I recently called Flexiti Financial tUnacceptable Customer Service and Poor Privacy Practiceso…
I recently called Flexiti Financial to get information on my account and was told I wouldn't receive help unless I provided my date of birth. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, Mary reiterated the same policy. Date of birth isn't the only way to verify identity, and other companies I deal with have no issue using security questions instead.
I even asked Mary for the Privacy Officer's contact information, as required by law, and she claimed not to have it. It's troubling that a supervisor is unaware of basic privacy compliance. This company needs to train its staff properly on privacy laws and customer service. Very disappointed!
I called Flexiti to change my postal…
I called Flexiti to change my postal address and they said they would need proof. I could not provide proof immediately. Without telling me, they locked me out of my online account, so I did not know when to pay or whether they received payments on time. So I set up an automatic payment plan with my bank to avoid late payments and interest. It took them 6 months (and many calls) to change the address and they even managed to got it wrong. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH FLEXITI. Just do your research online and you will know why it's not a good business. I'm so far lucky I haven't paid any interest.
Advertising 0% interest free but is 8.3%!
Advertising 0% interest free to purchase a mower with Husqvarna, the dealer shows me fees and costs and is actually 8.3%!!!!!! These people are scammers, do not use for “interest free” purchases.
Never get a flexiti card
Never get a flexiti card. I had a purchase of 2300 one year no payment, I paid of about 900 dollars in one year. In the fist month after one year I got a bill saying my balance was of 2500. What? Surprisingly I was paying 30% out of the total purchase no matter how much I paid off. Better to buy stuff with your CC.
LOW ...IQ...bad actors
LOW ...IQ...bad actors, Ithought these type of , bottom feeders, have been ..dismissed from existance ... be very careful, with your purchases, at suposedly.. legit furniture retailers, Wayfair, etc etc, You won`t see 10 cents from me ever again wayfair...checkout who you associate your firms name with!!
boycott Bricks for using Flexiti
If I could, I would rate it zero. I was forced this card by Brick store, as I was buying some furniture with deferred payments. I was paying monthly installments, but noticed that they were charging me interests and deferred payment charges. Then I dug further and found that they are sending you notice of payment is overdue, not before. If I could, I would take them to court and put them behind bars. Petty thieves. Shame on this Toronto company. Boycott both Bricks and Flexiti, both are thugs.
This company should be behind bars!!
This company should be behind bars!!! Hidden fees. Outrageous interest rate. Repulsive customer service. I was paying over 40% in interest on a 2000.00 couch from Leons…run the other way!!!
False Advertise
This is going to be long, i really want a JBL 710 Party Box and have a Flexiti card. I notice that on there partner site that 2001 Audio Video was a partner so i called around and found what i was looking for and the guy was giving me a $200 discount so i went with my card ready to buy when i got there he did the paper work and put it though on the card but Flexiti only had a 36 mouth option that he cound t even use ( they do 6 months and 12 months no interest ). I went to my truck and called Flexiti to see what we could do.. Well the agent was 100% no help didn’t really car wouldn’t even give his name told me to try somewhere else. I Finally said so you don’t deal with them his response was no not really, so i asked why on the site does it say they are a partner… no answer. I finally had enough and to him i was going to write this review his answer was yea whatever and hung up. If i have to go take a loan to pay off the $1100 i owe i will. This company is disrespectful and does not care at all about the customer. Talk to this guy ( who never gave his name wonder why ) was the worst experience i have ever had. PLESE!! Think twice before getting a Flexiti card they don’t care to help people and they false advertise and don’t care.
Credit Reporting
Be prepared for your credit rating to go down quick. It reports back as a normal credit card so if you rack this up, it will affect your credit utilization percentage (revolving) - not like a car financing (installment). Woke up this morning with my credit rating being down by 65 points. Stuck with it until I can pay everything off.
Scam company Flexiti
Right from the start this company scammed me ! I bought a fridge and used 2000 on Flexiti
I was supposed to be 12 equal payments they charged me insurance until I noticed and told them. To take it off I’m out over 300 from that ! No refund either ! Then I tried to make a purchase from wayfair and cancelled it sent product back they charged me 180 plus for no reason ! So I called them. They said that they would waive some type of interest payment for 32 bucks I never missed a payment or was late they never did ! Then I asked. For total amount to pay them off to be done with them so they did and I payed the amount in the email then I get another email saying I owe another 9.97 !!!??? For what ??????? I feel like I been scammed from the beginning to the end !!! Stay far away from this company !!!
Be very very careful using this…
Be very very careful using this company. I would suggest running the other way. I set up 36 no interest payments with my bank after our purchase. 2 years in I find out they have me paying for insurance with interest on this same account. I never agreed to this insurance. Who would buy insurance for a $6000 purchase. They are scammers. Lots of other reviews that I wish I had k own about sooner.
Flexiti Credit Card--IT IS NOT WORTH IT!
I do not recommend Flexiti Credit Card to anyone unless you have a lot of money to throw money away on this (Money Hungry) entity.
I used the card on June 19 to buy a few items from Jysk for $725. Ten days after I purchased, I paid the whole amount in full only to notice they charged me an "Administration Fee" of $149.76. I will pay that (Theft) fee and will close the account immediately. I recommend this card to people who have a lot of money to throw away. Flexiti Credit Card—IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!
Money Scam
Money Scam
I spoke to a representative and they said they would waive my interest and fee on purchases.
But they charged me interest 2 months later.
When I called up they said two months are passed and they cannot waive it.
I am never going to use this service ever again.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ITS A SCAM…
I ordered a crib and dresser set from Wayfair using their flexiti financing option, I got my first statement and the full amount is due tomorrow plus interest if late. I’ve been playing phone tag with the two companies, They’re both blaming each other and say there’s nothing I can do without returning the items and cancelling the order which I have to pay out-of-pocket to return. 130$ to send it back and a cancellation fee comes off the return. It’ll take 10 days to process so in the meantime, flexitit is going to charge me interest on the full amount over $1000 which I will be liable for even after the return. Plus a missed payment ring on my credit score, I feel like I’ve been scammed. I’m seven months pregnant and can’t deal with the stress right now and now I have no crib.
Flexiti is blaming me saying I selected rewards point instead of financing but it NEVER gave me the option to do that to begin with and WHY would I sign up for a credit card to make the full purchase amount how does that make sense, I would have just paid directly through wayfair.
Worst company to deal with
Worst company to deal with. We have been up to date on our payments for 3 years(we have used them for a few items). We asked if we could simply move our payment date from the 2nd of each month to the 15 due to a new job with different pay periods. Got a swift reply saying there is no way they can do that. Zero effort to accommodate a client who has always paid in time. Specifically Tyler, you are the worst bunch of people to deal with. Stay far away from this scam of a company
18 month ago i bought some jewelry in…
18 month ago i bought some jewelry in mikaek hill where they gave me a flexity card. No big details were explained but I knew I had to pay before 18 months I called flex city last September and they told me to do that it was in June. Maybe I forgot the day. My email there was always send emails saying that I owe zero to pay my balance or to pay my credit end of each month. I never had the physical cars. I never got the phone call from them alerting me for the date that I had to pay the full balance since the beginning of the year I started to pay the card because I know it was due June my surprise on the third June I got the statement by mail telling me that I owe $2400 I panicked I only was missing to pay the last $250 which I paid on the fifth. I called them and they say my due date was first June for three days that I missed the payment. They were charging me 2500 almost I called them super rude they don’t even let you speak so back-and-forth after many phone calls different information given by them they reduce me my interest for 1900. I said no I’m gonna pay so another five or six call I got interest to $500. these guys are scamming very dangerous , there are no professions talking with us online they are not interested in listening to you so it’s really a very bad experience that I’m going to communicate to the Michael Hills store because it’s really a really situation they don’t charge you interest over the amount that you are Missing to pay by the due date, they charge you over the full amount a very ridiculous interest watch out
They are scammers
They are scammers will send you notifications 0 amount due and next month charges you an interest. So please avoid these people.
Dear Better Business Bureau,
Dear Better Business Bureau,
I am writing to file a formal complaint against Flexiti Financial regarding my experience with one of their credit cards.
Approximately one year ago, I made a purchase of nearly $2,500 worth of jewelry from People's Jewelers, and they provided me with a Flexiti Financial credit card for this transaction. However, I never received the physical credit card from Flexiti, nor was I informed of my payment due date, unlike the standard practice of other credit card issuers.
After the payment due date had passed, Flexiti Financial sent me an email demanding a substantial amount of interest on the balance. When I contacted them to request a waiver of these excessive fees, given that I was unaware of the due date, their customer service representatives were unwilling to fully accommodate my request. One representative told me I would need to pay the full original purchase amount in order for them to consider waiving any of the interest charges.
I immediately paid the $2,500 purchase amount, which took two days to reflect on their website. When I followed up with Flexiti again, they stated they would only waive a portion of the interest, approximately $200, but not the remaining $750 in interest fees. Feeling frustrated and taken advantage of, I paid the remaining interest charges, but I am adamant about discontinuing this "poisonous" credit card.
Flexiti Financial's actions appear to be a swift and predatory means of trapping customers. They failed to provide essential account details, levied exorbitant interest rates without proper notification, and were unwilling to rectify the situation in a fair manner. This behavior seems to reflect a pattern of unethical business practices that I believe the Better Business Bureau should investigate thoroughly.
I urge the Better Business Bureau to intervene and put a stop to Flexiti Financial's concerning actions. Their lack of transparency and customer-centric approach is unacceptable, and I believe many other consumers may have been similarly victimized.
Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your assistance in resolving this issue.
Sincerely,
SKS
Too bad I can’t give ZERO stars
If I could give this company less than one star, I would. I have never dealt with a worse credit card company. First of all, the application was done by The Brick, and they skipped over a whole bunch of important information. They didn’t tell me about the $199 admin fee for all purchases over a certain amount. They told me I was on the 12 months equal payment plan…. But said it was a promotional interest rate. Now, it’s my fault I didn’t read all the fine print when I got the email confirming the card. But 12 months equal payments, at 29.99% interest is not a promotional anything. That’s one of the worst rates I’ve ever seen on a credit card, and 12 month equal payments does nothing but guarantee that your payments are high. I have paid almost $1000 to them in four months, and my principal has gone down less than $300. I just took out a loan to pay them off in full, so I can cancel, and never have to deal with them again. I will tell anyone and everyone my experience with this company. When I spoke to customer service, asking if there was a way to lower my interest rate, or to put me on one of their plans other than the equal payments, I was told by the customer service rep in a haughty tone that I quote “should have read what I was agreeing to” and “why would we lower it? That’s what you signed up for”. They even made me call a separate company and cancel the insurance myself. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
Be careful with Flexiti
Be careful with Flexiti. They have a lot of hidden fees and some of the worst customer service representatives who argue with customers instead of listening to understand. They may have you subscribe to insurance without your knowledge, and when you complain about it, they will refer you to another company while continuing to charge interest on insurance you may not even be aware of. Very dishonest and a rip-off. Avoid them at all costs!
