Great place for students and other residents to stay and develop

Highly recommend the place. The apartments are quite nice and cozy, and the selection is pretty good as well, as different types of rooms are offered. I was very happy with my single person apartment and found it quite spacious. The gym and common areas are a huge advantage and are kept in a good condition. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay.

I have stayed here for about 2.5 years, and I have had no complaints the entire stay. Everything is done fairly and responsibly. If there are any issues f.x an appliance stops working or something like that, the issue is usually fixed within a few days.
A very pleasant stay and honestly, I am happy to recommend Kamtjatka to all of my friends that are going to study in Horsens.

The private zones (room, bathroom, and kitchen) are pretty good, but some things in the common areas could be improved. However, the people working there are so nice and always open to helping and solving any problem.
It is a very good place to stay if you are a student at VIA, it is close to the uni and to the city center.

I stayed in Kamtjatka during my Erasmus semester in Horsens (Winter 2024-2025). I booked a Category A2 room online. When I arrived, the room was in a messy state because my roommate had left for vacation without cleaning the common areas. Fortunately, the staff was extremely helpful—they quickly took care of the cleaning and even offered me a room change.

Throughout my stay, the staff was always available, whether for general information, small repairs in the room, or any other assistance needed. Their support made my experience much smoother.

The accommodation itself is great for students, with many common areas that create opportunities to meet international students. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk from the city center and the supermarket.

Overall, I had a really positive experience, and I would highly recommend it to future students!

For me living in Kamtjatka is the best thing you can do when you are a student in Horsens. It's close to the center and to the supermarkets. There are also common like gaming room, common room for parties and a common kitchen. I recommend it 100%

I could say it is a fantastic experience to live here in Kamtjatka. As an international student from Asian and did not know anybody here in Denmark, Thomas and Jonas really help a lot to let me know how’s everything works in Denmark like get the SIM Card、rent the bike and so on.I really appreciate that and really recommend Kamtjatka

If you're a student at VIA and looking for a place to stay Kamtjatka is really good. It's close to the unviersity, right by the city centrum, has a lot of facilities including a free gym, a game room, a whole friday bar. Lots of other international students to socialize with. The staff there are really nice, fair people and help with any problems you have. Really recommend it.

Kamtjatka was the perfect place to live and meet people from all around the world during my exchange year. Located in the city center, it was pretty easy to move around and only 5min away by bike from the university. The 2 owners Thomas and Jonas were always nice and available to help if I had any issues all the year long.

Simply the best Erasmus student housing in horsens. The place has everything you need, ranging from cooking utensils , pots and pans , bedlinnen etc. It was also very convenient that there was a gym inside of the complex, and even a laundry area. Kamtjatka is located from walking distance from the school , grocerie shops and even the beach of Horsens.

I had a perfect stay in Kamtjatka during 1 year. It's a great place where you can easily make friends and who is really well placed. I recommend for anyone who comes in Horsens and want to socialize and have a great time.

Kamtjatka was a very comfortable place to stay while studying at VIA. Move in was easy, everything was clean and functional, and move out was simple.

If you have Spanish roommates it's even better

This is on of the best places to live while studing in Horsens. It clean, it's safe and it's well run with exceptional personal, especially Thomas, goes out of his way to help you. Many of the rooms have great views and it's very centrally located. I highly recommend it.

If something happens or a problem occurs you can always count on the staff to help you out. There is also a lot of common space for students to hang out and to different activities together.

Especially the administration with Thomas and Jonas is great, they will always take care of any issues.

A good place to be overall. Appartements are good and well equipped, the gaming room is cool as well and the staff is nice. The village is also well placed, close to the university.

The student village Kamtjatka is just a perfect place. The rooms are big and already furnished as well as the kitchen fully equipped with everything you need. There is a microwave and an oven.

Furthermore, there is a big common room for e.g. partys, a huge gym, a gaming room and an area with 4 BBQ's.

Thomas and Jonas are great hosts. They matter immediately if you have any issues and always want you to be sufficient! They organize events to gather all.

The location is also perfect. By bike you are in 5 mins at the beach and in 7 mins at via and the train station.

Very good student accomodation

Kamtjatka Student Village is from my personal experience a very good place to stay either for long term studies or a semester abroad. It offers community kitchens, a gym, a gaming room as well as a common room and much more. The management is constantly improving the living conditions and experience. The rent is reasonably cheap for the an apartment in the middle of the city. It offers housing to a couple hundred people which makes making new friends rather easy. Overall I had a very good time there for my semester abroad and can definitely recommend to stay there.
