Wouldn't even approve me
Wouldn't even approve me. Hope the worst for this company and all involved with it
Trap: large annual fee for a small credit amount
For such a small credit amount available, they charge an annual fee of $24.99 and they don't disclose this upfront. Big trap for an unsuspecting customer.
Do NOT use Flexiti
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
1. They make it very hard to understand what you owe on payment options, if you ask them to send you a comprehensive breakdown they will ignore your request (I asked twice) and was charged for missing 40-50$ on my payments (for 3 months in a row) even though I paid EXACTLY what the "Next payment due" amount said atleast 5 business days before due.
2. Their support will not help if you ask questions, related to #1.
3. They charge an INSANE amount of interest on payments, sometimes north of 20-30%
4. They are well known for stonewalling you and not answering questions so they can charge increased interest/fines for "missing" payments even if you are asking for assistance in understanding their system.
Believe all the bad reviews, do not use Flexiti it'll be MUCH better for you to go to the bank instead as you will pay crazy high amounts to use their services.
Instead of making monthly payments I just took 2000$ off my credit card and paid off my entire debt to Flexiti so I could stop using them forever.
Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost. A company with zero ethics and zero customer care. They will do their best to siphon any fees they can charge you.
payment insurance
There is an insurance company that collaborates with Flexiti "TGI Company". They charge you monthly with a single question " Would you like to enroll in Simple Secure insurance and protect your payments?" Saying "yes" will incur a charge. I can't even remember if I said "yes," and despite my repeated emails to the TGI Company to clarify, they refused to accept my explanation.
Don't do it 😑 Flexibility is in the…
Loan sharks - stay far away 😑 . If you don't pay by the date you're slapped with accrued interest at 31%. Better to use installments on your credit card or you will lose money big time.

These guys are criminals
These guys are criminals. Do not do business with them - stick to your bank if you can and their credit lines. I went to Trade Appliances to buy a water filtration system. I asked about financing and they opened an account for me with Flexiti. After sending in my driver's license and reading their terms and conditions I decided to not get financing. I called Flexiti to cancel my account without having done one purchase and they said they needed to verify my credentials. First they asked for a picture of the front and back of my drivers license. Then they said that the picture wasn't clear enough so they sent a link for me to scan my drivers license but their link didn't function. Then they asked me to take a picture of my passport with photo page and personal information. And THEN they asked me to take a selfie of me holding my driver's license which is when I told them to go f@(× themselves, that they were scammers and frauds. I called multiple times to close my account and they just wont do it. Stay away from these low lives.
Their interest rates are pretty high…
Their interest rates are pretty high but you know what to expect. You get a bill and if you pay it on time, they leave you alone. I can confirm that they are now indeed reporting my payments to Equifax, but this only began recently although I have had the account since 2021. It looks like it raised my credit score because of the good payment history. It’s about time they started reporting more than delinquencies against people though.
DONT USE FLEXITI
Terrible company, similar business practices of loan sharks, money mart, etc. Husband and I decided to get a new wedding set for our 18 year anniversary, and we were approved on credit. Unbeknownst to us, it wasn't an actual credit card company that approved us, it was Flexiti. It is a company that has a very high interest rate. This put us in a terrible financial state, as with this approval, we were approved for $2500 on a $2331 ring set. We did not pay it within the promotional period, so they tacked on the interest accrued from that 18 month period. Thus increasing our balance owing to just under $4300. It was our mistake in not taking care of it before hand. However because it was over the credit limit that we were approved for, not only did we get charged interest, we also got charged $29 every month for an overlimit fee. So every month we were paying the interest, and overlimit fee and not making any headway. We just paid the entire balance off. If we hadn't, we would never have gotten it paid off. The monthly statement shows how long it will take to pay off. If you do the calculations, it shows you end up paying almost triple the original cost. Canceling this card, as this was one of the worst financial decisions. And what is even worst, they don't report to the Credit Bureau so it doesn't help your credit score at all, unless they send you to collections for non payment. I would never recommend this card to anyone. Not sure how big companies like the Brick, Charms, Crescent, etc are ok with being associated with a business as unethical as this one.
Do Not ever go with these robbers!!
Do Not ever go with these robbers!!! They will try to rip you off at anyway they could!!!!
They will charge you 32% interest if you paid one day after the due date and even if it was a fault by one of their ignorant agents that give you a wrong info intentionally to ruin you!!!
one of the worst of a lot of bad online companies
Out of the blue i start getting bills for a card i did not apply for. This continued until the amount owing got ridiculous. Tried customer service got no where. Had my laywer write them a letter telling them to get lost. havent heard from them since. Scumbag outfit with people employed who know exactly what is going on.
Fraud Company
They sneakily shoved some insurance garbage into my account without my consent! I logged in, and BAM! Global Insurance is threatening to snatch $45 from me every month! What a bunch of scammers! This is beyond infuriating!
Cheaters
This guys brutally steal hard earned money , unfortunately nobody cares and they remain in business to harass honest people
I paid extra money on account ,and that was reason I ve been charged interest ::))
Loan Shark company-fraudster
I had a terrible experience with Flexiti for the first time. I purchased a laptop from staples with promotional plan 13 months no interest, no payment which seemed reasonable. However, after the grace period, I made payment in full, 10 days later I was shocked to find out that I have interest charge for $456.00 which was 50 % interest rate was calculated since day one of the purchase date because Flexiti email me that I have balance owing, so I make a call to Flexiti and Spoke to customer service, I have to call 3 times, they hung on me the second time, the customer service rep asked to email them proof of payment which was ridiculous because they can actually see the payment on my account, anyway I finally able to speak to customer service and he told me I made late payment, I said NO I did not, I made the payment on Jan 29 because when I log into my account, it said there clearly the due date is Jan 31 even the statement said due date Jan 31, so after an argument with him he agreed to waive $325.00 I still have to pay $131.00, Fine I will pay it there is no point keep trying to argue with this kind of scammer, that is how they get your money. He told me my Promotional Plan expire on Jan 27 which fall on the weekend so I made payment on Jan 29 which was the next business which I think It is consider on time even CRA recognized that rule when payment received on the next business day that will be consider on time. My trouble is why they have to put statement due date on Jan 31 not Jan 27 then it will not give misleading information. I am fine paying the interest if that is my fault, but in this case I go by the statement due date, I strongly advise against using Flexsiti for payments. Anyway I am done with this loan shark company. I am going to close my account in a couple of days after they receive my payment, I will not be doing any business with them going forward, If I could rate them lower than one star, I would give them negative 1000. I question how they remain in business when their practices are so questionable. Customer service lack of skills and they will co-operate and understand your situation while the error is not at my end.
I had a terrible experience with…
I had a terrible experience with Flexiti for the first time. My wife purchased a ring from a jewelry store with a few months of interest-free payments, which seemed reasonable. However, after the grace period, I was shocked to find out that the interest was calculated monthly rather than annually. With a balance of $1450, the interest amounted to $889, and when I contacted customer service, they informed me that it could jump by another $600-$700 the following month. This kind of interest rate, nearly 50% monthly, is outrageous and unheard of. I strongly advise against using FlexSHITI for payments if you're faced with such exorbitant interest rates. It's a classic case of "too good to be true." I was skeptical from the beginning, especially with their enticing offers and lack of communication. If I could rate them lower than one star, I would. I question how they remain in business when their practices are so questionable. Customer service ratings don't reflect the financial burden customers face, which is why I don't solely rely on them.
Class action lawsuit anyone?
OVERPAID BY two months
1. Call - they can't fix it on the phone
2. They send an email with a link
** then they ask for my banking information: account and password!!!!
which they would already have.
3. You can't get a refund for a month
NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN
I seriously doubt I will get my money back
Class action lawsuit anyone?
Do NOT engage with this company
Do NOT engage in ANY business dealings with this corporation! They may start off treating you with seeming respect BUT they are manipulators WHO DO NOT respect basic business practices much less the law. We started with this firm in May 2022. Being on a limited pension budget and needing a new mattress, we were lured into using them because of the ease of getting their 'financing' through the furniture company. As we engaged in a formalized wedding, we used them for more items in the early spring of 2023. Easy peasy. We are NOT stupid. Their 'contract signing fees' make their financing ludicrous compared to bank financing. Convenient. "Interest free!" financing, so they shouted on more documents... And then... We are on meagre pensions. We get paid once per month at the end of each month. WE specifically asked about due dates with each purchase and understood that these would be the 27th of each month. This was so. Indeed, one month this summer the due date was the 28th... Then, suddenly, in October 2023, their due date arbitrarily became the 23rd. And again in November. We called, asked why. They claimed it was their 'billing cycle'. We asked them to ensure that it was the 27th of each month as provided by EVERY other business we deal with. They refused. In December, their 'due date' changed to December 22. Today, because we refuse to play their games, we received a threatening call from one of their 'agents'. I listened to this gal tell us that, because December 23 was a Saturday, they arbitrarily advanced this 'due date' to December 22. CANADIAN LAW FORBIDS THIS. IF a due date falls on a weekend OR holiday, the business is to change it to the first day AFTER that holiday happens. WHICH MEANS that, even IF this company had ANY LEGAL right to change these due dates, they should have had a December due date of December 26, 2023. IT IS CLEAR that they DO NOT care one whit about contractual rights of ANY CLIENT. STAY AWAY from these vultures!!! Don MacAlpine, Regina, Saskatchewan CANADA
