Not at all happy with the service

Not at all happy with the service! Purchased some items for going away but didn't come in time, so returned the whole order. After much chasing I finally received a refund for half the order (despite sending it all back in one box!) and getting nowhere despite a lot of chasing to get the refund for the rest of the products!! Terrible customer service

DO NOT BY ONLINE

I ordered a scarf, and received a pair of shoes instead :) sent them an email and they told me they can’t do anything and I need to return the item and order again. I returned the item 3 weeks ago, yet, I didn’t get my money back. Such a crapy service.

Beware returning items

Used to love shopping with Esprit but the service has gone downhill. Returned item 6 dec and have tracked returned which they have received, however still not refunded. Have emailed and all they say is they are looking into it but cannot give a date the funds will be in my account. Will not shop with them again. Other companies refund within a few days

Disappointed. Seriously. Worst Customer Service EVER!

I was so excited to see that ESPRIT was online & ready to go this holiday season. I have managed to place one successful order, the rest go to my cart, I make the payment & then it "saves my basket" and tells me there's an error. I don't think their inventory and their online shop match. I also don't think anyone actually works in their customer service department. This is a disappointment. Tons of business lost for these folks because they can't return a phone call (or 20 of them that I've made). I've resorted to sending a text to see if we can place an order in real time. I doubt it will happen and I am fed up. Clearly my loyalty as a customer isn't valued. They can't make things right. So disappointed.

They lost my returned items on two…

They lost my returned items on two occasions. I wouldn’t have found out if I didn’t check properly. They email ‘items received and refunded’ but then you realise at least one is not on the list. I had to email them and argue that it was in the returned parcel before they admitted it was and sent me a refund. I understand it happening once by mistake, but found it hard to believe it’s a coincidence when it happened again. For this reason I’m not buying from them again. It’s a pity because they have very nice clothes.

Worst customer service ever

They modified the address format on their site and it is mandatory to change your delivery address according to their new rules. However it did not work for me, no matter what. I contacted them, asking to hurry up with a solution, because some of the items in my shopping bag were in low stock. They just did not care, they replied whenever they wanted and with no solution to solve my issue. Meanwhile, of course I lost a part of the items that were in my shopping cart. I am never going to buy from them again. For the prices in their shop, I expected much better services.

Hi, order few times. Most of the items good quality, most of it sale items so happy with the price. Delivery company awful. Few times they were unable to deliver due to “address doesn’t exist”. Parcels always damaged. I bought dress which doesn’t fit me, too bulky and didn’t like the material so want to return. I have to pay for it and…. received an email 18 months after that they received my return. (I already forget about that order). In mean time I got a new card so they weren’t able to process return because they claim don’t have my correct bank details which is not true because I purchased few items using my new card. Customer service very unhelpful, without knowledge. By the end of the day I didn’t get my money back and never bought from them since. Sometimes I’m tempted but no thank you, I have to stick to my words and will never buy from them.

I've ordered many times from Esprit.eu , never a bad experience.
You have to pay shipping for recieving the package, but not for returning it, that's free.
Clothes are of good quality and the size chart is practically always the same, so once you know your size, you'll know that the clothes you'll order will fit 99% of the time.
Only thing that bothers me a little bit, if you pay extra 2 Euro, you get the package shipped faster, and after placing your order, you get it within 2 days, which is ok.
However if you don't pay the extra fee, it first takes up to a week before they even send the package out.
I agree that if you pay more, shipping should be faster. But I don't like the system that your package is being on hold and not even shipped until almost after a week.

The worst online shopping experience ever!

The worst online shopping experience ever. I will not order from them again. I wanted to return my package, so I went to my local post office ( per instructions written on Esprit.eu website, and in the package I received), and there I was told that I had to pay for return postage myself. I called Esprit.eu immediately and was told the same thing, that my return is not free, which is DIFFERENT from the instructions written on Esprit.eu website, and in the package I received!?! The customer service representative I spoke with on the phone told me that all customers from my country know that returns are not free, which was obviously not true, because how would they know that if on Esprit.eu website is written that returns are free, during the buying steps no notice pops up about returns not being free, and moreover, the return instructions I received in my package say that returns are free! I am worried about returning my items now (will I get my money back?), because who knows what else they can make up along the way, because they were not transparent (actually, they were lying) about return postage fees, so what else they are lying about?

Bought a suit however had to return due to size I was a bit hesitant after reading reviews .... Have to say had no issues return pre paid by supplier refund now back in my account . And the reordered suit in the correct size now sitting in my wardrobe. Would have no issue ordering again from them 😃

Useless webstore and customer service

Useless customer service. Tried to order some clothes online pkt Thursday with express delivery via ups so I would receive my order on Monday. First they couldn't process my payment method, when logging into my account and attempting to select an alternative form of payment I was unable to do so, despite an email from customer service to use a different payment method. Next I called customer service, where I was in hold for 30 minutes, they promised me they would send an email with a payment link. After waiting for almost a day still no email. I rang customer service again explaining the situation again and the timing as I needed my order on Monday they told me that simply processing the order would take 5 business days... Despite the promise on the website that I would have my order on Monday. All in all excuses from their side and not living up to standards you'd expect in 2021. Somehow Esprit seems stuck in the early 2000s will never order from them again and obviously cancelled my order

Can't recommend. Their shopping cart's default payment method was payment with invoice upon product receipt, which I selected. After three days the items had not shipped and got an automated email that "the selected payment method cannot be used" and "please choose another one", but also "credit card or paypal may not be chosen due to security reasons". Only option was to cancel the order (or let it lapse by not doing anything). So I guess they don't want my money.

Surprised

I’m surprised about the negative reviews for Esprit as I’ve always found them fine. Quick delivery at a reasonable price and easy returns. Refunds much quicker than certain shops I could mention. I’ve also had cause to contact them a couple of times, due to my own errors, and they have been quick and helpful in their response. It’s just a shame they pulled their stand alone shops out of the uk. Great place for basics with a twist, good quality and excellent range of choice.

Awful customer services

Awful customer services. I have used esprit for years and buy most of my clothes from there. Recently I bought a top that fell apart. I phoned customer services who told me to send it back with the order number and product code for an immediate refund. I sent it back with the order number and product code. Months and countless emails later, I am still trying to get a refund. They have received the top and acknowledged the fault. But they have not given me a refund. I just go round in circles. Disgusted. It's the first time ever that I had to put them to the test with something going wrong and they were awful. They just lost a great customer!

I would really like to give a better rating...

I am a returning customer to Esprit (platinum level). The clothes are usually comfy and fit me well. The prices are acceptable. However, there are some pieces that are of poor quality and if I try to give a bad review on their site, the system blocks me (I need to clear my cookies again and again), which I think is annoying. No problem with 5 star ratings tough... I don't know how is this even possible.
I would really like to give a better rating because Esprit offers a great shopping experience (this is why I stick to them), but I feel that the quality of products is dropping and turning into fast fashion. Sad.
