I am giving only 4 stars as the problem…

I am giving only 4 stars as the problem with hot water in my house was fixed but there was no heating , the engineer did not answer my call and I had to fix that new problem myself. For the work I can give only 4 stars but for service only 2. Not completely happy. Thanks.

Outstanding service

Outstanding service, no stress, arrival was between the hours stated, my job was not that hard but I didn't know that at the time, the engineer was great, no new boiler needed like the other company's were saying.

Failed to turn hot water back on

Failed to turn hot water back on - system broke down 24 hours after attended and apparently fixed! Not great for £199!

Hi Jon. We haven’t had a call from you regarding this issue if your hot water hasn’t been fixed correctly you have a warranty with us please contact us and we will rearrange another visit under our Fairfix guarantee.
I’ve spoken to the engineer and he explains he cleaned out your water pressure sensor it could be you just need a new one get in touch and we will arrange a replacement we have already tried to call you several times

The service was good

The service was good . Job well done . The only thing I didn’t know all I need was the tank to be filled water . £200 is bit expensive for the job

My engineer Attended my home and after…

My engineer Attended my home and after checking my boiler decided that I would need a new boiler due to the costs involved to repair my fifteen year old appliance,so after due consideration i have decided that it would be best to purchase a new boiler in the new year instead, rather than spending huge amounts of money on such an old appliance.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review yes unfortunately sometimes if you have multiple issues on the boiler that is quite old it may be better off replacing the unit rather than repairing it.
Glad to hear you listened to the engineers advice as they would never tried to repair a boiler that we probably could not fix and that would cause you more financial cost and problems in the long run.

Amazing service & commitment

I just wanted to thank your company and Idris in particular for attempting to repair my boiler on Thursday afternoon and part of Friday.

He tried to get it going but unfortunately on this occasion just could not get it going.he explained to me that part he tried to install was different to my original and that my exact part had been discontinued.

He was very informative and stated that it would be highly advisable to invest in a new boiler in which I am doing at present.

True to the companies policy the boiler was not fixed on this occasion so no charge was made.

I will definitely be reccomending you guys to people and will be turning to you in the future.

Fantastic!

Our engineer, Steve, was amazing. He was efficient, courteous, caring about our home and COVID guidelines and most importantly he fixed the problem for the set price as promised. I would highly recommend this service.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Prompt, clean, polite. The engineer was very informative and had the issue sorted within 15 minutes without the need for additional parts.

Boiler losing pressure

Boiler losing pressure, repaired leaking diverter valve, still losing pressure, on revisit asked for further payment as problem not related to original fault, it was an existing issue which should have been resolved the first time, he tried to charge us a second time.

Absolutely dreadful service

Absolutely dreadful service.

Filled in the details on their website. Informed I would be contacted next day.
Got to the afternoon (of the next day) and due to no contact, phoned them and was assured someone would call back. No one did.

What kind of service is that?

Used local heroes instead and got an engineer out the same day!

Will never use this service again based on this experience.
