Customer service crap for sellers

When buying customer services second to none marvellous
When selling different kettle of fish absolute nightmare I auctioned some CDs but could not reserve at £35 but could reserve at £50 I explained this to potential buyers now I'm expected to respect the buyer by selling CDs at £12.74,NO I won't and eBay are useless at helping sellers ,I explained to buyer said predicament still waiting for reply looks like only way to sell on eBay is to pay pay pay yeah thanks a bunch eBay,NOT!!! bloody annoyed and postage up to 20 kgs weight £9.19 to buyer but I cannot do this either because it's CDs and postage is NOT £3.50 either eBay FYI ! eBay charge monies before you sell your goods on auction at the moment I owe £2.84 and I don't know why,I thought list for free I'm going to sell on gumtree or market place you don't pay for those sites ,up yours ebay

worst company ever They support stealing and stealing themself. I can't believe I spent a month waiting for something that would never arrive also lost my money.They even created a fake delivery company to fetch false tracking data i don't know how those people walk freely around and get rich during people's headache for goods

UK Ebay supports buyers who steal goods from sellers.

Another negative experience with UK Ebay. Supports buyers who steal goods using the loopholes in the ebay system. The buyer has been refunded but is not sending the product back. That place posts a negative review, and ebay supports this kind of buyer behaviour. It's useless to call and talk to the ebay support team because they don't do anything. The only thing they do is cause a loss to the sellers.

EBAY extremely poor customer service getting worse

Customer service getting worse and poor.
Extremely disappointing after over 20 year experience.
eBay randomly and abusively closes open cases without solving problems.
Have purchased and paid items by Paypal and never received my items. Then opened a case after several months asking for a refund. eBay stupidly closed the case without any explanation but "we have decided to close this case".
Too bad, shame !

I can't tell you how poor their…

I can't tell you how poor their customer service is. I had purchased a gift card and unfortunately it cannot be redeemed because the scratch bar isn't showing the number. I explained their support team who said they will solve this.... never heard back.
Will NEVER use ebay again.

BS money back guarantee

Will not get my money refunded from a BS seller BUYER BEWARE... eBay will not get my money from seller after I got confirmation that they have received the item that I sent back. I will not be buying anything from this site again cause you will definitely get screwed.

Ebay's classic corporate greed

Ebay's policies are for ****! As a buyer, I added Stihl weedwhacker to my cart. Seller had a workaround - listed as buy local but when put into the cart it read free shipping. Bought by mistake - asked for cancellation. Ebay sends cancellation approved message. 3 days later, Ebay sends cancellation declined!
Then Ebay holds the $$$. Not refunding. Seller didn't get it. I didn't get it back. What's Ebay doing with the $555? It's been 12 days - it's always "yada-yada you will see the $$$ returned to you account soon" - today they promised an additional 10 more days before refunding. Where I'm going with this is; what if Ebay does the "approved cancellation" then "declines" it on purpose? As in, not a glitch. They got weeks of cash to do what? Give some exec a million dollar bonus for thinking of this "cash on hand" workaround? Makes tons of free $$$ for them.
For me, it's not the customer service folks at Ebay. They are trying. It's the scamming, hosing, Ebay algorithm run by corp corruption.

eBay is HORRIBLE

Ebay was once great. It was perfect for buying and selling; then they required bank information for ACH payouts with NO alternative. Huge security problem. I will never, ever use it again. I wish I could give zero stars.

we all should get a class action suit against EBAY they have ripped so many people . unscrupulous billing .. supporting sellers who supply fake tracking , their autobilling practices . I used to love their site ,, $ 100,000 in business ,, gone you too paaypal

You will get suspended for no reason

I made an account like three days ago because I wanted to start dropshipping. Initially, I posted a few items, including some clothes and other items. However, out of nowhere, my account got suspended. I was instructed to contact support, which, by the way, was a frustrating process. You actually have to receive a call from them, and it took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to reach their support. After I finally contacted support and got things resolved, my account was reinstated.

However, shortly afterward, I tried to list just one item for sale, and my account was permanently suspended again, seemingly for no reason at all. According to eBay guidelines, dropshipping is allowed, and I was only selling clothing items. It's frustrating that I got permanently banned over this. Honestly, eBay seems to be a difficult company to work with, and I'm surprised people still choose to sell here. I'm glad I've never made any purchases on eBay because, honestly, eBay is quite frustrating.

Their Money Back Guarantee is not…

Their Money Back Guarantee is not honored by eBay. I ordered an item that was being shipped from China...BIG MISTAKE! They sent me some garbage worth maybe a few cents. They would not send a return label, they said I had to pay to return it. I contacted eBay, and they said once I returned it I would get a refund and they closed the case. Problem was, it would cost me about $75 to return this item to them (it weighed maybe and ounce), but my original purchase was only for $17. eBay never responded to me when I asked who would refund the return shipping cost.

Permanently Suspended -no reason.

I ordered 4 items in the last week on August. 3 of the payments went through, the last payment was stopped as 'something went wrong'. I then received a message that my account has been permanently suspended as my pattern of activities pose a risk. After 5 queries, I received no explanation whatsoever with a reply of 'no further opportunity for appeal on this decision'. This is a personal attack on my integrity and a very sad state of affairs. Clearly, eBay has no idea what Customer Relations means.
It looks like I am fortunate as some of the reviews that I have now read are really scary and I can be considered lucky to have been one-sidedly cut off from any further transactions.

WORST company ever...

Ebay.co.uk is the WORST company that has ever existed, so be aware and avoid!

There are a lot of scam sellers from India and China that sell something broken and when the customer is willing to send it back for a refund, the scam sellers edit/change the title, the photo and the description of the listing and later,when the customer sends back the item they sold him, the scam sellers pretend they have posted to the customer another item!

I bought broken massager and when it was time to return it, the seller from China edited the listing, so the people to think that a solar battery tank was sold, instead of a massager.

When the eBay representative has had to step in and help, he didn't saw the massager, neither the battery tank, but saw a 58mm printer that I have never ever purchased! HUGE SCAMS and huge idioooots work out there !!!

So be very careful and AVOID!

After 18 years selling/buying on Ebay…

After 18 years selling/buying on Ebay with 100% feedback, Ebay sited with a scammer and I'm out $355 and did not get the item back. On top of everything Ebay kept their commission and withdrew my account the full amount of the item not the amount they paid me. Customer support were very cordial and pleasant but deceiving. I did not get a final answer until after calling 4 times and they had the time to withdraw my account without addressing my claim of being victim of a scam. There are other online sale platforms. Stay away from Ebay.

They have almost £100 of my money on…

They have almost £100 of my money on hold and are refusing to pay it out. They are claiming they don't have my bank and Visa details but both are showing clearly on my account. Seem to be just another shower of fraudsters. No point in me sending my stock and not getting paid so sadly will just have to refund any new orders

I'm sure the sellers love eBay Global Shipping, BUT

I'm sure the sellers love the ebay Global Shipping Program, but it can be a nightmare for international buyers like me.

My latest experience is that from the U.S. to a big city in Mexico it took a month to receive a modest sized item. The shipping estimate was 20 days, which was way off.

That's bad enough, especially when you consider that other providers get packages to us 90% of the time early, but never late. However, the tracking is also abysmal.

Tracking will update with a status, but doesn't tell you exactly where your package is. And it often "goes dark" for several days, so you have no idea what's going on. Then it gets to the last-mile provider where it sits for days.

Will be seeking items I need from out of the country through better providers than eBay.

No surprise that eBay Score Is Low
No surprise that the score on eBay is so low. I suspect that the score is due to how unable Sellers are and how difficult it is so hard to try and list something. One example I have is just how hard it is to offer carrier options to customers. You would not believe how hard it is to add different carriers. EBay! Listen not all goods are going to be sent with bloody Royal Mail ! Why? Because Royal Mail can not handle all sizes and weights!
Another frustrating issue is that eBay believes everything should be returnable. Sorry but no. Sellers will have products that are unreturnable, which are not catered for. A seller needs an option to not offer returns and then explain why no return on a product.

Corporate Scammers

Used them to sell one item. Money was paid two months ago but they just won't give it to me! Got to verify my accounts which they've used for 20 years and it's not happening. 3-5 days, 3-5 days, 3-5 days... Just making interest off the money they owe me. Never using eBay again. Corporate Scammers.
