Chose this as an alternative to Dropbox which worked perfectly, but became relatively expensive and onedrive which fell over when you use too many folders. DB was much easier to manage regarding syncing - I found Icedrive more difficult to use in that respect

Easy to use, fast and reliable satisfied customer.

I have tried numerous online backup services, and Icedrive has proved to be the best so far, though it is a little expensive. Files upload and download quickly, and the dashboard layout is very intuitive and easy to use.

Globally I like this application, it's simple and easy to use.
There are two things I've already asked Icedrive and still had no answer, they are:
Have a desktop extension to have direct access via the PC or Mac file browser and a media player, right now it's very annoying to listen to music from Icedrive we need to select the next music, it doesn't jump automatically.

Purchased a lifetime plan as I needed a robust file hosting service for my work and personal documents. Very easy to use, no fuss and no overly complicated controls. The mobile app is also very easy and straightforward. I have not used the desktop app yet.
I would highly recommend them.

I bought more than a year ago a lifetime plan of 3 TB and I am very happy with that: Icedrive is super fast and super reliable, zero problems at all. This is exactly what I need and expect from a cloud repository. Maybe for further improvement, I suggest to have more possibilities of preview of files before downloading, have the possibility to categorize files (photos for example) and above all have online synch (now you download file, modify and need to re-upload that).

Great experience. The service is reliable and user interface simple and smart. I really appretiace this cloud storage after more than one year usage.

I've used many cloud storage solutions in strange and unusual ways. IceDrive has worked consistently for the past 3 years, and I have certainly got my money's worth out of it.

Of the few times I have needed to contact support, they were quick to respond and transparent with their answers.

I am a lifetime user but the app is very bad compatible with iOS, the app no upgraded almost one year.

Got the 3TB Lifetime a few years back and love it. I can put everything into my Encrypted folder for more security. The upload rate is a little slow, but it does the job. Other than that the Windows and Android apps work very well. I also use the Sync folder option for spreadsheet and pics and such.

I have been with Icedrive for a few months now. I recently switched to a lifetime plan. I like that I have everything saved in different folders and I feel everything is safe there. I just wish my uploaded of video's went a little faster.

1 time pay is awesome, development is slow and still lacks some basic functions. Desktop app caches online storage which defeats offsite storage use case, work around is to use portable app or web interface (which work well enough). Service has had several outages with no RFO other than "we are back online". -A deal breaker for me. I have worked as a tech consultant and if my clients service went down for ANY amount of time I had to provide reason, time to remediate and mitigate to not allow the outage to happen again. Icedrive has done none of these things.

I use a PC and a laptop and work on projects on both interchangeably. This makes saving my work to a network drive crucial, and it has to be reliable. In the past, I used the MS option—while I never used the Office 365 package included, it was always clunky and uncomfortable to use. Icedrive is simple and keeps exactly the promise that OneDrive makes. You download an app, choose a plan, connect, click "Mount," and you have your network drive. No complications, no shenanigans.
Plus: If you use LibreOffice (instead of Word, Excel, etc.), you don't have to download the file to open it.
The only downside: If you work on one file across different computers, you have to delete the cache files manually — but that is not really a pain point.

I bought 10 tb year ago.. till today running perfect! No complaint at all! Every year they getting better and better! i really like the service and the price is the best of the market!

Icedrive is reasonably priced and does what it says. I have it loaded on several devices, including my mobile phone and have had minimal issues thus far. My only challege is not having enough control over where some auto-save items go, like photos from my phone backup. I never remember where they are and have to search for a while, but nonetheless, the information is there, which is what counts. Icedrive is also faster than my previous cloud service and offers more space for the price.

Great product, easy to use. Couple minor issues, when you perform a search for a specific file and the file is located, the results do not provide the path to it or file location. It's great that the file can be found but you're not told where the file is located for future reference. Would be nice to be able to schedule back-ups from another source/location to the icedrive.

Good product, still to be improved, sometimes a few files are not synced, better to double-check if your critical files are really in the Cloud.

Used Icedrive for three years, all trouble free.

I have recommend Icedrive to a friend.
