"I am very disappointed with LycaMobile's data service. While the voice calls are fine, the internet speed is extremely slow and keeps cutting out. I live in the Hayes area (UB40), and the data is almost unusable both inside my house and even outdoors. As a content creator who uploads videos, I need a reliable connection, but LycaMobile has failed to provide this. I don't recommend it if you need fast internet."

Purchased SIM card from Tesco. Advertised as 25GB data. Does not work. Total garbage of a Mobile Network. Avoid.

I switched from Smarty to Lyca because I was having poor signal issues. Unfortunately, the network with Lyca doesn’t work properly either – the signal keeps dropping constantly, no matter where I am. Since I work as a truck driver in the South of England, I need a reliable connection because I often make calls while on the move.
With Lyca, only the internet works, and even that is not consistent everywhere. The customer support is terrible – when you call the helpline, you can’t understand what the person is saying. I also sent an email and never received a proper response, just one apology after a week.
I decided to cancel and moved to Vodafone instead, and finally, I have a stable signal and mobile data. I do not recommend Lyca – unfortunately, this company is unreliable, and there will always be issues with their service.

I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed. It seems like this company only publishes positive reviews, because my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.
I never received the eSIM I paid for, yet they charged me—not just once, but on a recurring monthly basis. When I tried to contact customer service, it was nearly impossible. On the rare occasion I got through, they hung up on me. I’ve had no success getting a refund, and I’m still being charged for a service I never received.
Unfortunately, I made the mistake of trying to purchase another eSIM, thinking the first issue might’ve been a fluke. Big mistake—again, I received nothing.
I’ve reported the charges to my bank and will be warning as many people as I can about this scam. Stay far away from this company.

Lycamobile Customer Service and Their Terms and Conditions
I recently moved to a new property, and my data and signal have been very poor. It has been nearly two months, and I have repeatedly contacted Lycamobile’s customer service, but they have been unhelpful and very rude. Their behavior has even caused me anxiety attacks. I want to share a short story about what actually happened to me.
A few days ago, I tried to add data through the Lycamobile mobile app, but unfortunately, the transaction did not go through, and I had no Wi-Fi available. I called customer service for help, and they told me to go outside my home and ask my neighbors for Wi-Fi. I followed their advice, but my neighbors did not open their doors.
I called customer service again to explain my situation. This time, another representative told me to go to a shop to find Wi-Fi, log in to my app, and add data. I explained that there were no nearby shops, and the closest one was over a mile away, but they kept repeating the same instructions and refused to provide any real assistance.
Frustrated, I asked them:
“What if there is an emergency and I urgently need data? Am I expected to keep asking neighbors or walk a mile just to access my account?”
I felt helpless and hopeless.
Now, I want to end my contract with Lycamobile, but they are charging me a fee to leave. My reasons for leaving are:
1. Poor network coverage – The signal and data are extremely weak.
2. No emergency provisions – Their terms and conditions do not accommodate emergency situations.
I hope everyone understands my situation. Lycamobile’s customer service has been disappointing, and they have not provided a fair solution to my problem.

These guys, they blocked my internet service but they took the money. When I called customer service they told me that the service is blocked because I exceeded the limit. As if I should be careful where I surf how much time I watch netflix and so on. So I asked why they took the money since you blocked my number? They told me that I can't do anything and that I have to send an email to Layca. I sent two emails. A week has passed and still no one answers. I want to point out that I have UNLIMITED DATA. What kind of UNLIMITED? Anyway: "Mr" Layca, you know that with the money you took unfairly I have not become poorer than I am and neither have you become that rich. You have acted like a greedy dog, taking money without delivering what was promised. Shame on you!
