LOSS OF MONEY WITH IMEI INFORMATION REQUEST

I had requested for IMEI information service. I was told that the service will be delivered on a average of 53 minutes with a guarantee of maximum 24 hours.

I raised the requested on Thursday 8:38 AM (GMT +8) and the chatbot mentioned the request in under process and we shall send the information no later than Friday 5th Oct 8:38 AM (GMT + 8).

The request is still UNDER PROCESS. With no time horizon for the solution. I am writing this review so that someone from DOCTORSIM may pay attention to this, because aside to the CHATBOT there seems no other way we can reach these SIM Doctors directly.

The only reason why I gave them a one…

The only reason why I gave them a one is because they unlocked it but AT&T unlocked it before them. So I couldn't get a refund

Unfortunately, doctorSIM does not issue refunds after the 10-minute grace period has expired as the unlocking request is processed automatically.

As an intermediary, we do not generate the unlock codes ourselves and are charged for the services by external providers. Once in progress, we have no way to reclaim the cost.

I wanted to get my Sprint LG G5…

I wanted to get my Sprint LG G5 unlocked. DoctorSIM sent me instructions and an unlock code and it did NOT work. When I dial the number they sent me to access the hidden menu all that happened was the phone called Sprint customer service. This was a waste of money. I ended up buying a new phone.

You guys haven't called me back yet

You guys haven't called me back yet. A bot asked some questions and told me that a human will be contacting me soon. I yet to hear from the human and remain with my phone locked.

I've been trying to contact someone and they could have let me known at the phone was on Blacklist I would have been fine but I'm sitting there trying to activate the phone for 5 10 15

Total Ripoff

I chose 1 star because there was nothing lower, paid my money and received nothing, not even an acknowledgment email.

Look at their canned reply, it's not unusual, it's what they do all the time.

Stay away from these bandits.

No code delivered 1 month & still waiting

Paid for the service and almost one month later I still have no unlocking code. Having to chase the company each week about the status of this and each week i'm told the same told the same story. "Apple's databases running at less than optimal speed". Is anyone else experiencing this?

Did not work

I have a galaxy s8+ originally on at&t and wanted to switch to Verizon. I typed in the unlock code after turning on my phone phone, it said it was a success but will not connect to in internet without WiFi. Still no mobile data.

According to our records, and as you have confirmed yourself, the device is network unlocked.

Please check with AT&T in case your cell phone is hard locked or blacklisted due to an unpaid bill or because the phone is reported stolen or lost.

Also, check that you have updated the APN settings.

Once your phone has been set up correctly, you will have no trouble using the device on Verizon.

Long wait

I tried to use doctorsim, but I am still waiting for the unlock code. It has been almost 2 weeks, and the unlocking service is well past the guaranteed time frame that they promised. I still get emails explaining that they are working on it, but it is not personalized to my situation.

We recommend trying again in 3-4 weeks as codes are being added to the system constantly.

I've been waiting the code for two…

I've been waiting the code for two weeks and still don't have it...I had to buy an old phone to be able to communicate but I lost a prepaid plan Sim card with money and data that I couldn't use. Also they have bad customer service, it takes 24 hours to answer an email sent during the working hours. Very disappointed

DO NOT USE THESE PLEASE

I went against my instincts and decided to use these to unlock my O2 handset, some two weeks later still nothing until a phone shop told me it was free to get it unlocked by O2? These didn’t even have the honesty to tell me, and within 24 hours O2 had unlocked my handset for free! I had contacted doctor sim on numerous occasions, in the end I opened a PayPal Dispute and was rewarded my refund. I should of listened to my instinct never ever trust a website offering unlocking service, as these days the providers unlock your handsets for free as they can’t lock there handsets anymore. Save your self time and more importantly money, no doubt they will comment on this negative feedback which will be the first time they actually bothered to communicate. It’s seems they are an averseas con artist.

On behalf of doctorSIM, I would like to apologise for your negative experience unlocking your iPhone with us.

We fully understand your frustration as network unlocking a mobile phone is a complex process and not as straightforward as it appears.

As the process is 100% online and fully automated, we have no way of knowing if a mobile phone can be unlocked for free by the network. Not all networks unlock phones locked to their network for free and usually only provide the unlocking if certain minimum requirements are met. The O2 unlocking service is active on our website because we receive many requests to unlock phones from O2 from customers that were unable to unlock their phone by contacting the network directly.

I would also like to mention that your unlocking was still in progress as you submitted your request on 1st July (our delivery times are in business hours/days). We also received three emails from you and each time we replied to all of your questions in a timely manner.
