FreshPet has completely won Finley over!

My dog Finley absolutely loves FreshPet. He refuses to touch his old (and expensive!) kibble, and I’ve got about $100 worth of it just sitting in the pantry now. His excitement for mealtime and how quickly he finishes Freshpet speaks volumes. Knowing I’m feeding him something healthier makes me feel so much better as a pet parent. I want Finley to have a long, happy life, and Freshpet feels like the right choice to support that. We'll definitely be sticking with it.

Loyal customer

Loyal customer. Started using it back in 2017 when I was told that my dog only had two months to live. A friend recommended adding this food to her diet. Since I could not afford to only feed her Freshpet she was given it 4x/week. She lived for 2 YEARS! She revereted backwards and started acting like a puppy! After that I began to feed to my dogs 2-3 times a week and dry food on other days due to economic issues. Hopefully one day my finances will improve and all 3 of my dogs will be able to only eat Freshpet everyday.

Clean bowl everytime!

My dog absolutely loves everything from Freshpet, especially the turkey bacon treats. He gets very excited when the fridge door is open and he sees them! The bowl is always licked clean with the meals and he has had no upset tummy since changing dog foods which we have experienced with other suppliers :)

After seeing the TV advert

After seeing the TV advert, I order some of this human grade cat food, which “Daisy” was thoroughly impressed! The meals are made with high-quality, fresh ingredients and delivered right to my door in insulated packaging.

The convenience of being able to order for delivery means i can try new flavours keeping things exciting for my cat. While it's a bit pricier than regular cat food, the health benefits—shiny coat and increased energy—are totally worth it. Highly recommend for any cat owner looking to upgrade their pet's diet!

The dogs love the food and I know…

The dogs love the food and I know longer have to go from store to store to find it when my local store is out.❤️. However 18 bags were too many to keep in the freezer. I called and the gal I talked to was was very understanding and compassionate. Great customer service!

Absolutely shocking service!!

Absolutely shocking service!!! The product is never delivered within the promised timeframe! Customer service says things are sorted that clearly aren’t! Such a shame! My dog has been fed Freshpet for years - we are extremely loyal customers, but the loyalty is not at all repaid. My poor dog now has an upset stomach because I’ve had to feed him different food whilst waiting SOOOO long for his delivery of Freshpet to arrive! False promises!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are very new at direct to customer deliveries and we are aware that the service is not perfect just yet. We are also sorry that our customer care centre let you down by not resolving this right away. Our customer contact centre does try very hard to return calls and resolve issues first time around, but it is not always possible. It is also sometimes difficult to reconnect with our customers as we appreciate people lead busy lives. This is why our 0800 00 96185 number is manned 7 days a week 365 days a year. If you are struggling to get a response we also offer an email service freshpet@confero.co.uk.

Lastly we also deeply regret that you haven't been able to find our recipes. We are catching up on stabilising our inventory. As many food companies have experienced this past year, we have faced challenges with getting ingredient deliveries timely and staffing shortages both internally and externally have impacted our timeline. In addition, the demand for our food has increased tremendously. While our production staff is working 24/7 it is taking a bit longer than anticipated to fully replenish our stock. Again sorry we let you down, we’d like to investigate further and help get this resolved.

A treat for our furry foodie

Our puppy Gravy is very food-motivated so food plays a big role. After noticing that most dog treats lack nutritional value, we've started preparing most of his meals at home. Trying Freshpet has been great - it not only looks like real, wholesome food, but it’s also something Gravy loves! Perfect addition to his diet.

Simply the Best

Freshpet has been amazing since day one. My dogs love the food and I know it's healthy for them. Before finding Freshpet I tried Farmer's Dog, Raw Food, and Ollie, all of which I had product quality issues and shipping issues. Freshpet takes the hassle out of fresh, healthy, real food for your fur-babies. I highly recommend Freshpet to everyone!

Gut, Skin, licking all better!!

My dog has been licking his leg and paws like crazy. He has also had stomach issues along with loosing hair in several areas for quite some time. (oh yea he is a very picky eater also!)
He absolutely loves Freshpet. The hair is starting to grow back, his poops have been nice and solid and no blood in his stools. The licking has slowed tremendously. Most of all at 9 he now has more life in him!!

No Customer Service

Started a subscription, took my money instantly, but over 48h later, still not even a packing confirmation. No indication at all when the food will be sent let alone delivered.

Same as other reviewers, their customer service is also non existent. Doesn't answer the phone and doesn't even list a contact email address.

UPDATE:
To be fair to them when I finally got through they were helpful and friendly and refunded me. So upped this to 3 stars

Adjustment to new foods

It took some time for Hans to eat the food...but, he did seem to eat without rebuke the shredded chicken...just takes time. He's eaten Fresh Pet in the 'logs' for a few years...but, it's more like the texture of this newer version of Fresh Pet that is taking some time. Patience required.

Dogs love the food but have two…

Dogs love the food but have two different sizes of same chicken product. Both are tender chicken but one with 57g portion size is and the larger one has 114g portions but can’t find any information on why or if it’s more condensed hence the smaller size and servings. And the smaller dog selection has the 57g portions but they are high protein. Confused.

I wouldn't buy anything else

I wouldn't buy anything else. I honestly believe our pug would pack her knotted hankie and leave home if she didnt have her freshpet. I have to bulk buy it as it really satisfies her hunger. Thank you everyone at freshpet for creating such wonderful recipes that delight.

Poor Customer Service

Food is good but the recent changes to the subscription option is not good.
I have been a subscription customer for a number of years but the changes mean that the food our dog eats is no longer included.
This means ordering from the a la carte menu which attracts a £7.95 delivery charge.
Poor communication and customer service. No reply to emails or phone calls.
As another reviewer said my original subscription was cancelled with no prior warning and I had to ask for the promised credit voucher.
Why try and fix something that wasn’t broken?

Cats won’t eat this

Considering all the advertising and hype, I thought I would try Freshpet for cats. I bought the tender chicken version with high hopes. Unfortunately, nether of my cats would eat it. Even my cat that pretty much likes everything, food wise, would not touch it. I only gave it two stars instead of one since it does smell good.

Great food but terrible customer service

Unfortunately i will not be using Freshpet again.
My order was not received and i have sent a number of emails and called your customer services department only to receive a case number and empty promises.
To claim my money back, I’ve had to dispute the payment through my bank .
I understand issues can arise from time to time but due to the terrible service, I wouldn’t order from this company again. Im still being ignored by Freshpet to claim my money back.
It’s a shame as my dog loved the food.

The food was GREEN with MOULD!! SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The food was green with mould!!! We contacted them and they sent a £10 voucher after my Dog was violently sick all night! Disgusting service, obviously do not care about pets whilst putting profits first. THE FOOD COST £10!!
I have taken pictures to prove. They should have offered a goodwill gesture to restore our confidence in their product.

Great food but absolutely shamble of…

Great food but absolutely shamble of service they will send you to s******** you don't want they will replace the missing stock with something else you didn't order or your dog doesn't eat. They claim that they won't send you money back because T/C normal company will ask customers do they want a replacement before they send you s********* from warehouse stock that nobody buys absolute 0 waste of time and money on that food.

We make fresh cat and dog food and use human grade ingredients, sometimes we have to make substitutions due to these fresh ingredients not being available.

For example, our beef roll... there is a global shortage of grass fed beef and we do not compromise on quality and will not use anything less... not dry or frozen or by-products. We can assure you that all of our recipes are made to the same standard and this is why our furry friends love Freshpet... its fresh from start to finish. Our terms and conditions make this very clear, so we are very sorry you are upset that we have made a substitution, and so are we. Unfortunately as we navigate the world post covid we have issues in both transport and ingredients... both out of our control we are trying very hard and so are our partners.
