They have very good servers and good tech support. But their prices are way too high compared to other options. I stay only because migrating my sites out, would be too painful.

Blocks your websites/IPs

Leaseweb blocks your websites/IPs if you recieve a single abuse ticket.

My site had thousands of pages and happy users. Zero complaints. Then someone (maybe a competitor) sent an invalid abuse ticket based on a false copyright claim. Leaseweb demanded the website be removed within 24 hours.

I don't think they even checked if the claim was valid. They do not care. It's easier for them to just ban you.

If you value your website, not to trust it to Leaseweb. They will suspend your server within 24 hours - even during weekends/holidays! Moving to a new server is a lot of effort and wastes a lot of time.

I tried switching to Leaseweb and it…

I tried switching to Leaseweb and it didn't work out as planned. First of all; their Sales support is cooperative, Sales really tried to help me out with a few problems.

- At Leaseweb, you have to identify. OK, when you are representing a company but for an individual trying to buy a new hosting package, overkill in my opinion, too much.

- Their internal communication doesn't work out, at least for me. I ordered an extra license for my services and technical support said I didn't, charging me extra money to add the license to my services. I know Sales support had included it in the order, still technical support couldn't find it and that was it.

I couldn't try their server and IT solutions as I canceled the server before the start date due the hassle and the amount of time it took to get going. Also, I made a fault which certainly made the whole process took longer, but still, 10 days (including weekends, which they do not work, at least Sales doesn't) is too long for me.

Recommended for company's, individuals looking for a cheap hosting company..dunno, not for me.

Leaseweb is cheating all the way

Leaseweb is cheating all the way. I am paying for 1000Mbits connection and they gave me 100Mbits. They provided me bad hardware. And they also don't guarantee 100% safe replacement. My server often goes down time to time due to their faulty hardware. They even don't let me change server. They always brings terms and conditions. They ask me to pay high price where website given price is lower. For example if your current server price is 380euro and it bad server and you want to replace new server which price is 230 euro and Leaseweb won't let you order that. Even if you do you have to pay 380 euro because of their terms. You can only replace contract if your are ordering more pricey server. Anyway i got cheated by them all the way. They even send me fake invoices with bills of 1000 euro where actuall price is low. And over charged me for 3 month. They don't do anything for customer. All they care about how to grab money from you. Their support is also sucks. I moved from hivelocity to Leaseweb. And i can definately tell difference. Leaseweb is not worth it for it's price. Company is made to grab money from it's customer by doing cheating with customer.

Terrible Customer Service!

Terrible Customer Service!
Due to an IP being blocked by Microsoft, our company has so far not been able to send out mail for 8 days (!!).
All they will do is say they have contacted Microsoft to try to get the IP unblocked. When they used to be ServInt and this happened, we would immediately be given a new IP. They are refusing to do that and asking us to be patient.
It is disgusting how little value they place on companies being able to operate properly.

Horrible Customer Support

I have six servers hosted here. Small potatoes, I realize, but nonetheless. I use Leaseweb because their prices are really low and their provisioning API does what I need. But I have to say, their non-technical customer support is horrible. Just now I'm trying to get a new dedicated server set up. In the process, they made what they've described as an "administrative error" which prevents the server from showing up in their Control Panel which, in turn, prevents me from accessing the server in any way. It's been more than a week now, with 14, count 'em, e-mail exchanges trying to get them to respond to me and correct this "administrative error." It's a nightmare. At this point I'm almost annoyed enough that I'll have the motivation necessary to take on the pain and effort of moving my whole operation to another hoster, small potatoes though it may be.

Unreliable service, horrible customer service, old hardware

In a crucial moment I tried to upgrade my VPS from S to XL. Earlier this worked fine when I upgraded from XS to S.

However, due to a bug the server would not upgrade. This put me in a very tough situation as traffic on my site was booming. Unfortunately, customer service was unable to provide support which forced me to switch hosting providers in the middle of the night.

Then, the weeks following this event I keep getting charged for an XL server, even though my server is still a small server. After 20+ emails, multiple calls and chats I am still struggling to get all the paperwork done.

Overall terrible experience.

Moved over from OVH

Moved over from OVH.

My experience with the Singapore team has been very good.

Pros: The amount of attention provided to a customer is very prompt. I can get support anytime of the day, there is always someone to help in the Chats or message.

Cons: Their on boarding process is initially abit slow as they require verification but once that is done, everything is very fast. They have explained why and I liked the fact that all their customers are only businesses. No chance for hackers or illegal activities here.

Kudos to the Singapore team for answering me even at 8pm. I will definitely be ordering more from you.

Responsive, reliable and cost friendly

Responsive, reliable and cost friendly, finding me a solution that fits my needs rather than just trying to make money off me as a customer. Was previously a customer before i moved to a bigger hosting company but now I'm planning to move back to Leaseweb.

Server was slightly delayed but i was constantly updated about it through messages, and my questions always answered. Can see them try very hard, eager to please and i'm always appreciative of this type of attitude.

The support in the chat is good especially when i encounter the Asia team.

Ive already bought 3 servers in a span of 2 weeks, planning to move most of them back in the next few months.

Horrible customer support.

Horrible customer support.
Their billing system does not work. Spontaneously issued 3 invoices for the same product.
Contacted them 6 times, and every time the first reaction is that I have to pay (again!), then they say indeed I don't have to pay, but refuse to cancel their bogus invoices. Then I get a threatening automated notification and the cycle repeats.
Also, old hardware. Near-end-of-life, slow SSD's.
Stay away from this company!

waste of time

their chat support said I didn't need a business name, "just put your own name". Then I get rejected from the compliance Department because its business to business only?

Their chat support was great, answered all my questions, was very respectful. Then i get the contact from compliance department and its a different story. Just negativity is all I get.
I would suggest people avoid

7 years vps, no complaints.

I've had a vps for 7 years with leaseweb and I haven't had any issues. Customer service, who I've had to contact 3 times after messing up the server myself, has always been quick and polite.
