WORST MOVE ever (Michael Edward Howard 646-849-3864) was the person who gave me estimate. Moved from Dallas to NY, I was 7 months pregnant under stress of move. I was given estimate of around $3K. Pick up date was 2 days before my flight. Movers did not show up on day they supposed to pick up, they called and said have some truck rental issues so they cannot come and will come next day. Fine - Movers came next day, before loading into truck they started saying estimate is going up, surprisingly it was more than double of initial estimate, no change in inventory for a small 1 bed apartment (we packed boxes & all stuff). Whole thing looked pre planned, these guys ask when is your flight on a friendly note & they come just a day before or same day of flight so you are under stress and have no time to deal with stuff & just agree to whatever amount they quote for. Person who gave us estimate & promised the $ won’t change has’nt come into contact from the day of move. Other person contact from that point onward, and says oh that guy is new he did not know how to quote, we are going to fire him for giving this wrong estimate. ALL THIS IS A SCRIPT THEY PLAY WITH EVERY CUSTOMER.
During drop off, guys were high school kids who can barely lift box. My husband did major work. Movers did not even had a tool box to assemble bed or table. My husband has assembled everything. Finally two boxes were missing, mattress’s have dirt stains, book cases came broken, bed frame had all scratches. Man this was a DISASTROUS MOVE. Tip I can give is there can be little trust for the movers who actually come home look at your stuff & give estimate. I did claim for damaged items with CSI and they settled the claim for $81 which is ridiculous & said if I accept the $ I have no right to write a review about the MOVING PROS, which sounded brutal. I have not taken settlement $ just to write this review.

Moving Pros is essentially a group of thieves: you pay them a sum to then have them rob you.

They "lost" my most expensive furniture and my TV. I received NO compensation from Moving Pros Inc because I was never able to get in touch with anyone at the company. They "lost" a leather office chair, my bed-frame, an arm-chair, my flat screen(just 1yr old) TV, and my mattress. They gave me another old dirty mattress claiming that was my mattress.

As an aside, their movers are contracted and the people are non-professionals. For example, one person came to unload what was left of my possessions (after -as I mention- they stole four large furniture pieces and the TV), and was waiting for a guy he had called. The 1st guy was the truck driver -he had driven from Chicago to Ann Arbor, and the 2nd guy he hired as the helper a semi-homeless guy who showed up an hour late, and just asked me for a drink.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVER!!! FRAUD WARNING!!! DO NOT PAY ADVANCE!!!

Moving Prosinc estimated my House Hold Goods 'Move' for $2,800 from Dallas to Connecticut but when the truck got home to pick 'Move' my stuff, he estimated double the amount with no change in the list of items estimated.

Ultimately, they refused to transport my goods and I had to rent U-Haul along with their helpers to get my movement done.

I paid $742 as a booking amount to Prosinc on 29th Sept. Called them up, sent repeated mails but till date 23rd Jan 2018, they have neither responded to my calls or mails nor have refunded my booking amount.

Terrible, Horrible experience. Several of our items "went missing" and they couldn't have cared less. The move ended up being twice as expensive as originally quoted and one you commit to using them, they become totally unresponsive unless you threaten to use someone else. They don't own their own trucks, they showed up in a Budget Rent a Van. Totally unprofessional and probably should be shut down as a business in my opinion. Much of our stuff was scratched, or nicked, and they did not deliver our stuff on the day originally promised. I can't believe there are any good reviews on this company, and I wish I had checked the review sites prior to scheduling with them. Of course they don't refer you to the review sites as there are too many bad reviews to disguise how bad a company they are.

I booked this company for a cross country move. The quote seemed reasonable and the sales associate seemed trust worthy. It all went downhill from the moment the crew arrived. The crew arrived late in the afternoon and hit my neighbor’s parked car while deciding where to park the truck. One of the three crew members was brand new and all three didn’t seem to take very much care with my stuff. Definitely not the white glove service that is advertised on the website. My quote was $4K and the move ended up costing more than $10K. The truck was not large enough to load all of my items, so they had to return the next day to finish the job.
Fast forward two months, I met the movers at my storage unit in my new city. Things seemed to be going smooth until it became obvious that not all of my items were on the truck. Many items were missing, including everything that the movers had come back to pick up on the second day. I immediately called Moving Pros and let them know via voice mail. Ryan called me back and let me know that they would look into it and get it all straightened out the following week. I fully expected to receive my missing items in the next few weeks.
Fast forward to now, three months later. I still have not received my missing items. Upon further inspection of the items they did deliver, some of my boxes had been opened and numerous items are missing. I have been in contact with Ryan, Tommy, Charles, Sammy and Furat. All have given me conflicting messages, one told me they had my items, another told me they were missing and I should file a claim. The latest word was that my items have been located and that they would be shipped to me. They were supposed to email me a list of the items that they had yesterday. I have heard nothing.
I filed a complaint with the BBB. I also filed a claim on my missing items, however by their own account the items are not missing. Moving Pros Inc. is holding my possessions hostage and refusing to deliver them to me. I have done everything short of getting a lawyer, which will be my next step.
Do not use this company. They are evasive and dishonest. The only thing they are pros at is gaining your trust and taking your money. This has been the absolute worst customer experience of my life. I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If they put as much time into helping their customers as they do into writing fake 5-star reviews, I would not be in this situation. All I want is for the remainder of my possessions to be delivered to me. It will not make up for the items that were stolen from my boxes, and it will not make up for the months of lies that I was subjected to, but at least I would have my items. I’m hoping this review a) persuades any potential customers to choose another moving company and b) persuades Moving Pros Inc. to contact me with a date that my items will be delivered once and for all.

I can confirm the stress of this company is outrageous they are fraud. Believe all the bad reviews and know the good ones are fake. NO WAY THEY IGNORE PEOPLE this way with out a care or a call and have so many good reviews. THEY DESTROYED all of Effies stuff and she provided proof and they did nothing to help. This company really does take your money damage your stuff and than disappears. My Aunt and uncle just just relocated to Florida. When I showed up the day after they dropped off my aunts stuff I could not believe my eyes. When she was crying to me on the phone and when My mother was telling me how bad the stuff was I did not think it was that bad. When I showed up I could not believe my eyes. Everything was damaged looked as tho her stuff was thrown on and off the truck. I tired to calm her down and tell her that this is a huge company THAT I helped her research and they would take care of her.... 4 Months later and THEY HAVE NOT DONE A THING do not even return her calls. Today she calls me crying that they sent her a shut up letter and offered $273 for 10,000 in damages WTH what is that. I really believed they would see all the pictures she provided and at least refund her what she paid to them. She lost so much more than that. MY MOTHER AND I had to put our money together to get her a mattress she has a bad back and was sleeping on hard floors.. We had to lend her money for the lost items and buy for her to buy her new appliances to get buy.. Everything is broke her tv has a ugly bang spot it is all a mess.. I dont ever post reviews I just do my research on companies and I cant believe this company has done this.. My aunt is having such bad anxiety and my Mom as well from dealing with this all. Stay away save your stress.... DO NOT BE TRICKED BY THESE GOOD REVIEWS THEY ARE FAKE I EVEN BELIEVED THE HYPE OF THESE REVIEWS. My family will be sharing their experiance so we can warn everyone that is believing these good reviews. WE WERE THERE WE SEEN IT SHE SENT THEM PICTURES AND THEY DISAPPEARED.

If I could put less than a one star review I would. Do not use this company at all.. They are frauds and they treat your stuff like garbage and then do not even respond to you. My wife placed a complaint on July 10th still no resolution no one will even call her back. We even went to bbb and they keep saying they will call her and they do not they dont care how bad drivers treat your items and will do nothing about it in the end. we placed a claim through the company they use that does not even have a phone number and today they had the nerve to send us a shut up letter for $273 when we have losses and damages totaling to over 10k. After our first complaint for the obvious damages and lost we could not even get them on the line to go over the stuff that was in boxes and damaged when we took them out my $3000 tv has a huge brown mark and they can not care to help.. EVERY ITEM ON THE truck was damaged, mattress dirty and destroyed lost items not one thing made it to us okay. This company is all about taking your money and when it gets to you damaged they will be no where to be found. This matter is by far not over we have placed agency complaint with the attorney general and I am going to be using my FREE JOB provided attorneys to take them to court. NOW instead of asking for a refund of what we paid we will be going for full cost of all we lost..

They are not a moving company at all!!! They will store your stuff for you. I had them lie to me over and over again. They will tell you what you want to hear to get your business. They should be shut down and not a business at all. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy! They are bullies! They never return phone calls. They never knew where my stuff was during the move. They told me I would get reimbursed for all the mistakes they made and then never call me back to discuss reimbursement. I'm still waiting to hear from them. They are liars and thieves!! Do not use this "company"!!!! They are the worst! So unprofessional! A disgrace to actual moving companies. A bunch of our stuff was broken or damaged. I emailed the claims department and still have not heard back from them. I would not give them any stars if possible. Save your money and move your stuff your self!

Moved cross country and they lost over half my move. Terrible customer service, charged extra during the move. Totally unresponsive after my move was lost. Some of my stuff ended up in other states and had to be shipped back by other customers. The worst experience I've ever had with movers.

Is it possible to give a company negative stars or zero? I feel like one star doesn't do justice to how this company treats its customers or stands behind their estimate.

Their employee severely underestimated the price of moving my items and the length of time it would take, presumably because they knew it was more likely they could secure my business that way. The total cost of the move with this company ended up being more than double the original estimate and delivery of my items took more than twice as long as I was originally told.

The driver who dropped my items off refused to pull his truck into my parking lot (where it would have fit). Because the movers did not use my parking lot they had to walk further and the driver arbitrarily added $700 to the total I had to pay. Moreover, the driver said if I didn't pay that in cash right then he would leave my things on the street. Such high quality customer service!! I called the moving company's office to help me out with the driver but no one picked up so I had no option but to pay him the extra fee. When the movers finally did bring my things to my apartment they did not put together my bed-frame or table, which I had specifically asked them to do, and was required of them by contract. As if that weren't enough, many items of mine (some of which cost over a few hundred dollars each) were broken or lost during the move. For some reason the driver refused to give me a receipt for the cash I gave him, which certainly seemed odd to me.

Although my items were initially picked up 3 weeks ago and delivered last week, Moving Pros still has not responded to my complaints. At least their customer service is consistent.

I can't even begin to describe to any potential future customers how strongly I'd advise against using this agency. If a friend asks me what moving company to use I will tell them 'any company on the planet besides Moving Pros Inc.'

I recently moved from NYC and they smooth talked me into using their services. Not only did they charge double, but they destroyed by flat screen TV. When I called to complain they were unapologetic and said maybe it was broken from before. Seriously?!?! I tried filing a claim but after many hours and back and forth over weeks I just gave up.

They are con artists, plain and simple

I was definitely pretty nervous at first but had a great experience with moving pros that I wanted to share. I'm not the type of customer to ask for unreasonable things, and I don't think the things I asked of moving pros were unrealistic. I just wanted the job to get done quickly, safely, and affordably. From the very beginning Sammy assured me this would be done. I take anything a sales person tells me with a grain of salt. But Sammy’s guys delivered on every promise he made. I was happy with how everything went and just wanted to share that these guys are upfront and honest from the very beginning. The Cadillac of moving companies!

I own a lot of breakables. So naturally I was worried for how they were going to travel from Danbury, CT to Raleigh, NC. I specifically asked the movers from Moving Pros to take extra care of my glassware. They did exactly that. They were very well equipped and methodically packed everything carefully. They packed everything in the van like Tetris. In the end, when my belongings arrived in North Carolina I checked to make sure everything arrived unscathed. One mug was damaged in transit but other than that nothing was broken. I was so happy with the services provided by this company.

If anyone were to arrange a battle amongst moving companies Moving Pros would surely be the victor. If you don't believe me just try them out for yourself. So convenient and easy from start to finish. They even have extended hours which is super dope. I run a small business and threes no way I can leave the shop before 5pm. Jon set it up for his crew to come at 630. They were in and out with no headaches. Cool guys too.

We chose moving pros for a few different reasons; mainly the value in the service provided was on point. Anytime we hire any type of labor we want to make sure it’s not the cheapest. You really get what you pay for in my opinion. We learned the hardware one time earlier in life when we hired the cheapest contractor to remodel our kitchen. Moving pros price was reasonable and realistic. A lot of these movers tell you whatever you want to hear to get their foot in the door and charge more lately. Moving pros gave us a firm price and stuck to it.

We don't do this a whole lot. This was actually our first interstate move. We were pretty nervous that things might not end well but I suppose we’re just naturally nervous about everything. Moving pros but our nerves at ease. They promised us “a complete point a to point b move”. And they sure delivered on that promise. The crew who came to our house was amazing. They stacked everything so precisely. We just arrived our goods 3 days ago and I wanted to wait to finish unpacking before writing a review.

This moving company is the absolute best. I wanted to do business with a family run company because customer service is important to me. They gave me a price of $3150 for a complete move. I couldn't find any TV boxes for a 70inch at target so I ended up paying them a little bit more to pack the TVs. I paid for two and they gave me the third one free. The price ended up going up a little bit for that but they told me about it before so it wasn't a surprise. I have a daughter with special needs and the crew was really great about not making too much noise. Loud noises really frighten my daughter and they were more than accommodating in that regard. Also very friendly. I would use them again if I had to move once more.

Moving isn't fun for anybody. After doing a week’s worth of research I was pretty confident I knew what to look out for. Always get a binding estimate. Make sure you're dealing with a carrier as opposed to a broker. Make sue they're operating legally and have the proper licensing. Throughout all my research the only company that passed every one of my tests was moving pros. they didn't have any dot complaints or major problems. Most companies were really good in some areas but bad in others. Moving pros was solid across the board and the service they provided me personally was exceptional. Hope my experience with moving pros is no different than yours. Get it done right the first time!

What a disaster!!!!!! I have never been more disappointed in a company in my life. I used this company to move me to Florida. When I purchased my space I upped it to make sure that when they got here I wasn't part of the horror stories where they say you need more space and now since it's last minute you have no choice but to pay the additional amount. I paid the money and waited for my furniture. Two weeks later my furniture shows up I am missing boxes and have damage on almost every single item that was shipped. Not to mention while bringing my bed down the stairs from the pick up location they ripped the packaging off of my bed by accident. I was told once they got it on the truck they would repackage it. No when my bed got here they threw it on my dirty driveway. From the move my bed was completely filthy and I would never sleep on it. Everyone of my items is damaged. Maybe I wouldn't be mad if it was not brand-new. Not to mention the guy in my house told me just get the basic insurance we are carriers we protect and take care of your belongings. Now I will get $.60 a pound for all of my belongings by weight. Do not I repeat do not use this company. I can see if one of my items were damaged accidents happen. But everything but one item was damaged on its way to me. It was a disaster my stuff looks like it was in a car accident. All my boxes were broken. Everything is filthy and that is the stuff that gets here. ALSO if anybody is missing what looks like expensive artwork they offered it to me and asked me if it was mine. I am honest and said no but I'm sure many people would have taken it. Not to mention while placing the claim. They make it so hard that you want to give up. Everything is through a computer website and there are no people to speak to. The website keeps deleting all of your items that are damaged or lost so you can spend three hours placing a claim. This pick up was on JUNE 24th Today is August 23rd and still no talks of resolutions they say we must wait for the claim that can take up to 120 days but yet still not a call from anyone and I was promised managers would call me back and work on it. NOTHING till date to let me know how this will be fixed. I will keep you all posted how this works out and you can expect to see reviews on every platform I can possibly think of. I work in retention management so I can I sure you it will be on every platform. I know every website there is to report this nonsense. These reviews here must be fake because the person who brought my stuff looked at me like this was all normal. THE LEAST THEY CAN DO IS GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK BEING AS THO ALL I GOT BACK WAS DAMAGED ITEMS AND I AM MISSING EXPENSIVE BELONGINGS. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY NOW TO REPLACE EVERYTHING.
