Excellent & Reliable! I find ecabs to be the most professional cab outfit in Malta. The APP is an absolute breeze and prices are definite before booking. Waiting times are generally no more than a few minutes and drivers are all smart. Keep it up.

I used to book an ecab everytime I needed to go from/to airport. The app was very good, the drivers were very good and nice too. After a couple of years, things have changed. The company had a very nice success, so they had to hire more and more and and more people. Last three (3) times I booked an ecab, all the drivers were nice but all of them authentic speed freaks. And with the last one, I really felt in danger. So I left a "one star" to the driver, and removed the app completely. Since then, I stopped using their services. Now I'm using a car sharing service very used nowadays here, where you can book from the app, drive the car, and leave it on their parking spaces all over malta. It costs less and I can move around more relaxed. It's still very common today to see ECab cars sticking to your back and run like hell with that "I am the king, move out my way" attitude I really and deeply hate. The company should really do a better check of them.

My sister booked me a taxi from the airport the night before I arrived as she lives in Malta. When arriving at the airport, I had no taxi waiting for me. I waited half an hour and still no taxi arrived. I decided to download the ecabs app and book one my self and it arrived within 3 minutes. My driver was excellent and when I told him what had happened he was straight on the phone to the office. Overall the service from the driver was good but forgetting the initial booking made me only rate 3 stars as it was frustrating having to wait around for a pre booked taxi that never arrived isn't very convenient.

We used a regular “white” taxi when we first arrived in Malta and got totally ripped off (twice) before we found out about Ecabs. We downloaded the app and have used them 10 times thus far while on the island. Each driver has been on-time, the cost noted in the app has been fair and accurate, and we couldn’t be more pleased with both the cleanliness of the cars and the friendliness of the drivers. Such a great service........we’ve recommended it to several other hotel guests! No more “white cabs” for us!

I downloaded the eCabs app ahead of a visit to Malta, booked a cab to take me and wife out for our ten-year anniversary meal, then saw the awful reviews and started to worry.

But we needn’t have worried, the service we experienced was excellent. So much so in the end I used ecabs four times over the course of two days. We had a different driver each time, and they were all friendly (the first driver got out and opened the doors for us), the cars excellent (we had Mercs and BMWs) and the app easy to use. I was pleased to find the rate is lower if you just ask for it ASAP and don’t schedule the trip, but I found the costs reasonable to start with.

Excellent app for getting around Malta, we didn’t have any problems and I would definitely recommend this.

Cheap option but poor service. Waiting time they give is inaccurate, charges your card immediately and makes you wait for ages. But worst of all, atrocious customer service. So rude and unhelpful. Horrible woman on the phone.

Me and my wife booked the cab for 5:15am . While she was booking the guy who was working on bookings 5 times asked her for addres as he didn’t understand a single English word which for someone who works on that position is not right .
And than 5:10am we got msg from driver that he is need by , so we went out to wait for him. Yes we were waiting till 5:18 until I called driver to ask him where he is . He said that he is on location but wrong one as they have him wrong address. He came qt 5 30 am and to be honest he was polite and good skilled driver .

Used to be a great company but nowadays the drivers are either speed freaks or high on the job. You know it's true when they tell you themselves. Management has GPS and speed trackers on the cars but they don't care. I have been in a ecab that went 140kmh at a roundabout. I've also seen one stoned out of his mind while waiting to pick up customers.

Tried to cancel the cab to come to me after being late by 30 minutes, they tried to ask from me 10 euros and to tell them my credit card number online.....as if, who even does that, avoid this horrid service like the plague

Very dangerous and reckless drivers! Most should not have a license!!

Very disappointed. I had to wait 45 minutes under the rain and cold weather. I called 3 times to know what was happening and each time they answered me:”it’s coming, it’s around the corner, 5 minutes”.
NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.

Our driver, Melvin D'Agostino, was EXTREMELY friendly and ensured that we were safe and sound before dropping us off after a party. Would recommend such a driver to anyone, especially after having a good night out with friends!!

unfortunately I can’t recommend ecabs. booked couple of times and all the time experienced unprofessional service - late arrival, unfriendly staff, VERY fast and UNSAFE driving and lastly parking on restricted zones!

Very rude we booked these and payed on our phone and they decided to pic some other people up we had the no plate to show the woman in the booking message and she just said another will come for you in a while. The people in the cab were laughthing. And the driver was rude

I've used them 3 times so far and have another 3 bookings made. The service so far has been first class, some problems in them finding my location but they contacted me and we eaisily fixed matters.

The App is great and the drivers all look and behave professionally and friendly.

drivers have no idea of where they are going, don't even know how to use a GPS , I had to tell them where to go using my phone, and ended up being half an hour late , several times, shocking

Used to be a great reliable company. Now its a rip off, unprofessional and always late!! Never again!

I wish I could recommend Ecabs Malta, buuut unfortunately I can't.

I thought pre-booking a cab 1.5 hours before the actual starting time, would be sufficient to make sure the cab was in time. It wasn't. Roughly 30 minutes late.. At least they did not charge for that trip.

A few hours later for the return trip, I did not book in advance, but got 30min waiting time and after waiting 30 minutes, I call and find out they mixed up the starting destination and the final destination. So 45minutes later the cab arrives. Total time before getting the cab : 1 hour and 15 minutes.

This time they even charged full price.

If you wanna run late for something, or just want to experience casual back-to-back fuckups within a timespan of just a few hours, pick Ecabs.

Third time arriving at Malta airport within a year,all three times pick-up has been booked with ecabs, and all 3 times they have not only failed to pick us up, they have also denied any knowledge about the booking despite the dive centre being able to document it with emails every time.
It's a really annoying way to start a vacation.

Do NOT waste money using this company, their "service" is between poor and non existing!

This company is harming Maltas otherwise hospitable spirit
