I order 1 VPS (I'm from outside EU)

I order 1 VPS (I'm from outside EU). The tax had been added to my invoice and I opened a ticket for a tax remove as they mentioned on lowendtalk.

After 48 hours, they answered me the tax had been removed from the invoice. However, the tax had not been removed as they answered me.

Let a customer has to wait 48 hours after submitting ticket & answered the non-correct one.

I do not want try any services at the first see like this, so I quited.

Disappointed

After a few days, the poor IPv6 performance got a bit better. Still slow (2 MB/sec), but stable. No more TCP timeouts.

So I tried to set rDNS for IPv6 and failed. I created a ticket. Support said: this is not possible with the admin panel.

Then I created another ticket: please set IPv6 rDNS. Support said: not possible at that VPS location.

This is 2019, there is no excuse for this IMHO.

I have spent quite some time to build my new email VPS, and now I had to cancel it. A mail server without proper rDNS is useless.

BTW, it would be great if they'd send out emails when a ticket was updated. I never got a single one, I have even checked my mail server's mail logs.

Once again, expecting too much for the price you pay.
Also, is 2 reviews neccessary? You could have just updated your original one and removed a star.
Your expectations are unrealistic and you honestly seem like a competitor more than a legitimate client picking the smallest thing they can complain about.
We are open about our operation and make it very clear we lease the hardware we use from DCs. Most DCs do not provide an interface or tool to set IPv6 PTR which 99% of our sane clientelle know.
We control our subnets in LA so only in LA is this possible.
You opened a ticket which recieved a timely response and addressed all your requests except one which was not possible. It mentioned in our knowledgebase which you would have known had you used the time to read our knowledgebase rather than posting 2 identical reviews.
Your mail has issues, not us. Every other client gets their ticket updates via mail except you. Did you also spend quite a bit of time setting that up? Perhaps further time should be dedicated to it because it seems to not function properly.

We provide an unmanaged service hence why the prices are able to be so low.
Should you require assistance with hardware or the network, we are available 24/7 to provide an immediate response as you have found out using our support channels.
Our site presents you with our terms of service. If for any reason it has been missed, it is then forced on you to read at the final stage of check out. You have to click that you have read and understand our terms before proceeding. You placed an order successfully so it is assumed you read and understood the terms.
In the terms, as well as pointing out your service is unmanaged, it is also mentioned you get zero support for Windows installations.
For Linux, support can and does go beyond just hardware and network, but we will not support a Windows installation in the slightest. It is assumed you know what you are doing and have the relevant licenses to do so.

Recommended, good to very good value and very good support

I have bought a VPS from HostDoc during Black Friday. Apart from the little bit of confusion generated by the many site that the HostDoc is selling on (hosting, kvm.doctor, etc) and what is included in the promotion and what not, I have to say that the experience was very pleasant.
It took some time to get everything sorted out, which is very understandable given the period, but it got sorted out quite nicely and to my satisfaction. I didn't get the plan that I wanted because it was not included in the promotion (not very obvious to me), but the staff sorted it out (shout out to Chike) and in the end I got 2 VPSes for the price of one as the promotion stated.
The first one that got provisioned is very fast and very satisfactory The drive is not the fastest (HDD), and I was hoping for SAN storage, but in the end is not so bad, as I do not need SSD speeds for this instance.
All in all, very good support, very good value for pound and a nice attitude towards the client. I can recommend them.

wrong IPv6 settings

Ticket response time is long
IPv6 settings are wrong, with those settings the default gateway is unreachable
There is a UI for setting rDNS that does not work
VPS network performance is poor, 1-2 MB/sec.

You seem to expect much more for the prices you pay.
Yes, our ticket responses can on occassion be up to 6 hours. That is still much better than a lot of bigger outfits who charge more than us for similar services. If a fast response is needed, live chat is available including in our client area. Did you ever use it?
As mentioned in our knowledgebase if you decided to read rather than leaving 2 seperate negative reviews, rDNS is currently only supported in LA via our UI. All other rDNS requests need to be handled via ticket.
You have a lot of time for leaving reviews but non to read knowledgebases or open tickets and be patient for a response. Did you contact us regarding this network issue that only you seemed to experience? We would have happily investigated

It is not our fault you purchase an unmanaged service if you do not know how to manage Linux servers.
Your complaint was our server is saturated because your VPS load read 0.07?
That is a ridiculous complaint.

You would have an email if you were a client with which you could follow to leave a verified review.
If you are a client, a ticket can be opened.
Regarding throttling, yes, VMs are throttled when using more than your fair share of resources. Not before.
I think you are angry because you felt entitled to more than you paid until reality hit and you realized we monitor and throttle usage accordingly

Why didn't I open vps for me and didn't give me a refund?

20191117。First of all, I am not fraudulent, I just don't want to reveal too much personal privacy. Second, if other service providers determine fraud, they will provide a refund. And you don't open the service and don't provide a refund. I am disappointed. Third, you can't refund it, I accept it. But I want to tell others about your non-service and no refund, lest they lose money.

20191117。Fourth, I do not want to take care of your service. But I received a message, invited me to evaluate your service. So I was evaluated.

You signed up with fraudulent details to bypass our anti fraud.
Upon manual investigation, we suspended your non refundable plan and requested that you provide ID documentation.
You refused and a pro-rata refund was immediately issued.
You paid £5/y for a promotional plan and attempted a further 4 fraudulent sign ups after.

UPDATE: A refund was processed more than a month ago.
You opened 4 fraudulent accounts
