving these kind of email, and this feel a little suspicious because my bank payment has just changed from pending to confirmed).
Despite that kerfuffle, I’ve received the item on the 12th Dec in new condition. Not entire sure what exactly happened, but I’m happy with the end result.
