Best buses in the North East

Best buses in the North East, but there should be more x21s on because its a quicker way to Newcastle from durham all buses should be go north east. Cleanest, polite bus drivers and always the best for me.

Once again the 7:41 x45 to Newcastle…

Once again the 7:41 x45 to Newcastle was a no show, stood waiting outside in the snow for over half an hour, the x45 to Consett went past but never came back to go the other way, it's ridiculous how there are no other options so you're stuck with this terribly ran company, there has been a decrease in services so there's less busses on the road yet the prices are going up? You're either employing morons or your staff couldn't care in the slightest

Service 20 to Durham.Worst service in…

Service 20 to Durham.Worst service in the country.Buses late and not turning up.Yesterday I waited for 50 mins at Eden vale but none turned up even though I seen one going to the interchange.I work at uhnd in Durham and I pay£1000 per year for my bus pass through work.Its daylight robbery for a crappy service which has got worse over the last few months!

Dude where's my bus?!?

Tracking my first bus on the app, was 17mins late but still due to arrive. Next time I looked the bus was no longer in the app. Had to scrounge a lift to my connection point. Got there and the bus that was due didn't appear on the app but then turned 10mins late...and was not on the app so couldn't track my ETA. How you expect people to swap from cars to buses with a service like this is beyond me.

Return journey, been at Eldon square since 19:15 for the 19:25 bus home. All on target according to the the app and the digital notice board above the stop. Get to 19:26 and the notice board changes to 19:55 and the bus disappears from the app. GO NORTH EAST...no hard feelings oto the workers but your management you suck! I hope you're not paying them bonuses for such a poor service.

Grossly dishonest company

Waited for a 52. 2 mins before arrival due and live online update showed 6.01 from Arden Grove bus not coming. Showed next one 6.33pm. Crossed road for 52 for other direction and next one from there also didn't turn up. Uncaring, dis honest and disgusting time wasting joke of a so-called company! Total time wasting c€@$$y service!

got the x21 from todhoe wanted to go to…

got the x21 from tudhoe wanted to go to durham rd whats about three or four stops before spennymoor town centre and the driver charged me £2.60 for the ticket i got home and he had charged me to go to bishop auckland to tindle crescent what con artist wont be using them again very poor service this should of only been around half that, disgusted in the bus driver .con. con.con

Possibly the worst bus service in the…

Possibly the worst bus service in the world. Either you get to work late because they don’t show up or when you’re finished from work the buses are delayed for over 30 minutes. The worst one is probably the 35A. It’s like the drivers decide to waste time and they’ll arrive late or just decide not to show up on time. Sick of it. And the bus fares going up is just ridiculous. Charging more money for a useless service

No Show AGAIN

Yet again the 54 never showed up at 1:01pm,the 1:21pm didnt show up either,this is EVERY week now.Ended up getting a taxi again.This service has to be the worst of the worst.Absolutely disgusting,and as for the route,a tour of the Quayside instead of going across the Tyne Bridge,sounds about right.

A non existing so called public transport company …

How does this company continues to operate. Totally useless unable to operate to any recognised timetable, leave passengers at stops, take the wrong route, I could go on oh and can't be contacted from Friday till Monday. Getting constantly worse and still blaming covid. No go north east a bus company not to be proud of.

Worst Public Transport Company Ever

Hands down the worst public transportation company in the country. I have lost count of how many complaints I have put in about their services and almost every time I am ignored and receive no feedback or when they do decide to respond, their customer service is awful. On more than one occasion I have more or less been branded a liar in regards to complaints I’ve made about their busses not showing or blatantly driving straight past me despite signalling the driver to stop.

Their services have caused me to be pulled into meetings at work with management in regards to lateness (I have tried catching an earlier bus but the outcome is no different) and they cost me around £100 or more per month in docked wages due to lateness and taxi fares combined - on top of their appalling prices which seem to increase every couple of months despite no change in the service.

The driver of the 10.58am number 12 bus…

The driver of the 10.58am number 12 bus from Eldon Square Bus Station on 11/11/2022 was the most rudest and aggressive person I have ever encountered. He should be thoroughly ashamed of himself. I have put in a complaint to the company regarding his behaviour. He had a cockney accent. His behaviour may be normal in London but it is certainly not acceptable in the North East of England. Disgusting service.

Always a delay or no show...IN THE FREEKING COLD!!!

Hi, your service has been aweful for some weeks now. The buses never keep to time. They are always late and sometimes keep customers in the cold for as long as 40mins. I have been waiting for a bus 24 from wheatsheaf to south shields since 5:10pm and this is 5:50pm and still we are been notified that the bus has 12 minutes delay. If this continues I would be forced to use another bus service provider even if it's a longer route. We can't be left in the cold. Whatever happened to you following your itinerary. This is not the 1st time. Bus 24 never timely. Just aweful and disappointing. Sometimes bus 50 to Washington just doesn't show up. It's ridiculously how a company can just be aweful

Dangerous Drivers

Dangerous drivers ignoring road signs; Circular signs give orders - they must be followed to stay within the law. It would be good if the drivers took note of this. May only be a minority of drivers, but they are supposed to be professionals.

The Go North East x1 service on a…

The Go North East x1 service on a Sunday afternoon or early afternoon has the habit of just not turning up?!

After waiting 30 minutes I was lucky to get on onboard an out-of-schedule bus and asked the driver what happened to the 17:07 service, "No idea" was the response.

If a service runs twice per hour and one doesn't show up your only guarantee is that you can expect to wait over 30mins until one shows.
Pull your socks up Go North East. If services standards are dropping then so should the journeys travel charges?

The x45 service from Consett used to be…

The x45 service from Consett used to be really reliable but now they cancel loads of them or they're late. The only other option is the 47 which goes around the world and stops at bus stops for ages with no explanation when the bus is already late. Its so difficult to make plans now as you cannot rely on the bus services. Please someone take the reigns and improve this company and their services.

Some of the staff are rude...there is never and security staff on the bus to deal with unruly passengers..you have to put ip with anti social behaviour if you day any thing you get a mouth full..or get off the bus..go north wast

Used to be a good service but now an absolute joke buses don't turn up or are taken out of service had to wait an hour today for a number 10 in the freezing cold-my son's bus broke down no other bus was offered-no buses showed up so he's had a 1and a half hour walk in the cold and dark to get home unacceptable

POP U19S CARD

LATE. UNRELIABLE. RUDE. EXPENSIVE. INCOMPETENT. INEPT.
awful - tried to buy an under 19s single on my debit card, but bus driver said i needed ID - but i’ve been told at the travel desk that with pop blue you don’t need ID as long as you have money on, bus driver wouldn’t even let me put my blue card on the scanner - forcing me to pay adults fare. honestly so rude - this was the second bus of the night as the first drove straight past me even though my arm was fully out when the bus driver was well above the road giving him more than wuffiecent time to break.
