Loving my first ebike from Freedare
Loving my first ebike from Freedare. After about 3 weeks of research on what I was actually looking for in an ebike, I decided to purchase from them. At the time, they offered a nice discount on 2 ebikes and I was impressed by the offerings and features of the step-over Saiga and step-through Eden models. Ordering was a breeze, and the bikes shipped super fast. Assembly wasn't hard at all, especially since they provide a video as well as other videos on YouTube. After riding this ebike for almost 2 years, I can say this was a wise choice. The bike's 750W motor use torque sensors, which respond to how much power you deliver to peddling and depending on what peddle assist level you have the bike on. They allow you too get a workout when you like, while giving you the necessary power to pull some of the toughest hills, and therefore extending the range of your rides. The build quality is terrific and everything on this bike worked as advertised. The frame is solid, braking is responsive, LCD display screen is easy to read, the thumb throttle allows for safer power delivery, the 7 speed gear shifter system is smooth, the sensitive anti-theft system is a plus, and they have a comprehensive app that provides info on your bike, gps, and gives you options for routes. After my first ride of 12 miles I noticed some subtle things I needed to change like a softer bike seat and I added a shock absorbing seat post to help with longer rides on bumpy terrains. So far, I've tested this bike in grass, gravel, sand, dirt, and asphalt. No matter if you're going
uphill, downhill, or on flat ground, this bike navigates all with ease. The battery life has been great for almost 2 years, even though I only ride in temperatures of the mid 50's to the high 90's. I did notice that on a full charge to about 70 percent I can reach speeds of 28 to 31 mph off full throttle (flat to slightly downhill), but when I dip below 70 to 40 percent, full speed from the throttle alone only reaches about 25mph. To me that's still pretty decent and a respectable pace to get anywhere you need to go in ample time. So far, the only time I have contacted customer service is about bike features and connectivity with the app. They've been very helpful and extremely reliable. I'm always getting compliments on the bike and folks seem interested in buying. I implore anyone looking for an e-bike to give this company a look. You won't be disappointed.
