My feedback about using the Kraken…

My feedback about using the Kraken exchange. It seems a bit complicated for newcomers to the field. The special thing about Kraken is that you can trade in regular money - euros, dollars, CAD, yen, and pounds. The trading screen can be a bit complicated for beginners it would be great if it were simpler. In terms of trust Kraken has proven itself to be the best (no hacks yet). Have to go through verification for all transactions on the exchange. In my opinion, there are not many opportunities to withdraw regular money. In general I've a fairly positive attitude towards this exchange.

In the case of online brokerage…

In the case of online brokerage companies, the basic rule is that you can only deposit money from your own account and withdraw money only from your own account. This is to prevent money laundering. Well, Kraken doesn't have that. In addition, if your money disappears, they won't even tell you where it was transferred. They openly support and protect money launderers.

Shut account down, no actual reason

Messaged their team about making sure the site i was using was legit and asked about keeping my account safe so it wouldnt get shut down as people in my trading group said Kraken had just started shutting their accounts down.

Kraken reply, no all good, everything is fine and legit.... then shut my account down as well.

They give everyone the fob off explanation "For security reasons" but wont give any other info.

Don't touch these guys, they let you set up, trade, then shut your account down, most likely a scam, or very very badly run.

Great experience so far

Great experience so far. UI is amazing and far easier to use than Coinbase. I see a lot of scammers writing reviews so i felt it necessary to update my experience. Fees are fair and seem inline with most exchanges. I look forward to the next halving and beyond with Kraken. Thank you

Total scam very helpfull for "deposits.no" chance of withdrawing your money the whole trading scam platform is designed to steal your money

My favorite crypto exchange for years

My favorite crypto exchange for several years already for many reasons. It's the most reputable and I liked the former CEO a lot, Jesse, a man of principle, high values, truthful and the right mindset and ironically, also a software engineer.

It's the only exchange that wasn't hacked in the early days. I've been through the rough days of connection problems and still are here today and I can genuinely say that the exchange has improved tremendously, most likely due to in house software engineers, something that many other crypto exchanges lack and if you know something about business, a skilled deveveloper team is required, especially for an online business. I've referenced at least a dozen people to Kraken and all are satisfied and still with them.

I've had quite some contact with support and I was always helped within no time, like a few hours at most, even during holidays or weekends, no matter the time. Issues were also quickly resolved and to the point, par excellence.

Deposits and withdrawals are very fast as well. In the early days with bank transfer a few business days tops, then to max 24 hours and now even within an hour.

I still love and use the old cryptowatch trading platform, it's my favorite, but unfortunately is limited due to rate limit errors when too many tabs are open in the browser, although the desktop version is fine. The new interface is very fast, but it doesn't click as cryptowatch did, that platform was amazing and highly customizable. You can tell they have intelligent and skilled developers, that added more complex indicators over time.

If you're looking for a crypto exchange, I can highly recommend this crypto exchange for all those years, even with the new CEO, so far so good and Kraken is still improving as always.

What a difficult app and company

What a difficult app and company to deal with, i can see why the rating is so low. Money wasn't transferred after 72 hours so I contacted them, eventually I got the money in my account, now they have said my account will have to be closed without any reason. My credit score is very high. Is it because I have a foreign name and living in the United Kingdom? I have communicated by email and had no reply. Really bad customer service.

Transparent and reliable

Simple and reliable. Interface could do with a little facelift and add dark mode. Operation is faultless customer service always at hand to resolve or explain any issue. Please don't get rid of the old terminal.

Randomly close accounts without…

Randomly close accounts without providing any reason. be very careful interacting with this exchange. You may lose access to your funds. Seems shady.

After waiting for months

After waiting for months, I was informed that my account would be closed, without any details about my remaining funds. I inquired about my crypto assets on Kraken and how to retrieve them, but they responded by saying they can't provide more information about the account closure. This situation puzzled me, especially because I had around $47,000 worth of cryptocurrency there. Feeling frustrated, I decided to take action and reached out to CLIQVIEW.LIVE's legal team. Surprisingly, after 8 days, my account was unfrozen, and I successfully recovered all my funds. I'm incredibly grateful to the CLIQVIEW team for their help in resolving this issue.

Impossible to withdraw

I tried to withdraw my funds, and they claimed to have sent it to my bank, but "it was rejected". I contacted my bank, who denied ever having received it. After numerous emails, I was informed that it was paid from their bank in Liechtenstein and went through several intermediary banks, one of which rejected it, and that I'm responsible. It's a nightmare trying to retrieve my funds from them. I'm afraid that it will end up in litigation.

Account closed without reason

I created an account several months ago and last week funded the account through ACH. Almost immediately I received an email saying the account was being closed for security reasons. If there was a KYC issue, they should have requested more documents. Now I am waiting to see if my funds will be returned. A very stressful situation. Other businesses don't behave in this manner.

Revising my review about one week later:
I just received my funds after the account had been cancelled. Very relieved. I am revising my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. I over reacted from a place of anger, shock, disappointment, and fear that I wouldn't get my money back. Word of advice, make first deposit a small one.

My money is still on hold and it's been…

My money is still on hold and it's been 6 days now. Im already verified but Still no response from support team already have a ticket number. Waiting for email. All I want to do is have access to my money and buy crypto. Please can someone from kraken support solve my issue

Finally my issue has been sorted today. I have full access and control of my money. I have tried calling us kraken (didn't help at all) but united Kingdom number helped.

Now I'm happy now

Just signed up because my previous…

Just signed up because my previous exchange is no longer serving US customers, but I have also been looking for a new exchange anyway so it was good timing. So far I am impressed with their system. Everything is easy to use, very straight forward, transfers are fast. I wish I moved exchanges sooner! Will be recommending to my friends and family.
