terrible company

terrible company. my food was delivered warm and gross. they threw two ice packs in there like it was going to make a difference. they also advertise a 1 week cheap price and then change it the following week. personally wouldn't recommend this company. i could save money buying groceries from the store and would get better quality products. just dont see an upside to this company. save your money & time find a better company or just get some cooking lessons so you dont have to worry about the middle man screwing up your food. be safe!

Wish I could rate it at 0 stars

Wish you had 0 stars. Went to sign up for the $1.99 per serving (regularly $4.99) plan they advertised. Filled out account info, including my credit card info, and then went to pick my 5 meals. Most were cheap meals like mac and cheese, rice and a something on top. Then there were some meals that sounded better but they were +$3.99 per serving! So I said forget this-FALSE ADVERTISING, BAIT AND SWITCH. It went ahead and charged my card even though I hadn't finished picking meals. Nowhere on the site could you easily cancel so I went to the chat box. They were able to cancel the order I didn't place and said that they automatically charge your card BEFORE you pick your meals? This practice seems sketchy to me. I don't go to a store/website and say here charge my card and I'll see if there's anything I want later? Was told it would take 5-10 business for my refund even though the order went thru 5 minutes before! STAY AWAY from these guys.

The food was delivered on the wrong day…

The food was delivered on the wrong day so it sat in a heated lobby for a day before I got to it. Once I did get a chance to pick it up it was inedible anyway due to the ice pouch being punctured and the food being covered in whatever material is used in the ice pack.

We had such a bad experience

We had such a bad experience, we canceled after our second box.
We were missing some items the first box. The second box, our lettuce was already turning brown. The peppers were soft and get ripples all over.
They didn’t sit outside more than 20 minutes when delivery.

I plan to use HelloFresh again, we used them and it was amazing.

This is my go-to meal kit

This is my go-to meal kit. I've tried Hello Fresh but it was hard on my budget, so I switched to MarleySoon which was awful (one week they missed one compleate meal) and expensive. Then switched to Blue Apron (I got spoiled onions one week, only 7 weekly meals to choose from and expensive).. I'm so glad I found EveryPlate as it is inexpensive, has a decent variety of meals a week and food is good quality!!

Might be better if you get what you need to make the dinners you order

I thought we would give them a try. I ordered 5 meals for a family of 3. I was able to make 2 meals out of the 5 we ordered. Ingredients were missing and when I reached out to customer service they continued to tell me it was due to the fact that they included the wrong meal cards. I had not ordered anything like what they sent for most meals. My family is very picky about what vegetables they eat.
They loved the onion burgers (no fries since they didn't send enough potatoes. Just a bunch of sickly dieing carrots)
They liked the chicken sausage linguini.
I don't think everyplate is for us.

Great Service, Bad Website

I love this service. When I ran out out of ideas of what to cook, Every Plate opened me to so many new foods and helped eliminate having food go to waste. The food was fresh and the recipes were never too difficult nor time-consuming.

My only complaint about the service is that their website never seems to work. I can never check my weekly menus nor update my account. All I get are blank screens, even with the ad blocker turned off. None of the links on the FAQ page work either. It is extremely frustrating.

EveryPlate did NOT give my Daughter in…

EveryPlate did NOT give my Daughter in Law credit for my order and COULD NOT..... I was on "Chat" for over an hour..... I eneded up having to cancel my order.... the so called SUPERVISORS could not help the Chat line help person..... they are WORTHLESS SUPERVISORS...... Lost a very good customer.... I was referred by my Daughter in law and a credit couldn't be given to her.... because somehow there was a "glitch" in the system when I ordered THROUGH her link..... Ridiculous and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Everyplate has extremely poor customer service... i never received my order....I called them and was on hold for over an hour. No one answered the phone.... I tried using the chat... no one responded..

Not great quality food

Not great quality food. Nothing organic that I could find which is a deal breaker for me. Good price but lack of healthy choices makes Gobble a better option. It’s a little more expensive but the quality of the food and great recipes make it worth it.

Never Even Got to Try Them

Never even got to try them. Never got my first delivery. My 15 year old son is wanting to go to culinary school. We thought this might be a good introduction to teaching him recipes and cut down some of the time it takes me to cook after getting home from work.

We ordered and were looking forward all week to getting our first delivery. It never came. The tracking status bar never updated.

The first time I contacted customer service, I was told they had no idea why I didn't get my box. I asked how it was supposed to be delivered and was told they contract out locally to Axelhire. The rep made no attempt to contact them or do any type of research. I told the rep I had a lot of friends that were waiting fr me to tell them how it went before they ordered and the rep had the nerve to tell me it wasn't their fault that it wasn't delivered. I ended the chat, very unsatisfied.

I decided to wait a little while and contacted customer service again via chat. The second rep was very nice and said it looked like it was delayed due to weather. I said that we haven't had snow or ice in nearly 5 days and all the roads in our area have been clear for days. She said that it should be delivered the next day (which is today). I told her that if it's not, I would like to cancel and get a full refund. She said no problem. I also told her that I looked up the reviews on the delivery company they use and they were the worst I've ever seen. She agreed and said yes, they are horrible and she feels bad for anyone that ends up getting them for their deliveries (they also use Fedex and UPS depending on the area).

So, here we are on day two with no delivery. I have been waiting over 30 minutes now on hold via chat and not getting an rep to talk to.

Knowing that my area is serviced by Axelhire for all the food delivery services like Everyplate, I will not be using any of them. I'm very very disappointed.

Tasty but unreliable and poor customer service

Food is tasty and easy to make, but they're unreliable and impossible to get ahold of. My package was supposed to arrive on a Tuesday, but the snow on Monday delayed it. No big deal. Come Friday afternoon, it's still not here. Tried to get them on chat with no answer. It was time to cancel and not look back.

Terrible customer service

First box was delivered to wrong address. I spent 20 minutes on the online chat just waiting for a response. And at the same time I was on hold with customer service phone, which nobody ever answered. I immediately canceled my subscription. I do not recommend, based on customer service alone

Poor Customer Service

I had been a customer for over a year. Two of my last 3 orders had delivery issues. When I called which was at least twice I was on hold for at least 10 minutes both times and finally gave up. The same with the chat which I tried several times, waited at least 10 minutes to have no agent pick up the chat.
They say they are hungry for feedback, why they do nothing with it. I liked the food, but when they do not contact you when you stop using them it appears that they really do not do anything with the feedback. I asked for a call when I filled out the feedback questionnaire and I have heard crickets.

This is definitely not worth the money

This is definitely not worth the money, period! Not even if you got a discount like I did. It was nothing like what I was expecting. The box of food looks like I went to the food pantry and picked up a free box of food. I canceled as soon as I opened my first box. There is not enough meat for 4 adults, it barely fed me and my husband, although we had plenty of root veggies leftover. 🙄 And didn't even cook the carrots because they weren't any good. And... I was missing produce. 🤦‍♀️ Never again! Don't waste your money.

DON’T GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!

I was sent a free meal box to try from EveryPlate by a friend. The meal came and was fine, but I decided to not subscribe to their meal plan.
After numerous emails from them about ordering meals in which I’d have to skip the delivery, I started clicking unsubscribe. This happened over and over again. I wrote a message about not receiving any more emails from them, but continued to get them. Today I got a notice that they were delivering a meal to me today. I immediately tried to find a number to call and finally spoke to someone. I explained that I had not ordered the food and did not want it, it was told it couldn’t e returned.
I am very angry that this company is taking advantage of people, and I want to alert everyone.
DON’T GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!

No contact (email) page on your site sets up red flags.

I was just curious about their meals & once they had my email: harassment is the best description that I can come up with.

I work IT for a Fortune 500, and their 'unsubscribe' link doesn't actually unsubscribe you. If my company were to do this, we'd be in for quite the fines, so I'm not sure how they get away with it.

No contact form on their website: only chat & phone. I think that alone says 'stay away'. There are too many competitors out there that have it all: phone, chat, email, twitter, etc. Just stick with the ones reputable enough to be able to be contacted in contemporary ways, not funnel you though their preferred channels (and make you do more work).

Too bad my experience was poor, but that was before I even had a chance to try them out: if its this difficult, I can only imagine how it would be if I experienced a problem with my meal kit or wanted to cancel.
