Quick and smooth service. Recommend
I secured CBILS funding through Market Finance via a broker. The rate was competitive and the process straight forward. I'd definitely consider them for future funding requirements,
Took a CBILs loan - Great service - delivered as promised - except rates a bit high
It took 3 months to setup the facility
Hi
Once Again a fantastic service from the Team
Caremark Coventry
Firstly to put this review into context I have no issue with being declined for a loan with MarketFinance per se. I fully respect that is their prerogative. That said I have a major issue with their reason for decline which I will elaborate on with the aid of the Government website CBILS eligibility criteria. By definition we applied for a CBILS loan. 1) Is our business based in the UK? Tick. 2) Has an annual turnover of up to £45 million? Tick. 3) Would be viable if it were not for the pandemic? Yes. We have shown year on year profit growth via our annual accounts provided in support of our application. Tick. 4) Was our business classed as a business in difficulty on 31st December 2019? No. Tick. 5) Has your business been adversely by the coronavirus? Yes. We are non essential retail and have been closed under the Government's current directive since 30th December in addition to previous restrictions beforehand. As such we have not generated any income for obvious reasons. Tick. I say obvious reasons but clearly I am mistaken as these are not obvious to the underwriters who have declined our application as they cannot see income going into our bank accounts via our bank statements, again provided!!!! Please ask yourself these questions. Why is there no income going in? Could it be because we are not allowed to trade? Why do we need a CBILS loan? Would we really be applying for one and taking on extra debt if we had not been obliged to close for several months due to the pandemic? I could go on but I would caution any company in need of relatively urgent finance to avoid MarketFinance at all costs as clearly their objectives are totally different to the Government who are trying to support small businesses whereas this company are only interested in supporting themselves.
Very helpful staff and very helpful business which helps my company carry on trading.
Very fast and prompt service. Support person always available.
We have had a great experience of Market Finance. Helpful staff and prompt payments. Couldn't have done it without them through these challenging times.
we are in trouble since 2 weeks but Market finance team is not taking serious to sort out the matters. A small issue takes weeks.
What I thought was going to be a painful exercise has turned out to be far less complicated with easy staff
I've been waiting years for just such an Invoice financing facility. The Market Finance offering provides complete flexibility, and control with immediate online updates and helpful minimal support if and when required.
Just want to needed!
Once the customer and ourselves understood how the system works, its a great tool to use in our finance tool kit.
Great service and help full staff when any issues arise
Excellent, easy to use dashboard and help at every step of the way
Good service and guidance from our account manager, can highly recommend this to another customer
Market Finance is a good source of funds if required urgently, but their fees are way too high which at these times does not bode well under such extreme circumstances
