They have very good servers and good tech support. But their prices are way too high compared to other options. I stay only because migrating my sites out, would be too painful.

As a security Manager for our Servers - we have been slowly blocking all Leaseweb originating IP's from accessing our server as this seems to be a company which hosts mainly malicious actors - Comment Spam, Contact Form Spam, Bock Spam, Brute force WP attempts

I purchased a VPS and Acronis backup at the beginning of March. I've had constant problems with Snapshot. It was not possible to take a snapshot without problems. Although there were constant mistakes, I cancelled both products towards the end of March. However, it is automatically renewed for the month of April and is not cancelled. They also sent a new invoice. This is unacceptable because my contract was already a 1-month period.
I am currently trying to resolve this issue. You should stay away from Leaseweb—very, very bad company. You can understand from the score it got here how bad it is. Please be careful. Also, all of what I said is documented!

We leased a month to month subscription for a vmware server from leasweb and got very little support. We could not even get a straight answer on how to get access to the networking details so we could setup our vms. We subsequently requested a decomission of the server in about 10 days of evaluation via their support system.
Leaseweb closed the ticket a few days as completed and also updated notes on how we can delete from the console by pressing a "red button" to delete service. The instructions are deliberately wrong and there is no "red button" to delete when logging in to the UI.
After closing the ticket for the decomission request as completed, they invoiced us for one more month claiming we "extended our contract" on a decomissioned server :)
Please dont do business with these folks. They are a shoddy outfit and support is very poor as well.

I used many companies for server hosting. This company is far the worse available so stay as far away as possible. First of all their hardware is terrible and very expensive, secondly their contracts are nightmare. My story starts as this. I got a server sometime in my life which i kept that server for 4 years around. When the server was due to end every year I was getting an email and I was arranging the new contract. However, without any notice or any approval from me they decided to revew my contract. So they kept me in a contract for 2 years after the expire of the previous one without asking me or mailing me if I want to autorenew it. I mailed them many times that the server is useless to me as I moved long time ago to another company, the contract was ended and I never sign an auto renewal but they kept ignoring that fact and were forcing me to pay for another 2 years even if i told them to pay the months i had the server and close the deal. I finally got tired with those i****s bureaucrats and accepted because i could not bother more. Then they started charging me extra for electricity increase prices, network, bill 1, 2 etc and that brought the final straw. In order to get rid of them I stopped paying them as I already told them that i do not need the server which led me to a debt collection company which I finally pay and get rid of them. I had to pay extra amount to the debt collectors but I am happy I did that because with the prices raising the money i had to pay to them would be more for something was completely useless to me. They do not listen the customer and they say everything is a contract clause 21, clause 1234. Horrible. Stay far far far away from them.
Terrible hardwares, stuttering, rubberbanding, packet loss, zero fixing. That company is a cashgrab joke...
Leaseweb UK have always gone above and beyond in supporting critical infrastructure. Upon requests they have always dealt with issues swiftly. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for reliable hosting.
A company with 0 regards to contract terms. we have a contract for 36 months at a fixed monthly fee, and 1 month before the contract expires, I am slapped with a fee increase of over 150%. Yes 150%!!!!!!!!!
The service is good, servers are fast and the support team are quick turn around, used several servers in different zones, all are fast as expected.
Australian (in fact all) customers stay clear away from Leaseweb. They are one of the worst when it comes to support. They provide incorrect information and also force you to pay for duplicate services. Their sales, support and accounting is just terrible. If they were based in Australia I would lodge a complaint with ASIC and Fair Trading but unfortunately they are not based in Aus. They hold a credit of more than $200 which they are not releasing - which was obtained via their accounting system which forced me to pay twice for the same hosting plan. In addition their support provided incorrect advice which caused me to transfer my domain to them and to make matters worse they charged me once again twice for the same service. Stay clear away if you want to save yourself some money and time.
NL management is dumb. They can't work out special cases, only predefined scenarious. But in any case the prepaid funds will remain in their pocket. I don't want to have any deals with this service provider after long time of success. No good.
Upd: I had issues with NL office, but US office is more customer friendly.

UPDATE: IT GETS WORSE
Boy do I have an update! They gave us on a debt collector in Amsterdam called TKB.NL for the fee of 62 EUR that they apply for the service even you paid it hours before it's suspended for late payment. Yes you read right, you pay and AFTER you paid the service is disconnected and another fee is applied. We just paid the debt collector so we don't waste productive hours thinking about it, but if you do not want to be given to DEBT COLLECTOR FOR A WRONG FEE, STAY AWAY FROM LEASEWEB! ANY other provider is better.
They suspend servers AFTER you paid a renewal invoice and issue another reactivation fee invoice for 62 EUR which is completely unheard of in the hosting buisness. We're moving our business, stay away from these guys. When you complain they say well you've been late anyway etc... Sorry but the industry standard is to simply disable the service and once the client pays you activate it, not to charge them a fee even though they paid a hour or two before you suspend the services. Absolutely the worse service ever.

i have been with Leaseweb for almost 5 years now,
I have VPS and a dedicated server ( Amsterdam and Frankfurt ) when it comes to supporting it is limited as they are an unmanaged server providers but still they help if a problem occurs, I ordered my second dedicated server Location ( Amsterdam ) and they did a free upgrade of chassis and CPU Thanks for the the sale person ( Amm Pongvipatyodhin ) and the sales Manager ( Jorje Herrera ) they are professionals and followed up with me and made sure fast delivery
They have a very good uptime, servers, and pricing
follow up with customers. I recommend working with them .

reliable partner, good performance, fast support
My advice is to choose an alternative business. They are cheap for a reason, because they are cheap. Even though they make threats to charge you suspensions fees and international debt collections, they are not interested a resolution. These are the very worst type of people and business ethic. A disgrace.. they should be embarrassed.

Grifted our company for thousands in unpaid bills during covid, even though we requested them to suspend service. Then blackmailed us with website suspension when we couldn't pay their swindle. Have continued to sporadically suspend our service even though we've been paying all bills. Their ticket system is a joke, every issue takes weeks to get resolved. Nobody at support knows their head from their behind. Thieves, liars and incompetents.
Having just read these reviews I can see plenty of other customers have trouble with Leaseweb, funny that, because all I had is the same. Hardware failures all over the place and absolutely no empathy when it comes to disconnection. Terrible service all around, cheap rubbish unreliable hardware and a terrible customer service process.
Terrible support which is totally unhelpful and unprofessional.
If you start business do not start it with leaseweb!
