We arranged our move in March but only…

We arranged our move in March but only moved at the end of October. At every stage of the move everyone was very helpful. The move itself was very competent-staff always helpful even though we were stuck in a traffic jam for 5 hours! Would recommend!!

Excellent customer service from start…

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Laura, Tom & Chris were really friendly & helpful with the itinerary & moving dates which we had to change a few times. On the day of the move the men arrived on time and both men were very well organised, friendly and were speedy with moving the furniture etc. Everything about the house move by Daleysmove was commendable; both in the Office and on the day. I would highly recommend their services as the move was made more manageable and pleasant by all their actions and communications. Thank you to everyone.

Useless

Oh well where to start.

Vehicle broke down and was towed back to Warrington Thurs 15th April. Told on morning of Friday 16th then told we couldnt get half of our two van move till the follwing Thursday. This included our suite so were being told we would have nothing to sit on for SIX days. Eventually got it delivered on Tuesday after being transhipped to another vehicle.

Then the fun started.....

Picture frames broken, clips removed from a unit to hold a shelf in, now missing, set of steps missing, power washer parts missing, sofa frame twisted, crystalware broken and so it goes on.

Contacted Daleysmove, (Movesquad) and told 7-10 days for them to investigate. That was nearly two months ago. Emails go unreplied! Calls not returned. Payment HAS to be made up front so when they make a mess of it they can cheerfully ignore you.

Have now taken advice and will be proceeding down other avenues on Monday to regain some recompense for the stress they have caused along with the broken/damaged/missing items.

Seriously, I dont know where all these glowing recommendations come from judging from our and others reviews on other pages

Avoid at all costs if you want your belongings delivered the way you handed them to Daleys!!

Good, but needs more work to be great

The guys helped us move during COVID lockdown - not an easy task! We booked the full pack service a couple of months in advance however, the squad were apparently only told the night before by the office that it was a full pack job so they were a little unprepared. Not their fault and is down to lack of organisation from the office side of things. The guys were polite and respectful of our new home - putting blankets down on the stairs to keep the carpets protected. They are clearly really hard workers and just got stuck in which was much appreciated. There were a couple of breakages - a light bulb from the bookcase and a bedside lamp but overall they took great care of our things. One criticism is that towards the end of the day (they finished around 5pm), they started to rush moving stuff into the new place and quite a large number of boxes that were labelled clearly with the room they should have gone to, ended up downstairs in the nearest room to the door. A little disappointing. Also, I took the time before the move to label things in my old home that weren’t going to the corresponding room in the new house. Half the guys paid attention to this and despite me pointing them out, half the guys ignored these and packed according to the room instead - again a little disappointing given what I had paid. Overall, I probably would recommend Daley’s again, though the service received didn’t live up to their claims on the website. Needs a bit of honing to be truly great.

Great staff - highly recommend

The staff are fantastic! Nothing was too much hassle for them. When they say they don't pester, I can fully attest that this is true. I called in Nov 2020 to get a quote, they gave me the quote and left me be to go back to them at a later date if I wished to do so. Honest and trustworthy company. Fully recommend!

Excellent Service

From booking the removal to the move day the service was great and pain free. On moving day the team arrived on time and had the vans loaded within a few hours. Really helpful, polite and professional.

Second to none.

I had excellent service and communication with Daleysmove. We booked and paid for our house move back in March - move of 100 miles. Lockdown happened within a week of our move and I had to postpone. After lockdown lifted we set another date which had to be rearranged twice more due to unforeseen problems with the people we were buying our house from. Everyone I dealt with at Daleysmove was very understanding and helpful and got us there when our problems were sorted.
Very reasonable price too.
Highly recommend recommend.
