My experience with Fanatec Couldn't have been better

My experience with Fanatec Couldn't have been any better. Delivery times were quicker than I expected. Got it installed and everything just worked as intended.
Placed my order on 16-7-2024.
Received a confirmation mail 1 hour later.
Went for delivery on 19-7-2024
Recieved it on 22-7-2024.

Order consists of:
CSL DD 8NM
Clubsport Wheel RS
QR1 Metal
CSL Elite V2 Pedals
CSL Desk Clamp

Très grande rapidité

Je réitère mon avis positif du mois dernier. Nouvelle commande passée un lundi soir à 19h30, reçu ce jour jeudi de la même semaine. Record de vitesse battu. Merci à l'équipe et à toute la chaîne.

Unacceptable Customer Service

There was a shiping problem and they just completely ignore me since over half a year! They owe me alot of money so they are literally trying to scam me!
And i also tried to get something repaired but nothing, also getting ignored since some months. Unacceptable poor Customer Service. Dont buy anything from them.

scammers

scammers, they send you a defective product. Instead of replacing it, since it is under warranty, they say they have repaired it and send it to you with the same problem. You send it back to technical service and they say that it's your fault for using inappropriate screws for the QR when they are the ones they send you with said QR. And on top of that they want to charge you for repairing it

Terrible support

Terrible support. Spent €3000 on various wheels and bases. Problem with an item and then never once replied to a support request. Even their own forum user have given up hoping for support. Real wished I’d spent my money elsewhere. AVOID

Lost my product during RMA

First off, it took forever to get my order that I placed during the Black Friday sale, honestly, I don't care about that, but it is worth noting. Then, the pedal set I ordered (CSL Elite Pedals V2) broke after a month of mild use, so I submitted an RMA request. They had me send in my pedals and the tracking number they provided shows that the pedals were delivered at the warehouse and signed for. However, it's been five months of back-and-forth bs and they have no idea where my pedals are. They lost them and at this point, it doesn't seem like they intend on fixing the situation. I want to like Fanatec, but they shouldn't expect you to spend a fortune on their products if they aren't going to provide support. I would avoid this company.

They dont reply

Product stopped working, spend hundreds of euros. They do not reply, if they reply they only ask for more photos and then it takes another 2 weeks to reply. They now completely stopped replying. I am not stuck with a product that is no longer working. Please dont order from these guys.

Why is there no Zero Star Rating?

These guys are a joke. Can't get anything right and give zero f**ks. Even when they have acknowledged a stuff up on their behalf, multiple times, they still have no care factor to make it right quickly. 2 weeks of not even processing or communicating and when they realised and acknowledged, they still have not even shipped it and refuse to do express shipping. Missed delivery for my son's birthday and are doing nothing to make it right. It seems as though they are in the business of taking people's money and holding on to it and gambling/investing it.

Overpriced garbage

For the price over 700 euros at the time for the cheapest option i WOULDNT recommend fanatec. I had to send it for repairs twice in the first year. It already came totally broken. On the other hand in 2 days they told me to send it back and in a week I got it back repaired. After over 2 years (warranty expired) again something broke and its 9 days since I asked for help wihtout answer. I had to dismantle the whole rim to find out whats wrong and now I am going store to store to find the right part to replace it by myself.

UPDATE
After long 2 months they managed to send me their solution. In simple words replacement of 1 component will cost me at least 100 euros if not more :) Half the price of the new wheel. WHAT A DEAL @fanatec

I have decided to take the risk (with…

I have decided to take the risk (with the delivery issues of Fanatec). Their website said the products are in stock and ship between (4 - 7 Days)
on 25/06/2024, I purchased CSL DD + wheel and pedals from their website (at night)
on 26/06/2024, my order was marked as being processed
on 28/06/2024, my order was scanned by UPS in Hamburg, waiting for customs examination.
and it is estimated to be delivered on 03/07/2024 to my address in the UK

03/07/2024 it has arrived on time
08/07/2024 I love it, and it is amazing! I got the CSL DD 8NM + Wheel + CSL Pedals.

I would say the delivery is pretty good and it has exceeded my expectations. It looks like they have sorted out their warehouse/operational issues...

I think the community should know that.

Purchase At your Own Risk

Upon ordering, my order arrived in less than 2 weeks. At first I was skeptical considering the state the company is right now and other reviews but my order arrived quite quickly. The reason why I am only giving 4 stars is because, on delivery I had to pay near £100 due to import fees from UPS. I know this is not Fanatec's own fault but it was not made clear beforehand. I had only ordered a CSL DD with the Mclaren GT3 rim and pedals so your experience may vary depending on the size of your order and stock of specific items. I have nothing bad to say about the product itself as it is superb and a great upgrade from less powerful Thrustmaster or Logitech wheels.

I really hope you don't have an RMA…

I really hope you don't have an RMA with these jokers. I waited 3 months to get my out-of-the-box defective pedals back and they sent me another set of completely dead pedals WITH an existing customers Name and Shipping address on them! Expect to wait weeks if not MONTHS to get any action from these clowns. They've made an anti-customer out of me.

Delivery Delays & Issues

I ordered a bundle of the CSL DD with the GT3 V2 McLaren wheel with CSL Pedals on the 24th May, I got an email on the 28th saying that my whole order had been put to exception as UPS need Clearance Information from Fanatec, as their inbox is delayed this will take too long and it will end up back in the warehouse before they can send the info.

If anyone from Fanatec is reading this please can you upscale this as I will not be able to have it delivered from the 17th June to the 28th June as I will be on holiday.

Products are dreadful and they do not respond to cancellations.

I have never been ignored for so long and had to put up with such waiting times and lack of answers as from you! Furthermore, the wheelbase is already defective when you unpack it. At least Paypal responds to the case to waste less of my time!

After waiting several weeks for a replacement, another faulty station. I'm so fed up with you guys. You are destroying my enjoyment of the hobby. If you can't deliver proper products, give me my money back!

I have been trying to get my money back for 8 weeks and you have not replied.

BF sale is a scam

A big scam carefully planned by Fanatec. The orders placed during Black Friday last November were all just for them to defraud money for their huge debt problem. Now this garbage company will be acquired at a low price.

Refunded order and i never got my money

Refunded order and i never got my money


i refunded my order in the beginning of may, sent fanatec an email that i want to refund and they accepted it.

now its been 2 weeks or more and they are keep telling me that they refunded my order on the 17th of march even tho i made my order on the 14th of april.


they are mixing up my refund with my order i made in march and wont give me my fkn money.


also delivery time is reeaaallly fkn bad and customer support is non existent.

cant even call these scammers.


-10/10 would never buy again from these scammers

If you don't want to wait for 6 months and got ignored by Fanatec...

I have been contacting Fanatec for 2 months to follow up my orders that made in November. They either ghosted me or send me reply that never fix my issue. I feel like my money had already got stolen by this company. If you have 1k to spend and want to get some headache and high blood pressure, feel free to buy from this company.
