Fast ferries to Andros and back
Took the fast ferries from Rafina to Andros and back. Everything was good and plesent except for an hour delay on our way back from the island, of which no notification was given.

Thank you for your feedback. After receiving your review we contacted the ferry company Seajets to find out what exactly happened and why we were never informed about this cancelled ferry trip.
They kindly explained that your trip was cancelled due to strong winds and as this was a decision taken by the port authorities for your safety and very close to your departure time, the best they could do at that point, was to inform you directly via an SMS.
Seajets also informed us that you already received a full refund for the specific tickets from their local port office. As such cancellations or delays can happen due to unforeseen reasons, we always recommend not to book a flight on the same day as your ferry.
We remain at your disposal for further information or assistance and are sorry about the inconvenience.
The worst trip of my life
The worst trip of my life. The ship steered full into the wave with a 30-knot north wind. The 1-hour trip from Paros to Mykonos felt like a rollercoaster ride. Over 40 people threw up. I have never seen so many vomit bags in my life. The ship is far too small in such weather. Very irresponsible to do the transfer in such weather.

SCAM company
They totally scammed me with the option for cancellation. I paid more expecting I can cancel my trip. On hidden rules it says it needs to be done 14 days prior while it never specifies it in the checkbox. Anyway I turn my tickets to open tickets after asking them to provide every rule to me. They won't specify even the half rules of what really is happening and when I actually try to book the tickets I want to get they lie to me about the ship being full of cars while I keep logging in their site and it STILL has availability. TOTALLY SCAM COMPANY! Don't ever book here! Please save your money. Also the first time I bought the tickets the system took my money and it gave an error message. I should have suspected they were scam since that moment. They are not even following the correct payment regulations according to EU.

We would like to clarify though, that we have not scammed you in any way.
Our booking engine is very straightforward and you are clearly requested to read and accept the cancellation policies of the ferry companies before proceeding to the payment of your booking. We are very sorry that you did not read them carefully.
During the booking procedure, you selected the Business Service package according to which in case of cancellation you have a free cancellation service fee. It is clearly explained and underlined that this package does not include the amount that each ferry company charges according to its cancellation policy.
The Business Package includes the cost of using our services (basic fee), the cost of using our services in case of modification of the reservation (service amendment fee) which amounts to 12.30 EUR and the cost of using our services in case of cancellation of the reservation (service cancellation fee) which amounts to 5 EUR . Also, this package provides priority in customer service and money refund (in cases of changes and cancellations).
This package does not include the amount that each ferry company charges according to its cancellation policy.
Furthermore, before proceeding with the payment for this booking you had to read and accept the cancellation policy of Golden Star ferries:
Cancellation policy
• 14 days before the departure, the tickets are fully refunded or turned into open-date tickets or they are changed to another day.
• From 14 days to 7 days before departure: the tickets are 75% refunded or alternatively they are turned to open date tickets.
• From 6 days up to 12 hours before departure: 50% refund or change to open date ticket.
• From 12 hours before departure to upon departure time: the tickets cannot be cancelled or turned to open date tickets.
* After the ferry departure, the tickets cannot be cancelled or turned to open date tickets.
As well as the general terms of the ferry company where it is clearly indicated that tickets are personal and non-transferable and cannot be used for other passengers.
Then 10 days before your departure you requested to cancel your tickets and we kindly explained to you that at this point you could cancel the tickets with a 75 % refund or convert them to open date tickets. We clearly also explained that tickets that are converted to open date can be used for one year for trips of the specific ferry company only upon availability. You selected to convert the ticket to open date so our reservations department proceeded accordingly.
3 days ago you sent a new email requesting to validate some of your open tickets for a specific date in August for a trip where there was no availability for vehicles. We do not have any reason to lie and not to validate your tickets to new ones and we really hope that you can understand that if there is no such availability we simply can’t validate your open tickets for the specific trip. The reason free spaces showed in the garage was that there were a few meters left for motorbike tickets but if you try to proceed to a booking with a car you will see that it will not be possible to complete it. This is a glitch in the central ferry booking system ‘Liknoss’ that we cannot change or be held responsible for. Of course, we are still keeping an eye out to see if a cancelation will occur and free space for a vehicle would show up so that we could book it for you. We even contacted the ferry company who informed us that there is nothing they can do to find availability if such is not available in the booking system.
Of course, we will be happy to validate your open date tickets for any other route of Golden Star ferries with available car tickets within the year.
Indeed when you initially made this booking your payment went through but due to a connection error, your booking was not successful.
Within a few hours, we sent you an email explaining the situation to you and offered to you to either to validate your booking and send you your booking confirmation or to totally refund you.
So it is totally unreasonable to blame us as scammers for this reason.
We validated your booking upon your own request, and sent you your booking confirmation right away.
We really hope that you will soon contact our reservation department with a new desired dates or trips to travel on so they can validate your open date tickets and close this case.

Experience with 3 vessels
We traveled with 3 vessels during our vacation. The last one, Seajets was 30 minutes late, and the others were on time. The seats were good in Minoan an Hellenic Seaways, but the Seajet was really crowded, with a lot of seats.

After having big problems with ferry schedules earlier in the year, all worked out fine on my trip from Rhodes to Symi, if only the ferry companies could release the schedules earlier!

soon, all the smaller ones as Ionion Pelagos that you travelled with, will also propose this option.
