We signed with Glofox in February and opened presale in March. A week into presale, the payment processing went down. It took them 25 DAYS to fix it.
During the time that the system was down, we were given no ETA for when it would be fixed. We were forced to put in place a patch to take payments through our website and then onboard an entirely new gym management platform, which has delayed our opening and completely derailed all of our presale momentum. When I asked for a refund because the system was only actually working for a week, I was ignored. When I asked to cancel, no one got back to me for weeks. I finally had to CLOSE OUR BUSINESS BANK ACCOUNT in order to prevent GloFox from continuing to fraudulently charge us for a service that was nonfunctioning and that I had already cancelled. Now they are actively still trying to get us to pay a month later. Their customer service is an actual nightmare. And in fact, the day the platform went down, I called and emailed them, only to find out that it was a "GloFox Day of Disconnect" in which apparently they all go on vacation and leave customers to fend for themselves. I have worked with many technology platforms over the years, and this was BY FAR the WORST experience I have ever had. It's not just mismanagement, it's fraud. They were not providing the service promised, and have refused to return our money. As it stands we are out over $1000 in fees for a platform that didn't work. If I had the time and money to sue them I would.
Their support system works really well and they answer really fast. Also their booking system is easy to implement

We’ve had a great experience with GloFox so far. Our gym runs entirely through their platform, and it’s been smooth from the start.
During our opening, their team was there step-by-step to answer questions and make sure everything was set up correctly, which made a huge difference. Since then, we haven’t had any issues, and the system has been reliable for both our staff and members.
Our members really enjoy using the app—it’s easy to navigate and makes booking and managing their workouts simple.
We’ve also noticed consistent updates and improvements, which shows they actually listen to their customers and are focused on growing and getting better.
Highly recommend GloFox to any gym owner looking for a solid, user-friendly system.

The absolute worst gym software on the market. They have no understanding of GDPR and clients can delete their data entirely piece by piece in their app with no record or backup kept of what was there before. If your clients owe you money, nevermind, they can just remove their name, address, telephone number etc leaving you with no data to work with. No time stamps on notes created leaves you in murky waters as courts expect a date and time stamped on system notes. Companies are entitled to retain customer data when it relates to financial transactions or if there is a legitimate reason to do so for example a legal dispute. Imagine a horrible false allegation where your evidence is swiped away by the accuser instantly with no questions asked :D
If you want your business to thrive and grow both financially and in terms of membership numbers, stear well clear of Glofox.

Glofox consistently provides excellent customer service and quickly resolves any issues I’ve encountered. They are receptive to system suggestions and, at times, able to implement them. Their creative team is always coming up with new and innovative app features.
I have started using the app about 10 months ago. It has a lot of functions that I needed to run everything more centralized at my yoga studio, so it has helped a lot, especially in managing the booking, keeping track of all customers, transactions and communication.
It has helped me the overall running of the studio as it has saved me some time of the tasks I used to do manually. ;)

We’ve had a great experience using Glofox for our children’s learning center, especially with our drop-in third space model. Our business offers a wide range of options—from hourly drop-ins to classes, camps, and events—and the platform has been able to handle all of that seamlessly.
The app is intuitive for both our team and our families, and we’ve had very minimal glitches or complaints from parents, which is huge for day-to-day operations. It’s made managing bookings, credits, and scheduling so much more efficient.
The onboarding process was also wonderful—clear, supportive, and well-organized—which made getting started much easier than expected.

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Glofox. There have been large, unexpected charges pulled from my bank account without clear explanation, which is unacceptable for any business owner. On top of that, the platform has repeatedly shown inaccurate credit tracking for clients, creating confusion and extra work on my end.
The reporting tools have also been unreliable—income reporting is inconsistent, which directly impacts my ability to manage finances and prepare for taxes accurately. As a business owner, that’s a huge issue.
Overall, the lack of transparency and reliability has made it difficult to trust this platform, and I would not recommend it.

I opened my own Boutique Fitness Studio in May 2025 and was looking for easy-to-use software. I was previously using Wellness Living (at the studio I was teaching before), but didn't need all the bells and whistles that make things much more complicated and glitchy. I was used to Trainerize, so using Glofox made sense. I had a great introductory call and signed up on the spot. I love the easy-to-use software; there hasn't been any service interruption since using it. The software runs smoothly and doesn't really need any explanation. I wish there were a few features that I was used to before, but overall, for any small studios, this is a great service for a very great price that does everything, including billing, marketing, sales, etc.

They weren’t transparent with pricing; only put one tariff forward to me rather than giving all available options and letting me choose, they didn’t include VAT in the price so this was added on my first invoice, and they got me to sign onto the contract on the initial video call so I felt pressured and it made me not want to read the small print. The price is expensive.

Signed up end of August. They couldn't help me migrate data or finish the set up for months and have the audacity to keep charging me even though I don't use their system. Do not register with these guys unless they can clearly map out how to migrate your contacts, when and how.
