I can't even stand all the phone calls I continued to get after I filled out a stupid quote request online. The only person that wasn't pushy at all was Sammy with moving pros. he spoke firmly and offered real solutions. We chose him for this exact reason. He even got us off of his competitors call list somehow so the phone calls stopped coming in within a day or two. I’m not sure how they handle their customer service so well but Sammy always picked up the phone or called back within 10 minutes. The movers were great and they answered every question I had. They worked hard and didn't complain when I added a bunch of stuff from my garage that I was hoping to sell before the move.

We didn't know what to expect with this move. My son set everything up from start to finish. He called me one day and said “moving pros will be the one coming to your home next week”. I trust my son but honestly it’s hard to trust anybody who's planning to come and pack everything you own. I have 30 years of memories in this house and I just wanted it to get done without any damages. Rabbi and Alex were the two foremen that came to the home to get everything started. They, along with their helpers, were so incredible. They went through everything and made sure nothing would get broken. They paid extra special attention to some of my most valuable items and I didn't have to ask twice. If you want movers who really care you should choose moving pros.

I needed to get everything delivered under a tight time window. We own a house in Syracuse NY and our winter home is in Arizona. Some things came up very quickly and I had only one week to get 20 plastic bins and a king size bed from NY to AZ. No mover that I called could guarantee a time frame like that. Finally one of the movers I talked to referred me to moving pros. he said he used to work with them and that they could probably help. He gave me the number and I called to speak with one of the representatives named Edward (apparently an old friend of his). Ed was able to set everything up and guarantee a delivery date for me. They picked up 48 hours thereafter and got everything to Arizona on time. I could not have been happier and thank god I was put in contact with this company. I've already wrote good reviews on several sites and left the foreman and his crew a handsome

A close family friend recently made a long distance move using moving pros. They came highly recommended, so I figured I would give them a call and get a free quote. I called in and when I got one of the salespeople on the phone, he gave me all of the information I needed. The price was very competitive. They informed me that if I needed to, I could have my personal belongings in storage for up to 30 days for free. They also let me know that they would do all of the packing for a nominal fee, and would disassemble and reassemble all of my furniture. This was a tall order but they got it done smoothly. They showed up on the guaranteed pick up date and got it all done in one shot. They kept in contact with us from start to finish and we were never left in the dark. Thank you so much moving pros!

These guys were awesome. They made my move stress free and smooth. They worked with me and were super nice and professional the whole time. I had huge move for a really great price! DEFINITELY will recommend to my friends and family. They gave a time and date and stuck to it thank God. Keep up the great work guys! If you're looking for some quality service for your move I suggest these guys at moving pros. They get the job done without killing your wallet and deserved the five stars for their work. Moving Pros delivered where others couldn’t, literally and figuratively. We were moving to south Texas right near the Mexican border. A lot of other companies wouldn't go that far south on their routes. Moving pros assured as no job was out of the way for them so they gave me a good price and stuck to it. They came to my house and did everything they said they would. It was amazing! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants real service. Thanks again guys!

Moving pros is definitely a company that stands by their product. Not the type of company to make false promises and switch up on yak. These guys stuck to their word and their pricing! Also the customer service was lit. Def would use again!

We used moving pros three times in the past two years for various shipments. My husband is a power seller on eBay and sometimes large items require home goods transportation that UPS or FEDEX can’t handle. For those we've consistently used moving pros. I think he found them through group on or something and the service was so good we've always used them since. They make things really simple and easy to understand. They also follow through on their promises. great company to work with

As a recently divorced mother of three, I was extremely nervous about choosing a moving company for my big move down the east coast. I got about 50 calls from brokers trying to earn my business. Most of them were pushy and downright rude. Over whelming to say the least. I received a phone call from a young gentleman by the name of Jon and he definitely put me more at ease. The customer service was superb and he answered my thousands of questions. I have never made such a large move by myself before (relocating from Philadelphia to Southern Florida). I will be referring all my close friends and family members to this company. Everything went as smoothly as I had hoped. The movers arrived on time and I was able to meet all my belongings at my new house in west palm! I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Jon!

I had a very mixed experience with Moving Pros, which still is not complete since they lost(or stole) 2 of my boxes. I have filed a claim to try and get them back, but ridiculously, it takes 180 days for them to figure out what happened to my boxes. The guys that actually moved us were great, they showed up on time and worked extremely hard and fast. Unfortunately, aside from the actually movers I can't say our experience was great . Once I signed the contract, the guy I had dealt with(Larry), kind of disappeared and was not responsive at all, and at the end just flat out ignored my texts and emails. I felt that once he had the sale, he was done with me for the most part. And in addition to losing(or stealing) my 2 boxes, I also had an issue with the delivery date. I had paid extra to have our stuff delivered on a certain date, but when they finished packing me up, they informed me that that it would be an extra day - so they did not deliver on their contract. They did rebate me the extra money that I had paid, but having the exact delivery date was more important to us, so this was a big inconvenience. Our move ended up being a lot bigger, and took a lot longer than we had estimated, so I would recommend having someone come in and look at your move before agreeing to a quote. And make sure you open all the cabinets and closets and show them everything you may have hidden away to get an accurate assessment. I had debating switching moving companies about a week before our move due to Larry's apparent lack of interest in me after out contact was signed. I wish I had switched. If my lost (or stolen) boxes re-appear, I may bump them up to 2 stars. I cannot recommend them to you though. I would go with someone else if given a choice. And my wife and I were discussing this again the other night as I started posting my review and she said a lot of our furniture has new dings, scratches and marks on them that we can only contribute to the move.

TL;DR - Moving Pros, Inc. is a bait-and-switch scam with absolutely dreadful and dishonest customer service. STAY AWAY.

My family and I moved from Texas to New Hampshire and decided to go with Moving Pros Inc. after fielding quotes from several different companies. Our salesman, Michael (who also goes by Ed) quoted me a price of $2549 for 600 cubic ft. Since this wasn't an in-person walk through I knew my total cost would rise but I was OK with that and I went ahead and booked for our backup date of July 1st, as my initial pickup date of June 30th had become unavailable. Michael also told me that while our contract stated 14-21 business days for delivery that their crews moved quickly and our belongings would be delivered in approximately 5-6 business days, regardless of the July 4th holiday.

On June 30th, I received a call from Tim who told me that my original date of July 1st had become unavailable and that I would have to be moved back to July 2nd. I told him that this wasn't possible as my schedule wouldn't allow me to wait in TX and Michael and I had already agreed on using the backup date. Tim told me that he had another job in the area that day and agreed to honor July 1st. He gave me a five-hour window in which the truck would arrive. I started to doubt my choice in movers at this point...

The crew arrived on the 1st (in an empty truck - other job?) and did their walk through of our belongings, which aside from large furniture were already packed. The number of boxes we had exceeded what Michael and I had discussed and our crew leader told me it would be an extra $600-700. Since I had anticipated this, I agreed and the crew began loading up. I will say that the three gentlemen who handled the loading were polite, professional and did their jobs well. Once the truck was loaded, I was told that the cost of my move had increased by $1900, not $600-700. I was furious but also on a schedule (that was made only because of the time frame I was given by Moving Pros) and the truck had already been loaded. This is the moment that I knew I was dealing with a bait and switch operation and that I had made a terrible mistake hiring this company.

Once we arrived in NH I called Moving Pros to try and determine where our shipment was located and when it might arrive. I was told after repeated calls to their receptionist that messages had been left with logistics and I should expect a callback within 24hrs. When the call didn't arrive, I called Michael (presumably my rep within the company) who seemed confused as to why I would be calling him about my issues. After lodging complaints about the amount of price increase and the company's lack of ability to ballpark when my belongings would arrive he had no answers for me, only reassurance that he would look into it and call me back. I never expected that call and have predictably not received it. I had at this point also yet to hear from the logistics dept. Later that day, I received a call from Ryan who is a supervisor. I repeated my complaints and he told me he'd spoken to logistics and that my shipment was scheduled to be delivered on the weekend of Saturday, July 8th. He also offered a $150 discount on the money I would owe at delivery. Yay. Whatever - I got a time frame.

On July 7th, I got another call. This time from Tommy in logistics. He was sincerely apologetic and told me that I had been given bad information. My belongings were NOT scheduled for delivery this weekend, they were scheduled to be shipped. He told me he would do everything he could to prioritize my shipment.

I've just finished a call with the shipping company who told me that my shipment was being loaded today, July 10th. When I told him that Moving Pros had informed me it was shipping this weekend, he told me that the warehouses are closed on weekends. Another lie from Moving Pros. I was told that my shipment would arrive sometime either late this week or this weekend and that no firm date could be given. I'm writing this review in hopes that not only will people avoid adding more stress to their lives with this company but that maybe someone who works at Moving Pros and has at least one honest bone in their body might contact me and try to resolve this situation to my satisfaction.

To sum up, my family's been moved for a week, we're still sleeping on air mattresses and I'm left hoping my new boss will give me enough leeway to handle this and still have gainful employment when it's all over.

The reviews reviews from previous customers are what ultimately won me over to use Moving Pros. I take everything from sales representatives with a grain of salt. They’re paid to talk themselves up. But when hundreds of customers spend time out of their day to go online and say they're a great company, I’ll surely trust that. Our move was quite the task. We had a two 10x15 storage unites completely full. Sammy quoted us assuming they were both full and gave us a price. I don't think ever used a company that the actual bill comes out to be less than the estimate. Moving pros delivered just that. My move ended up being only $5,400.00 rather than the Estimate at &5,550.00. I was happy to say the least!

So hers what happened. My family and I needed to get our stuff from a storage unit in Boston. We had been living in Topeka Kansas for 2 years already. I needed a company to pick our items up, store them for 6 months, and then delivery the items, I didn't want to use a company that couldn't store in house so i immediately cut out 3 or 4 companies i was talking to. Moving pros was great. They gave me a price for pick up, gave me a month of free storage, and offered a great rate for addition storage. On top of all of that the guys gave me free redelivery after storage to Topeka Kansas. All in the price was super affordable for the amount of work that had to be done. It was an easy decision. My items arrived about a week ago and they were damaged or water logged or musty like I worried. They were just as I left them. I will be referring as many people as I can to this company.

I had moving pros come and move my 3 bedroom/1900 sq ft house. A friend had referred me to moving pros. I received many phone bids and found that I really felt comfortable with Chris based on his knowledge of the industry. My close friend also told me not to go with anyone else! He was right. Moving pros showed up on time and wrapped my furniture inside the house with moving blankets and moved everything to the truck. Moving pros also gave me insurance on the move which I felt was necessary. The men were fun. I mean they were really nice to be around joking and having fun even though it was so cold outside. I will refer moving pros to my friends or just anyone that is moving and needs a great moving service.

Moving pros was awesome from beginning to start. I’ve never used a company as thorough as these guys were from start to finish. I was actually set up to do business with another company prior to selecting moving pros. I didn't really do my due diligence on my first company and Jon was very helpful in giving me more info on them and even helping me to get the sizable deposit I put down back. Jon wasn't pushy and had an incredible knowledge of the industry. Furthermore the moving crew that showed up was great. They wrapped everything thoroughly and crated our motorcycle. I was expecting a 10 hour day but Anthony and Marvin got their guys to finish everything in about 6. There was a lot of furniture too so I was pretty impressed. If you want a hassle free experience just call Jon he wills latke good care of you.

Moving pros was excellent to work with the whole way through. We heard there advertisement on the radio and decided to give them a call. They came out to my house that same day and did a thorough walk through of the home. We discussed the different items they would pack, and the items that I would pack myself. The very next day one of the gentleman from the office called me and discussed the pricing options they had for me. They even gave me a $200 discount for being a grad student which was pretty cool. We scheduled a time and they guaranteed both pickup and delivery which was cool. On the day of the move everything went as planned. They were truly in and out. They packed everything I paid them to pack and loaded their truck and got on their way. When they arrived at my new home they put every last piece back together and even helped us unpack the TV from the TV box. The foreman of the crew was great and worked diligently the entire time.

If you've ever moved before you know how terrible it can be. We had a friend that used moving pros before and recommended we use them to move our storage unit. Being we knew the storage unit was 10x10 it was very easy for moving pros to give us a price without having to come and see everything. They price their jobs out based on volume so we knew what our max price would be. They gave us a “worst case scenario” estimate based on max volume of the unit. When everything ended up being loaded onto the truck our final price was much lower than the estimate cost. We just didn't have as much stuff in there as we remembered. Overall the guys were a pleasure to work with and we were happy with the price.

I just relocated using moving pros. This was my first move and I was extremely nervous with all my belongings going in a truck with men I don't know. From the moment Larry called me he was a compete professional, he promised me that the only thing that was important to him was getting my items shipped safely and for a fair price. We made my inventory and I knew the way they handle themselves I was in good hands. Needless to say the gentlemen who packed my items were absolute gentlemen. Took complete care of my items, and when they delivered in my new home they assembled and placed everything in the new location until I was pleased. Long story short this could've been a very hectic experience but with Moving Pros it was simple, safe, and practical. I would recommend dealing with Larry to any person looking for a reputable honest salesmen.
Had a tremendous experience with the Moving Pros. They really are professional. Wasn't too expensive and definitely the best bang for your back in the area. If you get an opportunity to use their services, I definitely recommend it. Thanks to the entire staff got such a smooth experience.

Cheats!!!!! Not one aspect of their service has integrity. Rifled thru sealed boxes. Stole boxes. Late pick up late delivery and insisted on shuttle though none needed. No communication once down payment made. Crooks

I dont know much about moving companies from personal experience, but i sure have heard a lot from friends and read a lot on the internet about some of these guys. i just wanted things to go smooth. moving pros was great. after we contracted with them i actually found out one of the foreman knows my uncle jimmy from a volunteer organization they're both involved with. small world. I'm not sure if i just got the friends and family special service, but i was more than pleased. they did everything they promised to do and then some. really went above and beyond.
