Generally positive
I disagree with many of the negative ratings on here, but can understand some of the disappointment. We have several engagements with Deloitte UK and are pleased with our consultants' work. For some projects they are too pricey, but others require the assurance they offer to regulated companies.
Failure to Protect 1,300 Children's Education in Sri Lanka
Deloitte Sri Lanka has been appointed as the liquidator of The Finance Company, under which Telford International School (TIS) in Galle, Sri Lanka, operates. While their mandate relates to the financial liquidation process, their lack of attention to the educational welfare of over 1,300 children enrolled at this school is deeply concerning.
Under Deloitte's oversight, the school has continued to deteriorate rapidly. Deloitte has mismanaged experienced teachers, lowered academic standards, and failed to meet the school's basic operational needs. Despite repeated requests from the TIS Protection Parents' Collective for meaningful dialogue, parents have been directed toward lengthy court processes rather than constructive discussions.
We urge Deloitte, a respected firm, to engage transparently and compassionately with parents regarding the futures of their children.

Deloitte built a website for DePaul University. The public facing website is so terrible as to be unuseful. It is all about pictures and videos. There is almost no useful information available on the site. There are dead links everywhere. The search option sometimes results in non-sensical destinations. The information on departments and degree programs is incomplete and sometimes wrong. The result is a standardized, sterile web presence that tells a viewer nothing about what makes DePaul unique, why anyone would bother to enroll there. This is one star, only because zero stars are not an option. The company should be ashamed of the product.

Hostile, Intimidating, and Completely Misaligned With Its Values
This was, without exaggeration, one of the most toxic and unsettling workplaces I have experienced.
Behind the polished branding and endless talk of “values,” Deloitte Consulting felt hostile, intimidating, and deeply hypocritical. Employees were routinely made to feel disposable. In my experience, communications around money—whether related to benefits, exits, or internal policies—were handled in a way that felt aggressive and threatening rather than professional. Instead of clarity or support, fear was used as a management tool.
The power imbalance was obvious and unapologetic. Question decisions, raise concerns, or ask for fairness, and you quickly learn that silence and compliance are what’s actually rewarded. Leadership talks about integrity, but accountability seems to exist only for those at the bottom.
What made this even worse was the firm’s performative approach to “culture” and recruitment. So-called engagement and networking initiatives felt careless and exclusionary, with little regard for personal, cultural, or religious boundaries. Rather than creating an inclusive workplace, these choices sent a clear message: adapt, stay quiet, or don’t belong here.
The constant disconnect between Deloitte’s public image and internal reality is exhausting. Ethics are marketed aggressively, but when they become inconvenient, they are quietly sidelined. Burnout is normalized. Concerns are dismissed. And the brand name is used as a shield against criticism.
I would strongly warn anyone considering Deloitte Consulting—especially early-career professionals—to think very carefully. Ask uncomfortable questions. Get everything in writing. And do not assume that a big name guarantees professionalism or respect.
In my experience, it does not.
Utter frustration…
I am writing this to express my utter frustration and dissatisfaction with the current state of Deloitte’s tax declaration service. The lack of communication regarding the progress of my filing, combined with inexcusably slow internal processes, has become completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, their platform was updated and moved without any prior notice. This transition has rendered my existing login credentials useless, resulting in a blocked account and zero access to my sensitive financial data.
Deloitte Luxembourg
Deloitte Luxembourg - Extremely slow and no detailed advice
We cooperated with Deloitte's Luxembourg office . They promised the involved law firm each week over a 10 week-period that they deliver their advice on Friday of the respective week. Finally, they delivered only superficial comments with caveats on Friday before Christmas when people left for the holiday season. This behaviour is not professional. As a result, I had to cancel my holidays in the week of Christmas to get things done.
I worked for Deloitte Israel (HRT / Tel Aviv)
I worked for Deloitte Israel (Tel Aviv branch) at the HRT (Human Resource Transformation). The management was manipulative - the chief architect and the partner were both manipulative and they were liars. The chief architect made the career coaching thing an incentive to make me work extra hours, and work even on holidays to leave a good impression on the client. Turns out that the transitioning to the new job wasn't even possible, and that he double crossed me, both him (the chief architect and the partner gave different versions - giving a good clue that they made stuff up and didn't even bother to coordinate versions because they're so st**id.
At the end, when they wanted to terminate me, the chief architect mocked me and humiliated me in front of the other collogues, in the hopes that I would lash out at him, in a way that would allow him to legally deny paying termination funds when I'm gone. Thankfully I didn't lash out, but the attempt and that the HR kept defending him and denying his mocking made me second guess the morals of this department, and all I got is that they are greedy for money. This case was worth filing a complaint about in the police department and to sue this company, but I felt so sorry for such low moral levels that I've decided to spare them, but will never work there again.

I engaged consultants from Deloitte's Human Capital division in Israel (they go by the name "Human Resource Transformation", some outsourcing division) The consultants seem unprofessional, the service is pricey, and I ended up switching to another one of the big 4, and got much better results instantly.
At the bottom line I would not recommend their service.
I worked at the HRT Section, Tel Aviv
I worked at the Human Capital Transformation section. Highly manipulative and dishonest managers, salary is decent, but there are no career growth opportunities there, and they keep the employees hanging with their career aspirations just to profit out of it.
I would never recommend working there.

Horrible experience with deloitte…
Horrible experience with deloitte taking care of my tax return. I live in Germany and they're supposed to do it but the website is horrible, there's unexplained errors after completition of the forms, no way to actually send a message on the site while i'm logged in. I'm sure they sit back and relax while deflecting the responsibility for data that can't be submitted to them because of issues on their end.
I really hope my employer switched to them because they are cheap, but at this point they are not worth even if they work for free.
Not a good company to deal with your…
Not a good company to deal with your tax as an expats as they make mistakes and also always sent your tax filings very close to the deadline to pressure you to rush your review to avoid people finding out about their errors. Avoid at all cost if at all possible. Their moving team is good though, just the tax team who is very inconsiderate and do not respect people's time and always do things last minute. I suspect they are doing this on purposes as it is not possible for them do the work all at the last minute. Everyone at work who are expats experiencing this so, I suspect they just sent them out late in the game to rush people to review and therefore hoping no one will find their mistakes!! Unethical :-(
Makes a disclaimer for their many mistakes
Deloitte is hired by my employer, as I am stationed in Spain, but occasionally work in Denmark to make my tax declarations in Spain and Denmark.
I have the simplest finances, as I have sold all assets in Denmark and live for rent in Spain.
But it is simply too difficult for both Deloitte in Denmark and Spain. Not least because internally they can't figure out how to talk to each other.
They change the advices they give me all the time. And they make disclaimers all the time.
Of course I have to pay the tax I have to. But it is difficult when annual statements in Denmark and Spain are constantly redone, because I am asking about things that I do not understand.
And that brings corrections, and then I ask again. Again they find fault with what they have told me.
It is unsafe and unprofessional. And scary that Deloitte won't take responsibility for all their mistakes. So I have huge non paid taxes, rather than if I had just paid the tax that I had to every month.
Dont trust your economy to Deloitte.

Defrauding elderlies has never been easier before. Deloitte managed to get my late mother (who was 93 year old at the time) to change the will (established by my parents 6 years before) without knowing what she was signing. My mother had an elementary school education and does not read or speak a word of English and yet she was asked to sign various documents without an interpreter. Figure that one out!

A young woman i know who works at the Deloitte's office in Auckland work's horrendous hours and overtime is not paid. She has to walk home from the bus stop late at night and be up super early for the next day.
