Onboarding

Excellent support during the initial onboarding phase (Ludwig), including a trial period. Any further delays were on our end. Follow-up and good, regular communication. (Chris)

Overcharged for 2 years

Overcharged for 2 years — then a month of empty promises on the refund

We're a Hungary-based business on CloudTalk's Essential plan, which is advertised as including unlimited domestic calls across the EU, UK, Iceland and Norway. Despite that, we were charged call credits for nearly every Hungary-to-Hungary call from the day we signed up — roughly €2,200 over two years. We discovered this ourselves; CloudTalk never flagged it.

When we reported it on 15 May, a support agent confirmed the misconfiguration, corrected it on the spot, and opened a ticket (#528124) to handle the historical overcharges. Since then it has been nothing but delays. We've been told on three separate occasions that a manager or supervisor would contact us "today," or that the case was "under review" — and each time, nothing followed.

We even offered the simplest possible resolution: just apply the overcharged amount as credit against our annual renewal, so no money would have to leave their account. Still no decision.

Nearly a month on: no refund, no credit, no concrete answer. The product itself may work, but if your billing goes wrong, be prepared to chase them indefinitely. Deeply disappointing from a company that markets itself on transparent pricing.

Very very pleased with CloudTalk

Very very pleased with CloudTalk. It has everything that I need to speak with international clients. Above all else, customer service is the best I have ever experienced in any software, service or tool. Any issues, I can open a chat and speak with an agent within 2 minutes and my query is solved. Leading the standard in customer service.

This is DESIGNED for cold calling

This is DESIGNED for cold calling
If you run a cold calling team or do cold calling yourself, I'd strongly recommend cloudtalk. It's quite literally built for it, from quality, to metric tracking to visibility and connecting to different softwares. The support is also amazing. Fast and effective

A few bugs I ran into:
1. It seemed to add "sale(s)" when I hadn't clicked it
2. When checking my metrics for a specific campaign, if I add my own little widgets e.g "hung up", they wouldn't show and it would sometimes mix them up
3. It's quite exact when importing leads. It has to be a very specific format, which can make it quite a headache

These are very minor, and other than that, no complaints

Does what it should do, but lacking in documentation and support

The product does what it should do, but it's not very clear when you need to upgrade to use certain features - i.e. you can go through the full process of setting up automations, it doesn't stop you, they just silently fail and you have no way to know why. The customer service so far hasn't helped once we figured out we needed to upgrade. The documentation isn't great either. E.g. nowhere in the documentation does it say that you need to have their AI plan to do simple voice to text, and now that we're facing issues with voice to text not identifying who is speaking properly their support tell us that we need to upgrade (again) and have since gone silent for over a week after I asked for more info.

Happy with overall service

Happy with overall service, helps manage the team, i like the text message features, and call management options. Its always nice to also be able to go and play back calls.

We recently switched over to CloudTalk…

We recently switched over to CloudTalk from a different provider and It has been great. The UI is much better than our last provider. There are a couple features that we used to have that I wish we did in CloudTalk, but I can live without them. If I could give 4.5 or 4.75 stars I would.

Reliable

I tried many apps for virtual numbers, but non was as reliable as Cloudtalk, I use now for business, I think me and my team will stick with it.
I experienced a bug in the past, but now everything is fine, they address issues fast.

I have used VOIP for my business for years and used many different companies but Cloud Talk has been a much better experience than the others i have used and is pretty user friendly. Its great that you can send sms messages too! Analytics are very good when you have a growing team.

Good Customer Service

Cloudtalk has great features for a reasonable price.
The dashboard is easy to navigate.
I did occure a few glitches / issues during my initial trial however the customer service team is great and responsive. They resolved my issues quickly and kept me in the loop the whole time.
Over all great experience.
