PSA: Scam. Avoid.
Placed two orders and both were originally tracked. One get cancelled by passing the buck to the merchant. The other has been pending for 6 months. Contacted several times but only got same useless replies.

Why Maxrebates is a SCAM:
1) I placed an order from Walgreens.com thru their site 9 days ago and received no cash back (this was my first use of Maxrebates) and there is nothing listed under "Earnings & Orders", even though this should not have taken longer than 1 week to appear here. By their own admission on their website: "Please note that cash back can take up to 7 days to appear in your account." There is a record of the shopping trip under the shopping trips section, but that is it.
2) When I attempted to make a claim for the missing cash back a pop up message informs me "Order submission failed, the same order can't be submitted twice". This message shows every time I try to submit the claim. They prevented me from submitting the cash back claim despite the fact that this is the first time I have tried submitting a claim. Also, why are they calling this claim an "order" when it isn't an order?
3) Their site is full of obvious grammatical errors. There is a message at the bottom of the claim submission box that states exactly as written: "If the screenshot information don't [SIC] match the information you fill in, the claim would be invalid." At the bottom of that same claim form for missing cash back there is another message that reads (exactly as written): "screenshot should shows [SIC] you order information..."
4) In one of their automated emails to me, they addressed me as "NpgH_t8xe" which is not my user name and obviously not my name, so why did they address me as that?
5) They are incentivising reviews by offering to put $5 in your account if you leave them a positive review on this site (Trustpilot). Here is their direct message in an email after my purchase with Walgreens: "If you are satisfied with your shopping from our website, just click the following link: (link to Trustpilot page for maxrebates.com), leave a good review for our website and any Merchant that is attractive to you or service rating. Please send us a screenshot and mail it to:(email address for maxrebates.com removed) and we'll add $5 Cashback to your account!" Never mind that you'll never get the $5 or any sign up bonus either. This is just another ruse to deceive you into believing they are legit.
6) 36% one star reviews on this site. The rest are fake.

Signed up for a $50 new user sign-up bonus and a $100 cashback offer for a purchase I was already planning. Received $5 for the sign up and $0 for the purchase. Used the app, the purchase is on their system so they tracked it. Still, they say they didn't and that "this purchase does not support a missing caskback claim". Absolute scam! Use a different service

I believe it has a $10 minimum threshold to qualify, but regardless, it's easy to buy anything sitewide and qualify for $1 cash back through receipts. Furthermore, new users can get a first order bonus on their first purchase. You get a significant percentage increase to your cash back.
