I love the fact that I have ink whenever I need it, and I find the price very competative. I would have awarded 5 stars, but the website is full of bugs and keeps crashing when I am trying to access... See more

HP's Instant Ink system caused my printer to reject brand new genuine HP cartridges — that HP had mailed to me — at 2am, the night before a major event I was running for 60 people.
Result:
❌ Hours on hold with HP support
❌ 1.5 hours of sleep
❌ $293 spent at a copy shop
❌ Only half my materials printed
❌ Led a 60-person event exhausted and underprepared
✅ HP's compensation offer: $12 (one free month of Instant Ink)
HP's own paid subscription service failed me in the middle of the night and they won't make it right by reimbursing me for the $293 I had to spend because of their products' problems.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Do Not buy HP instant ink with Printer subscription where they promise you to replace printer in 2 business days if broken. We are a small business that heavily relays on printer. We have been asking HP for 3 months to replace and we have been on calls for hours where they kept changing settings, driver updates to saying okay we will replace printer ink heads to finally agreering after months that it’s broken. Guess what that was May 18th when they placed an order to replace our printer and today is May 24th and we still have no printer. When we called there response was we can escalate it but we don’t know when it will ship. We requested cancellation of subscription so we can get a local printer and they said they will charge the cancellation of $375. So we cannot cancel it cannot get a printer that they promised.
Instant ink is a rip off for the casual home printer and you can only get a representative in the Philippines on the phone. Instant ink commandeered my own personally purchased from Staples ink cartridges and forced me to use them before any instant ink ones while I had to pay them monthly to use my own expensive ink. Then they will shut the ink off if you cancel it. The representative in the Philippines will tell you that the only option they have here to solve your problem is for you to renew your subscription to instant ink. I will never buy another HP product ever again and I'm going to run this piece of sh#+ printer over with my truck!
Printer is always available. Don't have to think about ink. Flexible, you can change your package if you expect significant change to your printing needs
I have never had a problem with my ink supply and they have always arrived with sufficient time so as not to run out of ink before receiving my new delivery. Extremely happy with the service.
This product is still very useful. Even though I do not print as much as I used to do. Now being retired from my previous employment, I enjoy using the print for my hobbies. One being model railway construction. Several of the products/apps I use require a lot of print work. There is some savings here to be made on use of ink. Good knowing that I will not run out of ink and have to get new cartridges when the ink runs out!!. Only negative is still the high prices of ink. Thats the only minus.
The lady I spoke to was very knowledgable and helpful she helped me to re connect my pc to my printer
I am sick to death of trying to reach someone who can deal with changing my monthly charging plan. I do not want to chat on line - I just want to be able to contact someone by email and get matters sorted. Having to do everything on the website infuriates and if it weren't for the fact that my printer works very well I would leave HP and move to another organization.
Can someone please advise me how to change my monthly charging plan.
Thank you.

A great service, monitors usage of ink and sends replacements as and when ink starts to get low. This saves me time and cost of travel to find a supplier who sells the cartridges required.
dont know why ink was not shipped in first place, but once reportedproblem ,resolved very quick
When I renew my printer I won't be renewing my HP Instant Ink account.
Prices go up by more than inflation and the monthly plan I'm on does seem to be value for money anymore.
Monthly invoice keeps saying one of my cartridges is low and if I haven't received the replacement cartridge it will be sent without delay! That has been the note on my bill for at least the last 4 months and the printer is printing with no problems.
Avoid them like the plague. They made it difficult to cancel my unwanted and unneeded subscription: they ghosted my complaints that I wrote to them. But were sure to tell me that the ununused and unneeded cartridges, which my subscription paid for, would no longer work after my subscription ended.

Worst printer in my whole life.
I have tried hundreds of printer, but really HP is the worst company ever.
Once I have unsubscribe from HP instant Ink, all features (scan, printing and copy) became not working properly.
Just after unsubscribe.
This is not appropriate behaviour from an international company like this.
